I suffered with plantar fasciitis for a long time because I went to a podiatrist instead of a Physio therapist. The podiatrist was actually dumbfounded and just rushed me in and out and sold me $150 inserts that I could’ve only paid $20 for! The inserts helped a little but didn’t cure the plantar fasciitis. So I went to a different podiatrist and she was actually helpful and taped my foot up and actually made a difference. She also suggested the physiotherapist, so I went to 3 sessions with the physiotherapist and she did massage like this and the plantar fasciitis was gone! 👌🏽

As a massage therapist I would love it if a client sent this to me with a message like “I came across this video & it looks like it feels so good! Would you be able to do that on me?”. Like Alison says in the video, it can get boring doing the same thing all the time. And if this is their first introduction to her videos, they should be thanking you for changing their world as a therapist because it will 🙌

Um, you aren't really looking at the obvious wear spots, calouses, bone rotations, or anything directly acting upon the plantar fascia. I've had plantar fasciitis, and as both a practitioner and as a prior chronic sufferer, you have missed the root cause or any area that would alleviate either tears to the achillies tendon or the plantar fascia. I recommend always working balance issues or foot issues with the client face up.
