I was sitting one row behind the Olympic selection committee as this happened. Hands down this was the greatest floor routine ever performed without a triple double. This routine would have won Olympic gold at Paris!
I came to see the routine here after watching her fall in the Olympics. It's a great routine. It's a shame that she got sick at the worst possible time. That's hard to do when healthy let alone after not being able to eat for a couple days.
to me this is a historic performance. the highest form of art is to become the GRACE AND BEAUTY manifestation. through work, perfection and the unbelievable body jade has. she tracends the human limits to become beauty in movement. perfection, divine moments of grace and maximum beauty she gifts to our eyes and hearts
She would have won gold or silver with this in Paris. It’s such a shame she got sick at qualifications because she is such a powerful tumbler. Her choreography has really improved as well!
definitely gold, i think she probably would increase her dificulty to 6.4 by add a front layout and with solid landings like in this one the execution score would be in the 8.0s for sure ( sabrina had terrible artistry and way worst form on her tumbling and got a 7.9 just because had clean landings)
1:00-1:10 Her team really looked at the artistry check list and created a routine to minimize deductions despite artistry not being Jade's strength. I am curious how this compares to Jordan. I see Jordan as more musical and more dance, but I am concern her choreography is way more upper body and is not as well designed for this code.
Her routine has more emphasis on footwork and avoids all deductions that have no subjectivity. Still, some ruthless judges don't care. I don't know how they evaluate Jordan's routine because some objective deductions are still applicable if judges are ruthless.
@@cocoroni1031 So the best standard of comparison is eythora of netherlands which can be about 0.1 deductions per 2023 worlds. My suspicion is Jade get 0.35-0.5 deductions, which is about 0.25-0.4 more than the max minimal deductions they would give. I suspect Jordan to fall into a similar area of Jade. Jordan's choreography has the very obvious deductions (ex: no floor choreography). I am rather surprised her team. does not include these clear checkboxes
@@zb6070 My expected range is still 0.2 - 0.6 like she did in 2022. Jordan does not have the complex choreo because the wolf turn takes a lot of time to prep and perform, just like Jess in 2023. But Jess's last choreo can fulfill the requirement. Curious to see what will happen.
@@zb6070 that’s what some judges gave in 2022. I see why some judges give that, but this judge will also be equally generous for all and execute according to the principle of “enough / not enough” by Donatella.
simone has the potential for a 7.2 lol, this is 6.3, she should add back the front lay to silivas and dismount with a DLO to get to 6.6 and go for the silver.
Jade Carey is my favorite gymnast but there is no way she beats Biles for gold. She might need to still upgrade a couple of more tenths because Chiles can outscore her because she has fewer of those stupid dance deductions (2 per country rule). Carey also has to compete with Andrade for silver.
@@pedropelaez I agree, I love her floor, she doesn't usually smile but she is now. I think she should dismount with a front 1/1 into a DLO as her last pass, worth an H. Lol.
This routine was absolutely amazing! I love Jade so much and this floor routine was definitely one of her best!

Loved this routine. i hope she goes to LA in 2028.
I’m gutted we won’t see her on floor at all on the Olympic stage past qualifying, this routine was fire.
Yea, tbh I don't see the point of joscelyn and leanne being there since the others won't even do their routine
Me too! If she would have done this in Paris she could have challenged both Simone and Rebecca!
They should've let her compete in team finals

My personal favorite gymnast
Definitely. I love that she has balance between feminine and edgy. It’s a cool combo.
@@WhatSayCrochet absolutely agree
Darn..I wish she wasn’t sick during qualifying at the Olympics..I would have loved to see this floor routine!
Like can we all agree we love jade to the moon and back! ? ❤

Deserves more visibility for sure
A healthy jade is a beast for sure!
Can someone please make a playlist of all Jade Carry videos over the years?
QUEEN!!!!!!
I'm a big fan

1:40 that maybe her happiest face in competition 😂
I love this routine, even the choreo, its the best shes done. I think her last pass should be front lay to DLO. Lol
@@2FLIPS3.5TWISTS She needs her ankles so no 😂 maybe a front through to full in
@@2FLIPS3.5TWISTS too many people get crushed on double layout 😫
My Jade loveee mijaa
she could easily score in the 8s for execution if she took some ballet classes.. dancing literally looks harder for her than the tumbling
Woaaaa love Jade my favorite

Nice coreography and probably again gold on floor
