Hi Mike, I started watching your videos of china and other places first and then got to see this India video. I just want to point something out that you probably weren’t aware of, or weren’t made aware of. That there are many people in India that grew up in these “slums” or “chawls” that have made it out and are doing extremely well. My wife who trained in an arts program outside of India grew up with her brother in a chawl just 25 years ago, are now both thriving and are in different parts of the world doing different things and thriving. India has a lot of work to do, but there are countless stories of children succeeding from humble beginnings, it’s a testament to the way things are done in India, it’s not perfect, but it’s much better than a lot of other parts of the world. What you see on the surface is not a true representation of the opportunity and vibrance India has to offer. I really hope you see this comment.
Mike your visit to that school was lovely. Its one of the best ever. Absolutely delighted to watch those lovely smiling kids and the others as well. You have made them so happy that they'll cherish this memory. I'm touched and moved.🎉
Mumbai must have changed a lot. I went there in 1984 when I was a thirteen years old kid. It was actually the first time I went to India and I loved it. then there was no public toilet. everybody was doing there business on the side of the road and washing themselves where ever they could. I was going around on my own and I loved it. my parents scared the shit about not knowing where I was at all time, but already at this age I did enjoyed new cultures and the starting of travelling on my own on a tight budget and was the starting of my love for India and most of eastern asia. unfortunatly now in our days I am kind of disabled and can't unfortunatly travel anymore. the good is that I met my beautiful wife in mindanao, southern philippines. thank you very much everyone in asia and all over the world.
U can visit south India u can see variety of different foods temples heritage and culture especially Kerala and Tamil Nadu it's amazing Kerala, munnar, kochi, wayanad
Bro, your way of explaining things is extremely good and interesting, it makes keep watching till the end 😊 with positive vibe😇 Take care while in crowd.
In just a few videos you have become my favourite "youtube traveller" and i would love to run into you in person one day. Am myself going on a 2 month trip across Kenya next year (a country I have visited many times since 2017, and i have 2 airbnb there) I highly recommend you to visit Kenya my brother. Btw, could you tell me your age? And for how long you been doing thos youtube thing? Thanks for some great content my man :)
Interesting premise. However, claiming 'God is with you wherever you go' presumes an omnipresent being who not only witnesses all actions but also chooses not to intervene in a vast range of suffering, violence, and human struggle. Logically, if an omnipotent force is present but remains inactive during crises, this raises questions about either its benevolence or its capability. Furthermore, if this presence is undetectable and unverifiable, its 'existence' is arguably indistinguishable from absence. So, while the sentiment might be comforting, the logic lacks coherence when held against observable reality.
@@Mr-S.p.o.c.k Interesting! Just what this video was missing-an impromptu philosophy essay, complete with a deep dive into the paradoxes of omnipotence. Really complements that casual "stay healthy" message above perfectly. 🧐😆👏🙄
Mike, I genuinely admire your positive attitude and your ability to adapt on the spur of the moment. Your talk to those beautiful school children was truly heartwarming. You are the best, Man!
I know watching footage and *actually visiting* a given continent/country are two *vastly* different things, but Mike Okay's videos almost teleport you to the places he visits. Keep up the amazing videos, Mike Great! But more importantly, thank you for sharing the love and care of humankind with those all around the world! 😎
Imagine what kind of career Mike might have if he did politics or something similar where his exceptional skills would fit. But I bet he's too good of a guy to do something like that.
