This was my favorite floor routine of the games. Not only is Rebeca very expressive and performs difficult skills, she executes everything so beautifully! Her choreo for her floor music is absolutely perfect, and I love how she gets involved in the music and has fun with it. Her floor choreographer deserves props!!!

Rebeca deserved the gold but until Rebeca beats Simone when she hits, she’s not better than Simone. She’s only better when Simone makes mistakes, but not when she’s at her best.

I'll never forget this day, it was like a world cup for Brazil and i remember to wake up and being surprised with the news that she won gold medal, i didn't watch her performance for the difference of the hours on my country but i got very happy, she deserves a lot 🇧🇷✨

Although I love Simone but Rebecca’s gold floor medal should be a wake up call for Simone that she can’t always rely on her gigantic D score to win😢 Like her D score is a whooping 1.0 point above Rebe’s and yet she could somehow lost the gold🥲🥲
No actually it should be a wake up call to Rebeca and others that they need to up their difficult because Simone had 0.6 in out of bounds deductions and was only .336 behind Andrade having a near perfect routine. Honestly it shows that Simone can only be beaten if she has mistakes, no one can beat her if she hits. This is Simone first time having a floor score under 14.600. Rebeca deserves the gold but let’s not act like Simone had a perfect floor routine.

Simone is very short (13 cm shorter than Rebeca) what helps her in more difficult jumps. But even if she hadn't made mistakes, the coreography and chosen song didn't help her much.
