The only two good ovens on the market are travel buddy and road chef, the other Chinese knock offs don’t perform as well, the door vents are at the side and hold the steam in so you don't get the same crispiness also the heating element causes the base to bow up to the lower wire rack which can cause burning of what ever your cooking on the base, they also draw a considerable more amount of power.
Never used the other 2 mate so I can’t compare This travel oven works well for us and that’s all that matters If you want to supply me are travel buddy or a road chef to do a comparison I’m all for it.
@@GoneTravelingOZ not saying they don’t work, I just returned mine and bought the TB after seeing the difference between the KA and TB and it’s definitely better performer in my opinion, happy travels
Love ya kickass fridge too, we have 1 a 100 ltr kickass and it does just that too, thanks for the upload as im getting 1 4 my next week long road trip up to QLD from NSW. :)
Gday Steve, Thanks for the feedback!! Yeah i Love my Kickass stuff, its quality stuff backed with decent warranty Aussie Owned and doesn't brake the bank.
@@Warhorse469 Every component in the travel buddy is from China. I am not sure why some people are hell-bent on buying a product from an Australian company (such as Travel Buddy) that insists on buying all its components from China. If Travel Buddy is so Áustralian', then they should buy their components from Australian companies as well.
it'll heat up quicker with a 13.8v step up converter
Just had a read up in it definitely would help have you done this to yours? Easy job to do?

Is this made in australia like the travel buddy or is it a Chinese knock off?
The Company is Australian owned, Based in QLD id say they would have a few items made overseas but that would be standard to most company's in Aust
It's made in china with Chinese components, imo pay the extra $20 and get the travel buddy or $60 for the large version.
