This is art at its best. Em is out of this world creative. The topic, concept, raw emotions, changing of the voice, anger, is just insane. I’ve never seen another artist perform a song like this with this much emotion ever. Wow.

Starting off reading the back story about it being a love song made the reactions so much more raw. The facial expressions were priceless. Definitely much darker than y'all were ready for based on the "love song" description.
from a creative point of view, this is one of the top 5 songs ever, in any genre, not just rap. this is pure art, simply a masterpiece. i was 12 years old when i heard it first, and i grew up in a disfunctional family with a lot of domestic violence, so hearing this at such a young age traumatized me. but i'm glad it made me feel the way it did, real art is supposed to hit you in any way possible. also, check out the cover for the slim shady lp album which was released before this one. eminem and his daughter are chilling on a pier and there is a car next to them with a female foot sticking out of the trunk. it's basically a picture of this song's ending that was yet to be created. mindblowing
Glad they’re finally getting to the old good stuff. Funny how you guys are reacting to this stuff the exact same way people did when it came out. The fact he can make you FEEL that in a song is what’s great. Hence his success.
Imagine how we felt when this shit came out originally. This was an amazing love letter written by a man who's heart was crushed. He did all the voices, too. This is one of his best tracks.
Thank you for doing this. Summer 2000. Fort Lee Virginia. I purchased this CD from the PX and didn't get a chance to pop it in my portable CD player (yes, I'm that old) until lights out. I fell asleep to the CD two songs in, BUT THEN... ...I woke up RIGHT WHEN this song came on. I sat up in my bunk absolutely stunned at what I was hearing. It was (at the time) the darkest and most disturbing song I had ever heard. When the song ended, I just sat there speechless. To this day, I find this song to be both brilliant and terrifying.
It's all about perspective. How do you feel when you broke up with someone who was your entire world? Hurt, betray, pain, agony, anger. I don't think think he'd ever do anything he did in this song, more or less what he felt and just belted out his emotions and illustrated them in a way anyone could feel it
One of my favourites, now listen to 97 bonnie and Clyde… another brilliant one that’s the 2nd part…being there in 97 as a kid… best years to grow up… his best music to
This song is a masterpiece tbh. I know its dark but it captures the impulse of rage while painting a video in your head. Him yelling at traffic and the unwarranted frustration with the little things like the radio while thinking of the good times but simultaneously reverting back to anger it makes you relate even if you never had those extreme feelings. Rage grief pain bi-polarism and the internal struggle of love. Dark yet poetic.
this and the sequel to this “97 bonnie and clyde” are some of the most creative and unique rap songs ever. this one he’s screaming all the way through going back and forth to do a woman’a voice while perfectly getting the feeling from both sides across. and in the other song he’s talking like a baby all the way explaining murder as cute and normal as possible. artistically, its damn near masterful btw i think you guys would like the eminem show best. best song is probably sing for the moment and you might have fun in “my dads gone crazy” or “square dance” or “business”

I agree. Bonnie and Clyde is next if you haven't already. This is first and that comes after. This is the type of song that scares alot of people and he vented heavily. People protested him for this too i think
97 Bonnie and Clyde
FINALLY! I have been asking for this for months!
This is art at its best.
Em is out of this world creative.
The topic, concept, raw emotions, changing of the voice, anger, is just insane.
I’ve never seen another artist perform a song like this with this much emotion ever.
Wow.
Em is in a different league. I listened to almost everything he ever released. You all should definitely listen to his first albums all the way through. It will only make you think even more. True genius.
käptn peng is even better when it comes to storystelling. nobody can reach his level, he is not the best rapper but the lyrics are from another world. its like u are listen to a rapping nietzsche, kant, schopenhauer etc
Em can tell a story that has you watchin it as a movie in your head thats where the genius is in this song
Was dying to see your reaction to this, literally got chills when watching this
I been waiting for y’all to do this song 😩
Starting off reading the back story about it being a love song made the reactions so much more raw. The facial expressions were priceless. Definitely much darker than y'all were ready for based on the "love song" description.
I remember getting this CD when it came out, we was like "w t f" ..... I love it ! Play it again!
from a creative point of view, this is one of the top 5 songs ever, in any genre, not just rap. this is pure art, simply a masterpiece. i was 12 years old when i heard it first, and i grew up in a disfunctional family with a lot of domestic violence, so hearing this at such a young age traumatized me. but i'm glad it made me feel the way it did, real art is supposed to hit you in any way possible. also, check out the cover for the slim shady lp album which was released before this one. eminem and his daughter are chilling on a pier and there is a car next to them with a female foot sticking out of the trunk. it's basically a picture of this song's ending that was yet to be created. mindblowing
It’s crap tbh. And wouldn’t have got eminem cancelled these days
I've been waiting for this my whole life ngl
We all have insane thought and emotions,
For him to pen this is why it's one of his greatest songs.
This was a prequel track to the "Bonnie & Clyde" track if you haven't done that it leads into it
I have been Patiently waiting for this one
kim's voice is Em's doing it this man is a genius
now you guys have to do bonnie and clyde, it connects to this track
Glad they’re finally getting to the old good stuff. Funny how you guys are reacting to this stuff the exact same way people did when it came out. The fact he can make you FEEL that in a song is what’s great. Hence his success.
What a nice song to listen to especially with the family and friends.
One of my favorite tracks in this album. He really knows how to push the envelope.
even though it was graphic ,it was genius how he painted a picture like it was a horror movie through rap...dope
Def one of the most original songs in hip hop. Though not my cup of tea, this song once heard will never be forgotten.
Haha Finally saw some shocked faces. Nice reaction, really liked it!
Imagine how we felt when this shit came out originally. This was an amazing love letter written by a man who's heart was crushed. He did all the voices, too. This is one of his best tracks.
If you listen to ‘97 Bonnie and Clyde it’s Part 2 to this song there’s a total of 3 songs in this trilogy
What’s the third

I've been waiting for you to drop this.. after Kim do the part 2 which is JUST THE TWO OF US..
97 bonnie and clyde
@@anishsharma7298 that’s the re recorded version.
Part 2 was on the album before? 🙈
thats the ep version, 97' Bonnie and Clyde for the LP version
now 97’ bonnie and clyde is a MUST!! + kim is his EX wife! not his wife
& my dad’s gone crazy or hailie’s song!!
97 Bonnie and Clyde, the after story of ditching the body
Can't lie. I love this song. So cinematic.
You will never how creative this was and still is. I remember the first time I heard this it blew my mind.
Definitely do 97 Bonnie and Clyde next .. it's basically part 2 of this song
It is
Alright, now yall gotta react to Part 2, 97 Bonnie and Clyde by Eminem
LOL seeing ya'll's faces while the song played is hilarious hahahahaha. That was Em back in my day (I'm 41) lol.
Favourite reaction to this song. The shock in your faces was the same as mine when I heard this one
brandons green hat with an orange bill is making me wanna request "role model"
The voice of Kim, is Eminem voice!!!!
Congratulations 400k Subs
You fellas faces are priceless on this one
please check out "Phenomenal/Guts Over Fear / Kings Never Die"
Don't know if you guys already reacted to 97" Bonnie and Clyde but you should check it
This was my favorite song off that album
So much pain in him in this song. So fricking good and deep
You heard the pain in he's voice.. 🤘🏻
It's all about perspective. How do you feel when you broke up with someone who was your entire world? Hurt, betray, pain, agony, anger. I don't think think he'd ever do anything he did in this song, more or less what he felt and just belted out his emotions and illustrated them in a way anyone could feel it
Maybe he should have treated her better in the first place then
glad i grew up in a time that an artist could go that far
Oof been waiting for this man lmao.
Gotta listen to 97’ Bonnie and Clyde. It’s a part 2 to this!!!!
sing for the moment by eminem!! please react to the uncensored version
Pure art
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!
Y’all should do 97 Bonnie and Clyde off the slim shady LP
whenever I'm mad at my girl, but we stuck in the car together.
I put this on.
and I rap it at the top of my lungs.
ohh, the sweet sound of justice
Masterpiece 🔥🔥
😂😂😂 the shock on all y'all's face😂😂😂 Priceless
You guys need to listen to " Eminem - Bad guy " , the last verse on that song is arguably one of the best verses in hip-hop history.
Lmao you guys weren't ready for this lol , Listen to the whole Marshall Mathers LP is 🔥🐐🔥
YOOO Ive been waiting for you to review this one 😂
One of my favourites, now listen to 97 bonnie and Clyde… another brilliant one that’s the 2nd part…being there in 97 as a kid… best years to grow up… his best music to
This song is a masterpiece tbh. I know its dark but it captures the impulse of rage while painting a video in your head. Him yelling at traffic and the unwarranted frustration with the little things like the radio while thinking of the good times but simultaneously reverting back to anger it makes you relate even if you never had those extreme feelings. Rage grief pain bi-polarism and the internal struggle of love. Dark yet poetic.
this and the sequel to this “97 bonnie and clyde” are some of the most creative and unique rap songs ever. this one he’s screaming all the way through going back and forth to do a woman’a voice while perfectly getting the feeling from both sides across. and in the other song he’s talking like a baby all the way explaining murder as cute and normal as possible. artistically, its damn near masterful
btw i think you guys would like the eminem show best. best song is probably sing for the moment and you might have fun in “my dads gone crazy” or “square dance” or “business”
Classic... its chaos bt satisfying becus its so visual
I’ve always loved the chorus though. Crazy song lol the chorus man would make a great sample someday
It's so crazy how the times have changed and how this track and Ems older stuff legit shocks people now. I remember dudes and chick's bumping this song/album in their cars, party's, high school sports practices, etc, and nobody flinched, try that now tho lol you're likely to get arrested
