Jen did the best in my opinion! She had just as many elements as Dave did when you think about the little details on her frog's outfit and staff
Maybe try building the model before choosing the paint. That certainly will end up in a few interesting results.
Loved your minis
My favourite by far was Jen I thought she had the hardest colour selection but still did a great job without cheating and had as many elements as Dave however the others where still great
I can't wait til you guys can safely do some Collabs with model makers around the world. This channel deserves to blow up and be seen by so many more.
I don't have 3D printer nor money for models, but still love making models in Hero Forge. Great it is very modular and you are not limited to preset races and easly can do even most mad idea like half-centaur, half-frog, with wings and horns and six tails.
Definitely a fun challenge. I liked seeing what three different people came up with, since most mini painting channels can't do that. You all had different approaches and they all worked. It is certainly a reminder of how much color mixing and planning ahead helps.
Using black and white in addition to the 3 colors makes this a 5 color challenge if you ask me

Great stuff - a suggestion for another time is to have an overlay with the "chosen" colours when doing the painting. That way we can see what is being worked with, since the memory can be fickle :D

After doing many 1 day painting challenges at the store seeing the speed at which Jen paints its crazy, she is a great painter.

I mean with 3 colors you can make a lot of things... When you actually, have the choice and are allowed to mix them.

Here's a tip you didn't ask for! Sorry! If you print your hero forge miniatures on the slot bases, you can easily snip them off before curing, and then rebase the miniatures on a base of your choice rather than the limited options they have on their site!

Out of curiosity, why do you start with a base paint of black? I always find light gray easier for colors to shine through and less overwhelming. Thanks for the great vids!😁

HeroForge is awesome, but it still lacks snake hair, cyclops eye, and slimmer/less bulky models.
Agreed, honestly all props to HeroForge with how vigilant they are with adding features and new items, but I would appreciate a few updates to the body proportions system. Not sure if it fits with their style philosophy but incorporating a bit more realism would be awesome. That being said it doesn't make a huge difference on the tabletop as they're so small :)

You also have white and black ? I am a bit disapointed that we don't see how the different colors were made, te mixes.. everyone should had its camera filming their process to see it, and by not making this each one could at least explain how they made the colors, if shey mixes the grey with the green here or there, etc

Every time I 3D print my charater, they die. 0/10 do not recommend.
For me the girl is the only one who really respected the philosphy of it by mixing colors, and not abusing white and black, the last one did the opposite but has an excuse for having too colours very similar and manage to abuse white and black to compensate the right way with non metalic medal so finall he also respected tje exrcice, but the second.. why this blue pur and pur purple when you could use mixes and the shirt just white and black mix.. for me he has to do it again.. this green is too green and unused.. it could be used more ocre to associate with purple or you could use ocre and purple not 50/50 and for the some clothes, each part of the clothes could have mixes, the weapon could be non metalic metal to compensate the blue purple problem..
Congrats to 1st and 3rd and BIG disppointment for tje second, do it again if you understand and agree.
