The tasks that you do in it like cooking hunting and crafting look a lot like green hell VR. Definitely excited.
This looks fun. I feel like it would be almost like living in Narnia, you go in to the "cupboard" and live your entire life out, only to take the headset off and be back to young again.
We've definitely made sure to add plentiful of immersive mechanics to help you escape the modern world for a little while 😁

Looks like a very well crafted game! My only concern is if there's a sense of progression. Like, is the game finisheable, and how long is it 🤔.
We have an adventure mode, with about 20+ hours of quests immersing you in your characters origin story and helping neighboring settlements, and there's a sandbox mode that grants you access to all the mechanics starting day one where the possibilities are endless ^^. Also once you're dead, you can continue nurturing your settlement with your heir!

Will the combat have physics to it. Like stabbing and slicing or is it more like Skyrim vr combat
Combat ain't main focus of our gameplay, as we've invested in having a variety of fun mechanics instead that've overal vibes of 'nurturing your own settlement with bits of adventure', so there's no particular slicing mechanic out there. Keeping it safe for the faint hearted!
Finally 😁 allready got 200hours in the original game been waitin for someone to make it into a VR 🥺

We're using Unity! The DevTeam is pretty busy right now with final touches, but I know they'd love to share more inside as some kind of Dev Diaries once they have some spare time

As of now you can only have one, that can inherit your settlement later on 🤗

Edit: OMG, I didn't know there already existed a flat screen version and the looks incredible. If you can do as much of the stuff you can do in that version in this version. I'm 100% buying this game!
Not all the mechanics made the cut, but ones that did are a totally immersive experience compared to flat screens kind of thingies. Tho we do love the flat-screen game! Did our best to translate its potential to VR

Honestly, the game looks great, the only thing that could be improved is the graphics, which could be much better in quest 3

@@spectralgamesvr That's it, the graphics aren't bad, but they can improve a lot, such as adding dynamic shadows, higher resolution textures, better effects, better lighting, I hope they think about making a good version for Quest 3 even if it takes a while to come out.

The game looks exciting to me, the gameplay seems good, it really makes me want to play. However, the graphics seem really outdated. I hope there will be a graphical update for the Quest 3.

We're working on having co-op available! But keep in mind crossplay with any flat-screen platform won't be possible due to Medieval Dynasty New Settlement being a completely new game with new map and storyline! ☺

@spectralgamesvr oh you're the game developers? Cool! It looks good. Any idea of a time frame for Quest 3 enhancements? I had a quest 2 and upgraded with Quest 3. I only buy Quest 3 enhanced games. I feel if I shelled out $600, I expect my games to reflect that. Otherwise, I would have just kept my Quest 2. Nothing against your game, but Meta upgraded a headset and wants everyone to buy it, yet they aren't making developers make their games Quest 3 enhanced from day one. Its extremely frustrating!
@@moibuspm we're a small team with a big dream of a medieval survival full of fun immersive mechanics, that's why we simply didn't have time to make the Q3 enhancements yet, but I believe they're high priority and might be available day one or soon after, we'll see!
What is the point of showing captures from the Meta Quest 2?
The point is that’s the most sold standalone headset and the basis for most of vr players. So it good to know how it look like on quest 2.
We haven't done the Q3 enhancements yet, so currently our game looks pretty much the same on both. We believe it'll be a noticable difference in visuals once we're done, so for now we're sharing how good the game's already performing on Quest 2 alone 😄

@@Erik-rd1tl It's also a flat game and not VR. VR is also not nearly as profitable as flat games due to the smaller audience and lower adoption rates. It's not profitable to spend as much time developing a VR game as it is a flat game. There are a lot of factors but it will get better just like flat games did as the industry moved forward along with hardware and software upgrades.
@@Erik-rd1tlthey look better at pathetic low resolution and framerate that have no place in VR. you need to pump those up and still render 2x screens at once in VR, so you can see why graphics need to be toned down. Even rtx 4090 fanboys need to tone down graphics to run their VR mods and that thing is the size of an electric oven and just as hot...

Meta Quest headsets, being standalone devices, have their limits. We're showcasing the game on Quest 2 which's kind of an older generation now that we have Quest 3 already, but Quest 3 enhancements that'd make a difference in visuals are in the making!

@@VRnamek lol i wouldnt say 10 years behind, its just a very different situation, they could totally put desktop power in a vr headset right now but it would be bulky, hot, and probably wouldnt run off battery, just like a desktop. Its just not a real comparison

Welp Quest doesn't require you to have a super expensive PC or playstation to use it, as it works on its own! And do keep in mind this was recorder on Q2, the previous gen, We're yet to make Quest 3 enhancements ^^
