Hi, Lanae! Yes, I did find your channel through Thai, and I left a note there about how your voice is refreshing and important.
I'm older than you, closer to Thai Rivera's age, but I see in you a maturity beyond your years. If there is one thing I want to see in the trans community is content about how we fit into the regular society, post-transition. The statistics say that transition actually doesn't reduce the number of trans self-endings. I think for so many of us, it's because we feel like transition will solve all our problems, like alienation, depression, trauma, living in fear, and it will give us the relationships we want. That's just not true. Transition is the start, not the end, and I wish wise women like you would speak to the younglings about how to approach transition as a stepping stone to happiness, not the endgame, and encourage young trans woman to strive for a productive life of contribution and love.

"We can disagree and still respect each other." Love this! I've really enjoyed channels like yours being willing to examine both sides of an issue without vitriol and hate. The only way we will all find common ground is through love and giving each other a little grace, which I think you exemplify in your videos. Keep it up!

Thank you for another sweet and wholesome video Lanae, with future content ideas all I can recommend is keeping grounded with real content, if you make any discussions based around the LGBT community, have facts and "receipts" to back up your info, cod that's the only way we can shut down the crazies/misguided, by just being honest about the truth. I wish the rainbow on the flag still represented inclusivity. Sadly, we've gone back to division and segregation. Colours for every gender, colours for every "race", now a circle? The point of the rainbow was to include everyone, not to form a hierarchy. The children think they know so much they completely forget the history that brought us here. Anyway, nice video. Glad Thai pointed out your channel.

I feel like most of us want to learn how to meet in the middle, or just respectfully agree to disagree about some things. I worry that the country is dividing more and more all the time, identity politics, politics in general… I recently went to a website trying to learn what all the different LGBTQ flags meant and it was so overwhelming. I wonder if all the groupthink and increasing tribalism is ever going to allow us to meet in the middle. I graduated high school in 1999. At that time (maybe it was my naive brain), I believed that we were overcoming all the barriers and becoming more united in vision for everyone. I hope we can all strive to build bridges where divides have formed. God bless.
