Honestly I lived 3 years in UK, and now its been 6 years I am back, but never adjusted again, once a person see a civilaized nation, he can never adjust to such an uncivilized place...I am regretting the day I left UK, and now making every effort to go back, every day I drive a bike on the roads of Karachi, I really feel that I have no respect on motor bike, people in cars just keep on honking, and even when signal is closed they keep on giving horns..there is to much noise pollution, in 3 years I never heard a single horn in london, and here in karachi, so many horns, people even do not wait for a second...this behavior will never change here..

@@basilskrskr7915 I've felt UAE is the best example for Pakistanis, as it takes the same time to fly to it from Karachi as it takes to fly to Islamabad. Another big factor is that so many people in UAE are from Pakistan. The way the law of UAE puts fear of God in hearts, kindness in actions, and shame in eyes of our people tells how well governed UAE is.

I express my gratitude by showing thumps up , whenever someone gives way or tries to be cooperative. I am from Hyderabad India(Traffic is messy here), once I was in the middle of road, suddenly a car stopped in the middle of road and everyone started honking, I was wondering why this happened, was shocked to see he applied sudden brake because there was a pigeon that landed in front of the car, I was so happy.
Another reason behind why our people follow traffic rules is because of hefty fines that they have to pay for every violation. So that is how things works, they know the language people best understand. If we have to pay such hefty fines here, people would object and advise first improve roads.

Wonderful video and a lot of good lessons.
I learnt driving in 2001 in Islamabad and want to share my experience. Google searches and social media was not so common at that time. The only thing available was the traffic rule book I got from the traffic office. I did not memorize anything but started implementing everything in my driving. All of the rules you are talking about were taught to me by that traffic Rule Book!! So, it is all there but sadly no one reads the book anymore!!
I admit that Islamabad traffic is 100 times different from Karachi. But little by little, I am hopeful that Inshallah things will get better.

What a video! What a class it was. Got so much to learn. Thank you sir for providing us this masterpiece. This video will help alot in the future. To bring this kind of system in our country, we need educate every single person of this country. But sadly, for me, it looks so difficult or almost impossible.

i lived in johar town Lahore and my office was in barkat market. I swear I have seen 99% percent educated people break the signal and still driving 30 km/h in the fast lane. Some them driving their kids with them, eventually those kids are learning that its okay to break the law.

    • @Mianaly20
      @Mianaly20 2 роки тому +2

The solution is to increase the fine
There should be 20,000 fine for breaking the signal for car and 10,000 fine for bike. Dekho dino me kesy theek hote hai

It's difficult to maintain the rules, you eventually end up breaking one or two yourself ( myself as well). But it's the best one can do to as much as they can.

Many thanks for creating such awareness videos. I’ve been watching your videos since years now, and you have always been quite vocal on this topic, and it is genuinely important too.
Driving in a smooth traffic where everyone follows rules is such a treat.
Also, it is not just about a good experience, but so many accidents occur due to non-sense traffic situation and a few idiots on roads. Logon ki jaan tak chali jaati hai kisi ki rk choti see galti se. It is really important that something is done on a serious note to at least make the situation better. Hefty challans, wrong side traffic k lie spikes, removal of a few red lights and instead creation of u-turns at those points. etc. But yes, due to the massic traffic, lane driving is not possible. At least read lights par her log ruk jaaen to kitni lives save ho sakti hain………
Hope the situation in our countries also become better with time.
    Best regards
    an Indian living in Europe

There is also I would like to point that people use indicators while changing lanes in a multilane road and lane discipline in high speed which is very very important. Bhai 8-12 lane roads to ab India main bhi bangaye hai par public aise drive karti hai ki traffic fast aur comfortable hone ki jagah 10 times dangerous hojata hai. Very good video bhai keep preaching sense to our people.
