11:36 Charlie playing with the traditional grip like a jazz or fusion drummer. Shows he is a versatile drummer of a phenomenally talented band of multi-instrumentalists, who can rock out.
Much appreciated Bram!!... I could say so much!!!.. but wont.. thank you so much for this post... and they are brilliant.............. f'n brilliant... i discovered 'Lost in the dream' a way back there... note taken... better to get on it late than never :)
But, in all fairness, you can't expect to keep the crowd's attention for more than a few minutes at a concert like this. And in those minutes you have to wake them up. Meaning: LOUD, FAST, & LOUDER! Then faster, louder, and more faster (lol). Plus, engaging them is key, as well, like Freddie Mercury w/his improvisations, sing-a-longs, & clap-a-longs ala Radio Ga Ga. With that said, I know this is a different kind of band w/incredible skills, but a kind of mellow approach. They are super in their own way & are wicked talented. But when playing at this venue they've got to step it up, do their peppier tunes & leave the mellow for albums. IMHO, that is. Don't get me wrong, I Love these guys & wish this crowd appreciated them 1/2 as much as me! 😍😎😄😎

Love that version of In Reverse; gotta love 48:07-48:28. Though the acoustic version that they seem to be performing for the past few years is wonderful, this version has that raw edge that I love. All of the Lost in the Dream stuff has that rawness.
It gets me too, gives me chills every time. When I watched them live June 21, 2015, I literally had tears during that song. It moves me like not many songs do.
The rug is his magic carpet, you'll rarely see him playing a gig without it. I think in another video (guitar magazine rig rundown) he explains he used to work for a seller of fine rugs. He must have developed an appreciation for them.
Also have the Coachella gig, tried to upload it but it wasn't allowed. The setting and atmosphere at the Coachella gig is superiour but musically I prefer this one to all the other gigs I have from their 2015 tour.
Bram Lempers tysvm man for the amazing WOD live sets you uploaded. They totally deserve the acclaim they are finally being afforded imho. Thanks for helping YT'rs to appreciate their amazing talent.
