For everyone struggling to get the bulb in and out: To get it out: There is a small metal clip holding the bulb itself. There is no use just janking it back it forth. This clip needs to get pushed in, else it wont come out. To get it in: There is a latch at one side of the bulb. It needs to point upward when inserting it. Just push the bulb in, until you hear the aforementioned clip click. Regarding the plastic cover: It should not be hard to get the clip onto it. If it's hard, the cover is not jet seated correctly.
Thank you very much for the video!! It helped me today immensely to change the bulb on my own. Very clear instructions which I was able to follow and also to adapt a few steps since the design of the air filter box and the way how the hoses were attached looked a bit different.
Danke für das Video:) LG grüße aus Deutschland kann man auch für das Baujahr 2006 bis 2010 nehmen als Anleitung! Thanks for the video:) LG greetings from Germany can also be used as a guide for the year 2006 to 2010!
I have found your video and it helped a lot thanks ! However i could (with some effort) wiggle my hands in between and do the right lamp as well, but without all the removal. Just opening up the little metal latch
@@JanSV i've managed to change the bulb, but at 05:28, that tube a couldn't connect to anything. didn't saw anything that it needs to insert that tube. i left it as it was. really hope it isn't a bad thing
Hi Jan! Is there a trick or specific way about how to take out the left side-old bulb itself? I tried some minutes ago but its super hard (as it seems to be strongly fixed) to take out. Any tips? Thanks!!
Hello, we still have this corsa. It is a good car. The car now has around 115.000 km i gues. The bulb in the trunk does not work any more (a fault in the lock of the trunk) and we had a problem with the fan in the car, that was a bad contact (easy repair, i have a video about it) . At this moment we have storm damage, buth that is not a problem with the car. A flagpole has fallen on the car. The 95PK is a plezant car to drive. If it has not to many kms i think you can buy a good car plezant to drive with. Be sure that the glow plugs are changed at about 100.000km. Greetings antwerp belgium
Corsa manual says Low beams are the outer ones and High beams are the inner ones. So you replaced the Low beam bulb (Low beam bulb is H7). Am I correct?
Many, many thanks. This is the only video I could found that shows the bulb change completely. Thanks a lot !

Top tip: Before attaching lamp cover or re-assembling air box, turn key in ignition and turn headlights on to check your new bulb is actually working.
Thanx for the tip.
You are king my friend, tried it today and was ready after only 20 minutes. You saved a lot of my free time, im very thankful ! :)

Do you know what is the electric connection to the air hose at 3:23 (yellow)?

Hello. If it comes out badly. Maybe it is good to push first and then pull. Succes
Do You still got this corsa? Is this ok car, dozou have any bigger problem? I will now buy ecoflex2012 95hp.

Thank you. My 1.4, 74 kW doesn't have connection at 5.27 minute
Thats strange.
Corsa manual says Low beams are the outer ones and High beams are the inner ones. So you replaced the Low beam bulb (Low beam bulb is H7). Am I correct?
Hello, that is correct. I replaced the low beam. The bulbs in the middle are the high beams.
@@JanSV So low beam is H7 and high beam is H1. I thought H7 was stronger bulb and so high beam: I guess I was wrong.

no need to do all that, you don't have to take the Filterbox out.
Any chance you can make a video on how that's done? Cheers.
