Very beautiful clean edges and yard. I honestly feel so much gratitude for the heart you have to reach out and help this dear lady. Shift work doesn't leave people much time to do necessary things as yard maintenance and you truly have a gift for blessing just the right person who can use some help. Edging and trimming are the proverbial icing on the cake when it comes to lawn care.
Absolutely love me a lawnmower man who cleans up clipping from the gutter and road. You're the real MVP.
I've seen 'professional' lawn services in the States leave clippings all over the street, or blow them INTO the street. I'd rather get a blower/vac and just vac it all up; keep it out of the sewers and off the sidewalk/footpath.
Yeah, I know right. My neighbours get a guy in once a month, so the lawn is pretty overgrown by then. And the lawnmower guy leaves their gutter full of grass clippings. Not a great finish

I like this. "Even if" this is a small front yard, it is that lady's whole world. You trimmed it up, figured-out there was a little planter bed AND took extra time to hand weed it. Enjoying this yard. The elusive utilities are findable, the lady loves her potted plants and now her whole yard is going to look extra sharp. Laughed at the rain, perhaps it help with blowing off any remaining ingrained dirt? Excellent work Tim and thank you very much for making time to talk to people and showing us what you are up to.

I always wonder what kind of grass that is. It looks like a cross between fescue and centipede. Those runners look thicker than any centipede that I have seen.

I decided to try mowing on a day when the sky looked somewhat threateningly gray. Get the mower out just in time for the first flash of lightning. Mower and I went back inside.
Getting into the little garden bed to ensure all the grass was gone was 100% top work make.

Haha at least with a decent amount of rain you can use the blower to move the whole puddle away. It's when it's damp but not soaked that the grass just sticks and won't move.

I notice you straight edge before you flat whip, I personally flat whip then straight edge . Great finish either way
What?? I once did shift work. Cut my grass, went out later and looked at it to discover I must have cut it in my sleep! I missed a few passes! DOH!
