I am a professional 18 wheeler truck driver here in Canada 🇨🇦. I spend an average 10 hours on road daily. There are traffic problems here too. Bottom line is most drivers don't have road sense. Getting a driver's license is one thing. Having road sense is entirely different that most drivers lack.

Whether it's Karachi, Rawalpindi or Lahore, people are ever ready for road rage and reluctant to admit their mistake despite realizing that they have committed a traffic violation or done something against traffic norms!

i myself experienced one thing, while i was going for a class with my Father driving, one guy blocked the road as he stopped just to talk to his friends while blocking a lane of a main road. we asked him to move then he started to fight. I started recording so he just ran away. We need to change this thing.
It really is hilarious that , yes someone can park right in middle of major intersection and pretend no one else is there .

a very interesting and thought provoking topic, I second the concrete steps proposed by Junaid. implementation of robust traffic managements systems, law, enforcement and public training all work hand in hand, no wonder why the same people when travel on motorways suddenly start obeying the law...thumbs up to the whole team to bring up this topic. I was going araam se in my lane but vigo overtaking merey bonet pe lgtay lgtay bacha and i had to brake.
I believe Islamabad is best among traffic rules and regulations. Such implementations should be applied in Karachi and even in Lahore as well to overcome traffic irregularities.

Yep here in UAE 🇦🇪 great traffic rules happen over speeding fine, jumping red light, talking on phone while driving fine and no distance from car on highway fine and the last one is if you checked on license and if you don't have government steal your car for 1 month and a huge fine!

Hi, my suggestion for traffic control. All fuel pumps must be assured to sell fuel only on showing driving liscence and they must be checked on their devices.
