  • There’s nothing like some delicious peaches in the summer. When fruits are in season, I like to take advantage of them. We are loving this peach jam at the moment. My favorite part about this peach jam is that it doesn’t have any pectin in it. I hope you give it a try.

    👩🏻‍🍳 PEACH JAM
    2 lbs. peaches
    1 ¾ cup white sugar
    1 tablespoon lime juice
    (Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes)
    Makes 3 half pint (8 oz) jars

    My husband love peach, i surely would love to make that one day..i tried grapes already and without pectin too it comes out perfect

    Looks so good Shirani. I made blueberry jam once but it never thickened. I don't know why because I went by the recipe.

      Thank you, Debbie! Hmm, I wonder why it didn't thicken. I've never had or made Blueberry jam before. That's something I would like to try.

    It looks delicious. Once I went to Belize and I bought a jar of apple jam. It was delicious, I didn't want it finish because in Mexico there isn't apple jam anywhere. I would like to learn how to make it

      You can only get it when the fruit is in season. If you can't get Maliapple jam, then ask for another Belizean favorite Guava jam.

      Hello dear! It could last up to a year in the pantry. Once you open it then you put it in the refrigerator.

    Thank you for sharing this. Using a metal funnel instead of plastic may be better as the jam is so hot. Just a suggestion

      Hello! Store the jam in a cool, dry place away from direct light. It could last up to a year but once opened store it in the refrigerator.

      You can use brown sugar. It will just change the taste and color a little bit.

      I boiled them for 45 seconds. It's not to cook them. It’s just so the skin could loosen up so it's easier to peel.

      @CookingwithShirani that, I have no idea, I tried blanching the peaches to peel them, that didn't work, but I have no idea why it got so thick

      I'm so sorry to hear that. I find that the peaches are easier to blanch if they are ripe.

      I forgot to say, I've noticed that they don't peel so well if you keep them in the refrigerator before using. Let me know how it comes out for you. Best of luck to you 🤗
