- Oregon State's Jade Carey earned the all-around title with a 39.775 final score against No. 6 UCLA on Sunday, Jan. 29 in Westwood. Carey scored a 9.950 on vault, a 9.925 on bars and beam, and a 9.975 on floor.

She's totally warmed up to college gymnastics now, smiles way more. It's awesome to see.

I like how she isn’t relying on the lunge at the ends of passes, but is pretty much sticking them like elite and then posing in the expected lunge (deduction-less placement).
She has used NCAA to aid in her elite career and it's done wonders. I don't think she will be getting slammed as hard on artistry, she is smiling and coming out of her shell....finally!!!
HER FLOOR DESERVED A 10 MORE THAN ALL THE GIVEN 10s THIS SEASON ‼️

It is so fun to watch these Olympic gymnasts compete at the collegiate level. They have SO MUCH FUN. I know the Olympics come with their own unique pressure, but it is so wonderful to see their genuine joy when they’re competing with their college teammates. That was beautiful Jade!!!
I love the support by her teammates. She’s an Olympian in every apparatus. Glad she’s enjoying college! In my 3 years of elite it was constant bullying I started at 4 yrs old and started elite at 12 1/2 then was injured before college so I followed my dream and joined the fire department as a Firemedic. It’s a brother/sister hood now that’s so tight, so glad you are all so supportive that’s so important!! ❤#TeamJade💕

Loving that leo. Jade is on fire! She has loosened up on floor, more graceful arms, and fantastic to see those smiles after pass 1 and 3. Expecting to see her in Paris for sure.
I only saw her do two passes? 1) double double, 2) punch something to the double pike? Am I missing something? Watched back 3 x 😂

My family misses seeing Jade Carey and all the other gymnastics teams compete! Why does PAC-12 not air on youtubeTV? Wouldn't PAC-12 be viewed by a much larger audience if it was shown on more network carriers like youtubeTV? My daughters will settle for viewing the B10 for now.

what gets her is the bent knees and flexed feet on vault, the legs apart on bars and not hitting the splits fully on beam other than those things she is perfect BUT in elite that is why she always get hit hard
Yeah an Olympic gold medal and 3 medals at Worlds last year alone including two gold. They really demolished her. 😂

With all these diferent difficult skills the 10 points code doesn't fit well.. or they will have to lower the value of other routines

Oh my, college gymnastics is so dull
She's gotten so good and I am so glad she got a chance at the Olympics. A lot of these gymnasts are as good as Simone so I don't know why Simone gets so much credit.
Did any of them win 4 olympic gold medals? No, so they aren't as good as Simone and now you know why Simone gets so much credit

Yeah I get the sentiment and there are phenomenal gymnasts out there, but if you don’t think Simone deserves all her praise, then you frankly just don’t know gymnastics well and what Simone has done.
Same. Respect Simone’s tumbling but she lacks polish (toe points, out of bounds all the time) and artistry. I think the goat would have all 3 and she’s definitely not my favorite gymnast. Daniela Silivas is my favorite
@@unknown-lf6zx Simone May lack many things but compared to Jade and actually any American girl she’s far more better, since I fail to find any American gymnast from the last decade that has artistry, or pointed toes. At least Simone had a better form in the air, better than any American girl has ever had. Silivas is from a complete different era of gymnasts, one cannot compare those gymnasts to today’s gymnasts.
I'm sure Jade fans will come for me, but IMHO, she still looks pretty stiff on the floor.
