Holy shit!!! This is gold! Completely makes sense. Thank the golf gods (and UA-cam algorithm) for bringing me to this. Will watch this again and take it to the range and hopefully to the course. Thank you golf sensei!!
I'm going to go try this!!! Very excited with the setup tips. I naturally even if I think I'm setting up Square to the ball, I hid from outside to in, causing a fade. So long as I control my clubface I can nearly manage a straight shot but usually I have some extra right spin on it. I'm going to try this with driver as well as it is possibly my worst club in my bag.
This is exactly who I go the range every morning. I love to experiment. I’m a natural fader of the ball and I’m currently trying to draw it. This helped a lot. I’ve been pushing the shit out of it.
damn i used to have a backyard just like that with the low wall in torrance, much love man! excellent video for me to reference as i fine tune my shots
I’m with you D-money, it isn’t that complicated just got to play with it! Wanted your thoughts on the new thinking that start line is 90% controlled by face angle, not path. Face sends it, path bends it. You said essentially the same (a REAL draw needs an open to target face, closed to path).
Hey Dave Fink, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
Watching Dave hit a fade or a slice hurts my head. It’s like if I walked into a bar trying to pick up 10s. 😂That’s not my game! Great video! Love alignment/swing path breakdown
@@davefinkgolfs definitely gotta practice more on that at the next range session!! I work my driver and long irons right to left but my wedges I hit these little cuts. 🤷🏼♂️ i just attributed it to 15 plus years of baseball.
Probably one of the most valuable sessions ever. Thank you
Dave is a deadset breath of fresh air in the online golf community. Great video and information, mate 👍👌👏
man thanks so much for this message that’s so awesome to hear

hahaha tbh the secret sauce is to only focus on your hands controlling the face of the club and only focus on path: the positions will fall into place

I just can't seem to avoid thin and skulled shots when playing for a draw.
