6:46 people get so mad when people wear this fashion.. HONESTLY I WOULD DIE IF I MET OSMEONE LIKE THIS THEY ARE SO CASUAL, CHILL, AND NICE THEIR STYLE IS ALSO HELLA COMFORTABLE TO LOL
I wish I could have Jade's entire wardrobe. I think Victorious in general had some of the best clothes. Also Total Drama Island had some cool grunge/goth clothes too, like Gwen from the original characters and Crimson and Ennui from The Ridonculous Race
@@posergrave Okay, mad idea but i would love to see a compilation of inspo outfits by your favorite goth/grunge/alternative tv and movie characters and rate how achievable/thriftable they are!! Honestly, so blown away you took my suggestion last time:')
@@cobbofcorn6120 that's also a fantastic idea! it might be a while until im able to go thrifting (trying to save money and space lol) but i'm definitely adding that to my video list cuz i really like that honestly tho u should be a youtuber lol you have really creative ideas!
hey im trying to figure out what aesthetic my favorite outfit is. *Dark and muted blue jumpsuit almost grey *a white tank-top atop it that is a bit torn *a jacket that is black with pokets inside and out *a belt *black combat boots i think its grunge-ey but im not sure, your help would be wonderful.
It sounds grunge-y to me, but hey I'm no expert either tbh! It's always cool to have ur own style even if it doesn't fit into a specific aesthetic as well, imo 😎 sounds like a cute outfit !
that's a good idea! I'm not sure how I would go about it though- i'd feel weird critiquing real people haha unless i could find like popular trends and make it a little more vague
@@posergrave That’s a good point! I didn’t even think about critiquing movie characters vs real people 😅 The general trends sounds like a good idea though. Recently saw a cool video of someone trying a corset based off trends, so following grunge type style trends definitely sounds like a popular idea if you wanted to go that route :)
@@imperfectworldimperfecthum5015 ooo that sounds cool! i'll definitely see if i can find some, my for you page doesn't have much fashion bc i keep liking funny animal videos loll
For the love of god pleaae stop comparing actual goth subculture style to that of sexualized basic fasion trend E-girl (i get fasion envolves, but one alternative is about taking things and turning them into your stuff, egirl couldnt be more basic off the line cookie cut and shallow, it takes NO personality. Its like comparing scene kids to emo, its hard to tell the difference, but its obviously there.)
I know almost nothing about egirls, I am 26, so sorry if I misspoke in this video (don't remember what I said). but I certainly think scene kids are a valid part of the alt subculture- sure, it was trendy at the time but many who went through a scene "phase" are still alt today as adults. it was still a rebellion against the mainstream in its own way. Just because it was more popular doesn't make it invalid
I adore how positive you are towards the characters. There was no gatekeeping only positive vibes. Your whole energy is lovely too!
thank you!💞💖💖
Do Janice from Mean Girls, Clementine from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Edith from Ghost World !!
