Thank you for sharing your experience Ahmed and giving us insight. I love this video of Junaid's for the message of treating people right no matter what their occupation. I would like to inquire a little bit regarding the comparison of your friend and your father driving the same car. I am assuming that your father being a doctor works less hours than your friend who does food delivery. I am also assuming that your father who is a doctor and your friend live in different parts of towns, shop at different grocery stores. Your father probably is also less hampered by unexpected bills which may come up but your friend may not have the same luxury. Are my assumptions correct? My point in asking all of this is to say that even though your father and friend may drive the same car and may have similar material thigns but their quality of life may be completely different. I believe that is where there is a similarity between the workers of Pakistan and UK. I think it's unfair to say that since this person is driving a decent car and wears beats they are financially secure. Workers in Pakistan are definitely more under threat in Pakistan because of the lack of social welfare programs in Pakistan but the disparity in the quality of life between the upper middle class and those who work paycheck to paycheck is similar IMO.
@@zrzaidi64 Hey, thanks for your reply!! Definitely you are right about most things. It's true that there would be some luxuries that my father is able to afford that my friend is not. Interms of groceries or restaurants, I doubt there is much big of a difference as that's not a very major expense compared to Pakistan. In terms of housing, yes my family lives in a 4 bedroom bungalow outside of town with a spacious lawn. While, he might live in flat. So yes there is disparity, but that's not as significant as compared to that in Pakistan. For example here a doctor might earn 3-4x the income of a delivery bike rider as compared to that in Pakistan a doctor might earn 10-20x or even more the income of a delivery rider on foodpanda lets say. So can you see the huge difference in gap and a larger disparity? That's what my point is. But nonetheless a normal worker can afford most things and 90% of the lifestyle that a professional like doctor can afford but yes there are things that he/she can't afford at the same time and less frequent vacations and eating out etc. Hope it helps!

Hello junaid bhai asalamualkum. I am a student in London and have some relatives also living in London. They have been living in London for the past 20 years and they always argue with me that Pakistan is very cheap, petrol is just 150rs while its around 300 here but they never talk about the income of the middle-class people. They always say people earn a lot in Pakistan but just to avoid tax, they show themself poor. When we come to part-time work, I found a job in a factory of a Pakistani in London, he was just giving me 5.5/hr while the minimum wage is 8. Still, I was able to manage my own expenses Alhamdulillah. I was just working 24hrs a week and I was still managing my own expenses Alhamdulillah. The thing is we just need to understand the basics of standard life. As said by you, even Mba's are having difficulty to afford the basic necessities in Pakistan while a person having a part time job in any 1st world country can bear their own expenses and can even save a lot of money. May Allah make our country prosper and a better place ameen
Do most of the students after completing their education from uk get jobs in thier field. What's your observation? I'm thinking of pursuing masters from uk.
Bhai legally u can work only 20 hrs on student visa 😂. Anyways in London you'd find loads of jobs. Don't work at a kebab shop or any small dhabba restaurant jahan apnay log hotay hain. They pay u in cash so govt doesn't know they aren't even paying u min wage. Go to a better place where pay will be better. I was working too in warehouses and factories at 8.91/hr (min wage) but after that I built up experience and for one of my jobs I was earning 16.41/hr with £2.08 holiday pay (assisitng professors at uni during their lectures)
Pakistanis in UK will only pick odd jobs whereas Indians will work in offices /IT . I always wonder when this nation will ever grow up ..but I doubt that it will ever grow up. If you are a student and goal is to work in factory in UK then you should be ashamed of yourself for being so naive and wasting your parent's money abroad. I have seen tons of Pakistanis coming in UK on student visas and leaving universities cz they wanted to make money. So horrible
It’s all because of us Junaid Bhai. For a long time the governments elected or selected are corrupt and we never go against them, always supported them whatever they have done to us no matters. We want people like you and some youth in our Parliament to make better rules regulations and make our institutions much better where everybody is accountable.

Your points about the difference in treatment between labor workers in Pakistan vs UK are 100% valid. Although the comparison between the earnings of a maid in Pakistan to that of a maid in UK isn't quite fair. Your maid at $13/hr is making just shy of $25,000 a year, BEFORE taxes, if she works 40hrs/wk. That's not a livable wage. Avg salary in London is about $44,000. Not saying you should pay your maid $44,000. Sub dollars signs for pound signs. Amazing videos love your message.

Taxes are really high but this is probably a lifestyle she enjoys. Working while being semi retired. Mind you, she also owns her own home and husband also works so $25,000 pounds a year on a lesser tax rate is fine? Plus with cleaning companies you can depreciate your assets like cars and cell phones.

The reason is that in foreign countries, all family members work and take the responsibility of their expenses and other things. It's not parents responsibility to prepare and serve food for grown up children, to laundry and press their clothes, and clean their rooms and washrooms like most parents do in pakistan. Also, daughter in law is not responsible of taking care of every single person in the household.
My parents live in Saudi and they went to Pakistan recently. Before going, my mother bought a purse/handbag for one of our relatives from a famous brand. When she saw the same brand in Pakistan, she checked the price of that **SAME** handbag and after converting it to Saudi riyal she found out it was more expensive in Pakistan 🤦♂️. Whereas being here in the UK as a student I found items at brands to be even cheaper than Saudi. And Junaid Bhai is right, grocery shopping, both my family and I found it to be cheaper (and quality wise better) than Saudi. agree and by showing this video to pakistanis u r creating the perception everybody is earning much and things are quite easy here, inflation has increased too much, life has become very difficult, pakistanis are calculating and converting into Rs but Khalli walli didn't show the side that if u earn more u spend more money compared to pakistan, example. if u earn 1800 pounds a month you spend 1000 pounds may be only on rent then food petrol, paying the bils, you don't spare much, khalli walli yaar
yeah obviously yr there is hell of difference between both of economics Pakistan or UK.👍👍☺️ but people don't see the other perspectives which you tells.
Life is tough overseas but easy at the same time. Medical is free (at least in Canada). No electric or gas load shedding. Online billing. Grocery and necessities are cheap. You can eat or buy whatever you want because of the purchasing power. If you're a lazy ass you can still survive on a minimum wage.
Junaid your frustration is justified. However, I still see that PPP doesn't cover the full canvas. It also deals with outburst of population and many other factors. We well deserve what we are. I would suggest to watch video of Hans Rosling, he worked on data visualisation and was an impressive doctor. I bet you'll become his fan. One conclusion that can be derived from his findings is that the low income will follow where the family has more children, women doesn't work and more importantly uneducated.

Great depiction of how we should respect our house helpers and how there's a gap in the purchasing power (PP) between the UK and Pakistan. Always a fan! BUT fairly inaccurate assumption in comparing UK's potential to absorb the price of petrol and our capacity to provide more releif in the petrol prices. The argument is that despite, UK being a powerful country, it is quoting a higher price- how much do you expect Pakistan's economy to absorb the losses.[note that the ex works price is same for both the countries]. The same goes for mostly all the imports we make- including cars [and ignoring custom duties]. The utility of a Rupee may be 2-3 times an equivalent pence, but not for imported goods from x country, where the utility of the Rupee and Pound will be the same.

Aap bilkul Sahi keh rahy hain Junaid Bhai, bilkul aesa hi hai Pakistan main haqeqat nahi btaty Thanks 👍
Bro why work for a Pakistani in London, he will treat you as a newcomer who does not know anything.
Do most of the students after completing their education from uk get jobs in thier field. What's your observation? I'm thinking of pursuing masters from uk.
if they complain so much why dont they come back to pakistan

If Pakistan is even below that *AND MORE EXPENSIVE* then I feel sorry for people living there honestly 😑.

@@MuseebatTvofficial Lol Pakistan will ofc be cheaper than gulf. But I'm talking about buying things from expensive brands.
