Apricot jam is my favorite too. When my mom died, it took me nearly 2 years to allow myself to open the last jar of her apricot jam. Peach is a close second and yours is gorgeous.
I just recently found your channel in the last week and I'm currently binge watching everything from the last few years 😂😂❤ You have given me so much confidence and excitement as I begin canning and preserving for my little family. Thank you❤.
I ❤❤❤❤❤ Zucchini Bread Jam. I'm making Zucchini Relish again today, and gonna have another Zucchini Bread Jam making day another day. I've put up a few jars of jam but I do want some more of that delicious concoction. Yummmmm. Shred, shred, shred. 😎🌸
Stone fruit are my favorite! Yum! I use spiraled zucchini for noodles at least once a week. I freeze them spiralized. Just toss in a hot skillet with Italian seasoning for a few minutes. So easy.
I stopped by and visited that 1870’s homestead farm stand and one of the all amazing things I purchased was your deeeelicious peach jam and I was hoping that you’d share just how you make it! Thank you so much! I’ll be stopping by Block’s fruit stand on my way back up home!
My favorite version of peach jam has about two tablespoons of pureed ginger added just before boiling the mixture. It keeps most of the spicy kick and is quite lovely.
Thanks for sharing with us the complete process of making and canning chunky peach jam and peach syrup. I love that you can add other flavors and have different pleasant tastes in the peach jam. The zucchini bread jam sounds and looks amazing. Have a wonderful week!!
Watching this video makes me think that sometime this week I need to make my pear 🍐 jelly. I had saved all my scraps in the freezer. I had saved some of the juice that I had already done and it’s bagged and in the freezer I need to just go ahead and process that and make me some Jelly I love it.!!!.,I think I love it more than the preserves and the pear. Either way we’ve been so busy and this year I didn’t get any pears because we had did a big big big trimimg of the tree it was so overgrown. We had to cut it back a lot so they told me probably skip a year plus we had the hurricane that didn’t help so it should be next year. I should get some pears, but I saved so much juice and so much scraps. I can make me some jelly And put it on my shelves. I might have a few maybe two bottles left. I know I don’t have the jelly because wow it was my first time making pear, scrap jelly and it was so good 😋 I mean so good that we went through it quicker than the preserves and the jam and the pear butter so I need to see what’s left, but that was last year. It’s not that old it was just last year that I canned it and I’l have to think about doing peaches as well. I just stayed home. Worked on the garden. Started some seeds in the trays for fall, but I did make a really good batch of limeade, strawberry limeade, strawberries, limes, and it was so good. I think I made a half gallon. My husband doesn’t like lemonade but me and my father-in-law do and I still have some. I’ll have some for tomorrow, I even make limeade blueberry. That’s really good…. 🌱🌱
I love peaches, thank you for teaching this to us!! I’ve been enjoying all my visits with you. Appreciate you sharing your time! Ohhh, maple peach- sounds amazing!
I made peach jam for the first time 2 years ago and my favorite from the batch I made was the jam I made with the peels! Thank y'all for all you do to bring us awesome videos! May the Lord continue to bless you and Todd!
Peach jam is my very favorite jam. I still have to make some this summer. I did make some peach pepper jelly and used it to glaze some pork chops. My guys loved it.
I just canned peaches and peach jam last week. It is soo good.i used a very light strip. My daughter said it tastes like fresh peaches. I wish I had seen this because I thru them away.
We just made peach preserves. Didn’t know I could use the peels. It is so delicious. Another of my favorite jams is Muscadine grape, it’s a southern thing, but also very delicious! Thanks for this video.
I have used dollar general jars & other non named jars, I found it's mostly the seals that matter, the jars themselves work 100%. I don't have peaches & my significant won't consume anything peach. I know i can still make it for others. But you've encouraged me for my blueberries.
I had a bumper crop of tabasco peppers one season. I took a small portion of the peaches I had while processing and added puree tabasco peppers to it. It was spicy... Made for a great pork and chicken glaze. But honestly I enjoyed the zip on a PBJ sandwich.
Same here...love peaches but apricot jam is my favorite. The local peach farms near us lost almost all their crops this spring so I may not get to make any jam this year. Yours looked so beautiful...lucky farm stand customers!
Looks great, you always know when it's summer, it's time to can everything.. I have question what did you do with all the liquid/juice that was left in the bowl your peaches were in? Just hoping you canned that as well or used it somehow.
Hi Rachel. I have used my pressure canner to water bath can too but it drips water all around and makes a mess. Does yours do that too? It's a little early for peaches here in Nova Scotia, but won't be too much longer. Our yellow plums are just starting to ripen.
My peach tree not so good this year. I still have peaches frozen from last year I need to use. Rigth now the abundance of blackberries I have is crazy with not much freezer space. Just back to work after a bad fall broken arm and L3 L4 L5 lumbar fractures. I have researched many syrups. The amount of sugar varies greatly. What are your thoughts? Ty
What are the chances?! I was canning peaches today! I saved my pits and peels and plan on doing a peach jelly. I think I will flavor it with vanilla. Thanks for the idea! I also think I'm going to try Constance's zucchini bread jam. That sounds great!
Hello new to canning! why add the white grape juice and lemon juice (or in your case pear juice)? Does it help preserve it or just enhance flavor? Thanks for helping us newbies understand! Love your videos
Does using pure cane sugar have any issues with caning and it thickening right. When I made my mulberry jelly it wasn't thick enough to set. It's a great syrup like consistently. I followed recipe to a tee. Thanks for input. Nancy from Nebraska
I just realized after years of watching your videos and wondering who you remind me of....Melissa Gilbert from Little House on the Prairie. I was on her website and saw a picture of her.
Rachel!!!! I FINALLY get some pomanos and you use sure gel today 🤣 Also, do you think you could do the peels in the steamer pot for the juices? Or would this be better to boil in?
Hi Dear I find your video about Gelatine , I’m so happy with the video about Gelatine and I have a question do you have about collagen ,or Gelatine is it same With Collagen?, let share if you have receipe with collagen beside Gelatine, Thank you very much 🌷
You and your husband seem like wonderful people, but the nation is disintegrating before our eyes. You've made yourselves targets for the hungry and desperate masses when TSHTF. This applies to the thousands of other prepper channels on YT. Get out while you still have a chance.

I was the same with mom's canning. Food is memories. Fabulous heartwarming memories.

Love the long heat pads you have beside your canner , so handy .
One year I made a small batch raspberry peach and it was lovely
Stone fruit are my favorite! Yum! I use spiraled zucchini for noodles at least once a week. I freeze them spiralized. Just toss in a hot skillet with Italian seasoning for a few minutes. So easy.
Thanks, I’ll have to try it!
It nice to have time. Love retirement. Taking care of myself. Love from Virginia ♥️
It looks so delicious. I will be making some zucchini jam, too. Thank you for sharing

How funny, I made peach jelly today and canned a half bushel of peaches! It all looks delicious!❤

I am definitely ready for the peach jam!
It's time for me to make my yearly supply of peach jam and syrup. My son-in-law loves my peach butter.

I just finished my lunch of pb&j with some of my homemade peach jam. So good!

Looks yummy! 😋 We just had our first Zucchinis come in! 🎉 I made 3 loafs of bread and 2 batches of muffins. Can't wait to try some more recipes!

I'm making peach scrap Jelly with the scraps.
Me too! I freeze dry my peaches and make jelly with my scraps. Why I never thought to make syrup, I don't know!
Looks great, you always know when it's summer, it's time to can everything.. I have question what did you do with all the liquid/juice that was left in the bowl your peaches were in? Just hoping you canned that as well or used it somehow.

Blueberry rhubarb is in the works here today :)
Darn wish I would have seen this video 2 weeks ago. Canned 25 lbs of peaches and didn't know I could make syrup from the peels! Next time.
Do you have a video on the pear juice?
A teaspoon of butter usually stops most of that foam.
Does using pure cane sugar have any issues with caning and it thickening right. When I made my mulberry jelly it wasn't thick enough to set. It's a great syrup like consistently. I followed recipe to a tee. Thanks for input. Nancy from Nebraska
It. Hold have to do with the ripeness of the berries.
Rachel, how many pounds of peaches did you start with? Thank you for these recipes! They look amazing.
🌸🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌸
What is your technique for peeling the peaches? That jam looks amazing!
I just peel with knife
I just realized after years of watching your videos and wondering who you remind me of....Melissa Gilbert from Little House on the Prairie. I was on her website and saw a picture of her.
Really? I'll have to look her up
Can you use honey instead of white sugar in this recipe? Thanks :)
Hello Rachel
Have you considered curing drying meat? I would love a video on the subject.
Rachel!!!! I FINALLY get some pomanos and you use sure gel today 🤣
Also, do you think you could do the peels in the steamer pot for the juices? Or would this be better to boil in?
Nvm….you literally answered the steamer question AS I hit send on that question 😅
Zucchini bread jam? Is there a video on it? Is it an approved recipe?
Your vanila extract and zuchini jam recipes pls
Well you please share the zucchini bread jam recipe?
Hi Dear I find your video about Gelatine , I’m so happy with the video about Gelatine and I have a question do you have about collagen ,or Gelatine is it same With Collagen?, let share if you have receipe with collagen beside Gelatine, Thank you very much 🌷
We are in a heat wave here in Falkland BC Canada , week 3 of high 30’s to 41’ degree days . My AC thinks I am a stalker .
i made jalepeno peach jam for a fair
❤l
I make Million Dollar Relish with my zucchini.
Recipe?
I was using earbuds and the sound of sliding the jars across the counter was painful!
Sugar is too expensive. I protest the high price of sugar. I just got some coagulated honey!
It’s cheaper than sugar? That’s crazy!

@@cynthiafisher9907 Very good point.
All the peaches here in Washington State got frozen out during the bloom. 🥲🥲🥲
Not just peaches, apples and pears too 😭
Peach jam is my very favorite jam. I still have to make some this summer. I did make some peach pepper jelly and used it to glaze some pork chops. My guys loved it.
