Watching this in London UK and can't believe how nice "the jungles" look. Was just googling how expensive the properties in this neighbourhood are and its insane. I thought London was expensive.
Baldwin hills is amazing.I remember coming to LA in 1973 as a kid and my dad had a cousin that lived in Baldwin Hill with a pool. Being from Chicago we never seen a build in Pool in our neighborhood. I think that when I first said I wanted to move to LA someday. I did some 30 years later. In 1978 a friend of mind family moved to Baldwin Hills from Chicago, so when I went their I stayed with them

Baldwin Hills looks nice, but all the homes, condos, and apartments look so old, and dated. Who would pay that much for an old house? Are there any new builds? Like brand-new luxury condos and houses? Would be dope.
Hey @kimberlymorton4690 a big part of the charm of living in Baldwin Hills is the nostalgia of mid century homes. There are not a lot of new builds in Baldwin Hills. Most of the condos are from the before 80s. There are quite a few homes that have been completely remodeled to modern contemporary architecture. Lots of people line up to buy those older homes. There's bidding wars. I bought one in 2001 in Baldwin Hills Estates. Guess what, that thing has plaster and lathe walls, in a lot of ways, it's built better than houses today. I looked at 70 properties prior to buying it.
