I discovered TWOD a few months ago & I’ve been hooked. I’m convinced its the best band I’ve ever heard. Having said that, Its amazing to go back and see Adam this young & bright eyed. Its insane to think of the absolute masterpieces he would later go to create especially in A Deeper Understanding. ❤
I listen to this everyday! I was around when Pink FLoyd, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Neil Diamond, rock and roll of the early 70's. I like to think that I know original and fantastic music when I hear it. The last track in this video is absolutely perfect, it's on my best of all time music list!!
Breath-taking, brilliant performance, one of my favorite youtoube-videos. And a good radio-host. Please come back to Germany on tour, missed it the last time.
Seen TWOD live many times! I just can’t enjoy other live bands like I used to because they are so damn good! My standout gigs were at the Brixton academy! Simply amazing ❤️
There are very few artists that can reproduce a full album the way they did on a record, playing live. However I think TWOD does a pretty damn job, Adam really pushes every show to his max. I like the live recordings as much as I like the the original recordings.
To be sincere honest, I think Kurt couldn't keep up with the 'controlfreak' Adam Granduciel. Don't get me wrong I love Adam and I love his music as much as I do love Radiohead (imho these guys make the real music). But I've read a lot of interviews with Adam, claiming he expects everything to be perfect. Kurt makes a slippery every now and then (just check live gigs). Tbh I think he just wants to make music without having to feel bad about making mistakes.
Jan Eskildsen Well I have - not that often, but often enough to know how they sound. Yep especially through this performance they sound not THAT similiar - but a lot of the songs on "Lost in the Dream" have a little Dire Straits vibe going on. that's just my two cents.. peace out

I am so in love I can hardly stand it!! The chanting in the last three minutes is complete bliss. Just perfect.

@@jeremyeagar7719 Ahhhhhhh haha
A maze zing!
The instruments sound more vibrant here, but I prefer how Adam holds his notes longer on the original recording.

Me gustaban más en esa época que ahora 2017.
Excellence
I like....
hi Sam
Even better than in the album. Grateful Dead's heirs. Simply refreshing
hi Max
Michael Cera on drums?
Saw Kurt Vile in Dallas and the lead singer was his guitarist.....
verdad la voz de Dylan...
Hipster Dylan
+Ilham Maulana sounds great! oh wait it is
Excellent band, however in response to David H, who has edge, spunk etc, better try out Drive by Truckers.
Ted Mosby is that you?
No, it’s me Jimmy, Jimmy Fallon.
where can i find lyrics for "your love is calling my name"?
Today, many feel in the Secretly Canadian (Trucker).
AmEN
WHY Kurt Vile?????

Hey, a DJ and a band who don't mind talking about effects!! :D
it could sound like Dire Straits, right ?
No
Oh Yes, thats what i just thought!
OBVIOUSLY U have never listened to Dire Straits

Martin S I was listening to Lost in a Dream for the first time yesterday and said to a friend that it reminded me of Dire Straits. Glad I'm not alone.
Love this band. But at 1st thought they sounded alot like tom petty
I tell everyone its an electric sounding Tom Petty!
+Sam King Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan. they sound like many things
dont see it
not so bad
That's some tasty bass playing. Rest of the band ain't to shabby either.
Franz Kafka wäre begeistert.
