Read her lips and tell me what she said bc if it’s what it looks like, she should be ashamed. The instant look of “I think I got away with it,” sealed it for me. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
She said "Let's fucking go!" I don't know if you felt that was crass, but that's just a common thing that people her age and younger say to cheer people on. She just saw her sister complete a difficult and crucial routine at her second Olympic Trials after receiving news that Suni would never be able to do elite level gymnastics because of her health condition. She's excited, let her be. The last thing she was probably thinking about is trying to "get away" with saying a cuss word on TV.

@@raincoathavelishe was diagnosed with 2 types of kidney disease and her doctors told her she would never do gymnastics again. She just started full training again with no restrictions in March
She's 3rd even with the mistake on beam and near miss on vault. If she cleans it up at day 2 and make those bar connections, she could overtake Jordan and place 2nd overall. Rooting for her all the way

Well done Suni! You came 3rd on the first day of Trials with a 56.025 having big mistakes, didn't connect the bars, almost fell in beam... If you show your full difficulty on Sunday, you will be N.2 without any problem and you can even reach a score of 58.

58 might be a stretch, but she can definitely go 57.5 if she hits! She basically had the equivalent of a 0.5 error on three events.
@@erinm9445 i think she lost nearly .8 on bars too, i think she might've hit her foot on one of the bar elements and that was .5 off on her e on bars (i may be wrong), and the connections missed too
@@_youssef1989 Yes, she lost 0.6 on bars, 0.5 for the foot tap, and a missed connection that cost 0.1 in CV. She does want to eventually connect the Bjardwaj to the VL, which would give her another 0.2 in CV beyond that, but I don't think she was intending that routine last night, makes more sense to play it safe for trials.

These tests are the most difficult and stressful. If she manages to overcome this, then she has a month to prepare for the Olympics and she will be much better in Paris. Praying to see Suni on the team and in the AA finals of the games.
Suni just needs clean 8/8 for her confidence. She can unload the full clip in Paris.
With shilese and skye out (which is super sad and i wish them a speedy recovery) suni will make the team for sure. before the trials she was most likely on the team but now they need her bars and beam scores so much!

If anything you could’ve cut beam out to make her look better but you drop her amazing floor routine is crazy
they cut routines for over half even with three down...scores? pfft. I had to look them up online.
They’re probably trying to avoid music copyright issues. If I had to guess, they knew they HAD to show Simone’s floor (because it’s amazing and arguably her best event), so they probably sorted out the rights to that music ahead of time. Then they went “We don’t want to clear everyone’s floor music, that’s gonna be expensive 😬”
That wobble on beam took great coordination to stay on. I am glad Suni was able to save that.

I didn't want to point it out, but she wouldn't open her mouth to breathe in her previous tournaments. But now that she fixed her teeth and is opening her mouth more, it shows that it helps to get more oxygen into your system while exerting these difficult moves.
