Im thinking, maybe if i imitate your voice my plants will be lovely as urs hahaha honestly i really like the way u talk its like music, no wonder ur plants are adorable :)
Im new to succulents and Ive been caring for some plants for over a year, some died but I brought them inside of course for winter so I had to get a grow light. I have a few babies I made with cuttings and Im learning about different soils and finally got some cacti plant food. Ive never been good at caring for plants but these succulents mean a lot to me now, so Im going to take care of them the best I can :D I hope to learn what each of mine are and label them
I'm not a pro, but have some certain nursery experience. I can tell you that succulents tend to change color depending on their stress levels. When they have enough water and all warm so they won't turn to all these colors. Usually what people before selling, they pre-stress them. In this case plants are cut-off from irrigation and usually placed into cooler climate conditions. This makes them stressed and they start to dense, thus, making a more defined and vivid colors. Again, just my personal opinion. Have a nice day. Cool plants all the best.
THE BLUE BIRD!!!! so many babies!!!, my top piece finally sprouted roots. i had a literal sliver of the top lol just the teeny tiny new leaves and a sliver of stem and it rooted haha. im convinced that grow lights are better than outside. my morning bneauty is flowering and its beautiful!!! covered with DE bcuz i dont want mealies!! GREAT VIDEO LIZ

Hi Liz, great video once again. I find myself watching the same videos over and over again, hoping to get similar results from my succulents with a little knowledge from you. Thank you again. My question is, how do you water the succulents under the grow light when they are inside and on trays with holes without getting water all over the floor or in my case all over the carpet?
very nice video and information learnt from you. saw a curly jade in your video, my curly jade leafs keeps dropping off every 3~4 days (in the 4" pot from Lucky store). would you please advise what i should do to "fix" it? thank you.
Crassula Undulata if that's what you refer to as curly jade can be temperamental if given the wrong condition. They don't like too much water especially if they are dormant. Their growing season is in Autumn and spring and they'll go dormant when the temperature is high. If you water them when it's hot, they will start loosing leaves. If they're waterlogged because of the type of soil they're in....they will also start losing leaves. I would advice to place them in a fast draining soil and only water when the soil is completely dry. When dry, give it a soaking overnight and drain, then place in a brightly lit area. If grown outdoors, slowly introduce them to direct sunlight.
Hi Liz. As always your videos are a celebration and learning experience. Please, make a video about Lola and what season she grew up in and what is the best treatment to give her. Does she like watering and once in a while watering? Show us your beautiful lola. Thanks for the videos
Hello Liz, Beautiful succulents as usual. Did I spot a string of turtles 🐢 under your grow lamp? Can you do a care/grow how to video on the string of turtles?? Would love to get your input on growing them. Liz
Hi tita lizk🖐 my succulents are all from different seller online(Korean succulents here in PH). They are all in grow lights for 3 months under my care.. Mga 70pcs na sila o higit pa. Worry akong mag dahan dahan acclimatize sa kanila nalilito ako🙈 pero cguro mag try ako ulet ng 10pcs. Namatayan kase ako ng tatlong piraso kasama si m-size laui pero try pa rin ako ng try kaya thank you gid Kay damo nako nabal-an mga care tips dahil sayo tita lizk😘 now I know the full sun and grow lights differences👍👏😍 pag bubutihan ko pa ang dahan dahan pag lipat sa kanila sa 50% area from my DIY greenhouse with growlights hopefully next yr. Ma pa full sun ko kahit half sa kanila.. More videos pa po tita lizk pag may time kau. Inu ulit-ulit ko mga vids mo di nakakasawang manood ng vids mo po❤😇

Hello Liz .. on average the leaves grow roots? I maybe impatient and cold weather I feel they are taking forever to grow roots. I feel summer roots come out faster🤔
I find that I get more mealies inside and hardly outside. Also noticed that I haven't found any mealies yet in my succulents that are planted in the ground. Mealies love dry condition.
Pink! We like pink! If I am not wrong, you have Pat's pink? Is Pat's pink a common succulent, Liz? I would love to have Pat's pink, if you are selling it in the future, please let me know. Thank you 🥰 Grow light's power is amazing! 👏
I'm growing my succulents under growlights, all indoor since it's winter in zone 6 right now.. I'm wondering if there's a safe way to get cold stress colors on some plants? Since you've experimented with a refrigerator, I was wondering if you thought it might bring out some colors if I left them in the fridge over nights. I'm hoping to get colors out of Suyon, Noble, Pinky Trumpet, Raspberry Ice, Sedeveria Rolly, etc.
Hi Liz :) How many cm is there between your succies and the grow light? 😄 I have a Mars Hydro SP3000 on the way (ouch bank account 🤣), and it will be much stronger than the ones I use now, and I don’t wanna burn all my succies 🙈😅
From the top of the tallest plant is 53 cm. The beauty of SP3000 is you can adjust the light. I started on 50% for the first couple of weeks and gradually turning it up until now I'm at a constant 75%. I will be doing a video to better explain.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK Thank you so much 😄❤️ Yeah the ones I have now aren’t adjustable, so I started at about 23cm away from the tallest succie, and kept an eye on everyone :) I have my succies on a 5 tier shelving (I don’t know if you call it that in english 🙈), and it gets kinda hot in between the shelves because of the lights, so I imagine it would be hitter with the SP 3000 since it’s a bigger and stronger light 😅
Is it Graptopetalum paraguayense “Ghost Plant” or Echeveria 'Ghost 61'? Chroma colors up when it's cold and will go green under the grow light. Grapto. Ghost is dormant when it's cold. E. Ghost 61 colors during winter and also prefers full sun.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK ok & Thank you so much so should I remove the chroma from under the grow lights and to a windowsill and to answer your questions it’s a Graptopetalum Paraguayense Double Ghost Plant Variegata Succulent
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK by the way I forgot to mention I’m in the US and it’s summer here not sure how to restore the color of them the Pink Rainbow Graptopetalum is green as well and they are all planted in the advanced soil mix

I have a video from my other Liz Kreate channel but maybe time for an upgrade.
So should I really buy a grow light? Does it matter which type? I found one on Amazon for $25.
It all depends on your growing area and what you want to achieve. I was using a $12 led lamp before and it helped to grow my leaf propagation faster.

Hello Liz .. on average the leaves grow roots? I maybe impatient and cold weather I feel they are taking forever to grow roots. I feel summer roots come out faster🤔
Winter are slower. Takes a couple of months if grown indoors depending on the temperature in your house.
I have a question, does the powder from the leaf come back if you touch them?
Yes they do but some plant variety takes longer than others.
Interesting comparisons.
How long do you have you light on? All the time?
12 to 16 hours.
love love love your vlog contents. nakaka good vibes. Regards and stay safe always😊❤️
Thank you! 🤗
Can I use normal led lights in place of grow light?
I used a cheap $12 one from Kmart before and it help in making the babies grow fast but they stayed green.
