I tried it.. it was tasty.. the only change I made was added garlic after 50% of cooking.. small piece of ginger & tadka didn't spoil the Malabar taste.. thank you for your effort and recipe..Keep up 😇
@@mariapinto9886 here iam a southern keralite... for aviyal we'll grind grated coconut with shallots, cumin seeds and green chillies ....garlic is optional 👍🏻
Good vedio and nice presentation.but a small suggestion in Malabar normally we won't use ginger in aviyal..instead we will use bitter gourd and Kovakka
Authentic Malabar avial does not have mustard ginger and cummin .Also bitter gourd is an important item and so also curd.pl do not use the term Malabar avial .This will be misinterpreted
We don't! Just keep it satvik for sadhya....no ginger and garlic..yet it tastes awesome..all the flavours of vegetables, coconut oil, curry leaves, cumin, green chillies, coconut and curd😋

,too much hurry, and not mentioning the names of vegetables are 2 minus points in your vid
All the names are mentioned in english & malabar style aviyal do have excess gravy. Dont act like a maestro with lesser knowledge.
Good
Thanks
