Congrats on the 400k, you deserve that and more! Honestly, I love listening to you narrate, you could read from a tax filing document and I would be sitting here listening at my desk, nodding "yes, yes" and mumbling "Tax exemptions....you're right...don't get too carried away with them....."
Thankyou so much, your support is greatly appreciated :)
😂 Good One, Totally Agree. I'll Listen To Him From Anything 💯

What a lovely way to thank us, your fans, for reaching 400K subscribers!! This extra long episode of Brief Case is fantastic. BC is still my favorite UA-cam channel of all time. I am grateful!
Thankyou so much Amy, it's nice of you to say that :)
😊
I like that you get straight to the point. No fluffing around. Always look forward to your stories. Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks for the feedback
Like a fine wine, Brief Case's Cases are just getting better and better. Keep up the amazing work BC. Well done on the 400k too.

I love what you do!
My father was an attorney and a judge. (He passed a year ago.)
We used to find all kinds of cases, stuff of which nobody's ever heard, or just completely forgotten. And discuss them from all angles. ( Turns out, there's not justice for all ). You're the only source that manages to find the likes and tell these stories.
Thanks for doing what you do 🧐
Thankyou :)
That sounds proper cosy, sorry for your loss. Looks like you gained a lot though, which is nice
@@w8m4n thank you for your comment.💙
My uncles and grandfather and great grandfather were both judges, one appointed by Theodore Roosevelt to the Oklahoma Territory. I had identical twin cousins that were both judges in Cumberland County, TN. I recall very spirited conversations at the dinner table, as my father was the only Republican in the entire family! 😁🙄
@@JoanTarpley-hx9sh
I really enjoyed what you wrote!
Read it twice and once again to my sister! And more conservative a republican was not to be found.. ( once upon a time ) be my father.
But, we converted him. Should you be of such persuasion or inclination, and having any republicans left, just idly hanging around, don't give up!
Wow! Louisa Collins had an excellent defense attorney for that time in history. I wonder if he became wealthy and well-known for his skill. 😊
The compilation of the "brief" stories, are great. 4 stories in one.❤
You deserve every single subscribers and more! I love your channel!!!
Thanks
I remember when you were a small channel! Kudos on the amazing growth!!!❤❤❤
Thank you :)
Wow, 400k and proud to say I've been here from the start. I'm so happy to see your hard work appreciated. We all love the old stories. I live for it. Not to mention, your voice is so sublime and drifts me off to sleep. Well done briefcase ❤
Wow, thank you!
This is so exciting!! Congratulations, Brief Case!! Edit to add: It was awesome!! If you're keeping a list of future compilation ideas, I'd suggest the "angel makers". I'd no idea there were so many cases from so many places until you enlightened me.
Great idea, thanks
Brief Case; the Maria episode, wow...that woman was truly a "Bad Seed!", thank you for another excellent compilation of tragic lives indeed!!!🙏😢⚖️🤔❣️

Case 2
I am happily surprised by the courts judgement.
Fair enough and enlightening verdict. 🎉Thankyou
Congratulations a great achievement.
Look forward to listening to your stories each week.🎉
Thank you so much!
Been waiting the whole nightshift to get home and listen to this ❤
Ok, pothead
What an awesome program. Thank you. In the first case, I could not believe the court system trying the poor woman over and over until they got a guilty verdict. That shows that corruption was around even then. All of the cases were quite interesting.
With Absolute Power comes Absolute Corruption. Thousands of years its been this way. We should all expect it now and learn to combat it.
I wonder if her second husband didn't murder the first husband after being offended.
THEN? Corruption is well known.
I'm so happy to hear this latest compilation. It's a long wait from Monday to Monday. Congratulations on 400K!🎉 You are my number one! ❤🇨🇦 Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadians. 🦃🍗
Thank you!
Congratulations, BC!! Thanks for all your hard work. Cheers! 🍻
Thank you!
Alexander Crittendon was a true cad. The same thing has happened all through time. So many times the "evil woman" gets all the blame and the philandering man gets little or none.
Pretty sure we all see he was to blame. How about Maria? Evil woman there. Men and women can both be evil. How do ya like that?
Laura is sad sad sad … why she was so foolish… Alexander was a womaniser and user… she allowed him destroy her life.

You are so welcome
All of these crimes were very interesting, and thank you for giving us such an interesting stories. As always, you knock it out of the park.!😊
First want to congratulate you on reaching 400k subs, you deserve everyone of them. And thank you for this amazing gift of over one hour of your 5 cases you researched and delivered to us, each was an amazing tale in itself, Not many channels make it as big and/or popular as your channel is but the brilliant and thorough research and your clear and precise narration makes each and every case you describe simply fascinating to hear and follow. If this was a tv show, you would win Emmy Award after Emmy Award for the work you do. Thank you again.
Not sure I would ever get an award but thanks for your support:)
I’m very happy for you! You deserve this! Congratulations 🎉
Thank you so much!!
Woohoo. Excellent, BC and, totally, well deserved. We love you. Thanks for the long episode. ❤🎉
I wonder if maybe you'd be interested in doing a complication on old crimes that inspired urban legends❤
That would be a very very cool video!
The reverend was guilty...poor girl
Funny how the woman is always the one at fault in these situations.
Nice idea, well buddy? A compilation that equals urban legends perhaps?
Wow! Once again, this is a very interesting montage! Congratulations once again BC!!
Thanks Dee
Well done, Brief Case. You've packed up everything neatly this time around.
Yay! Marathon! Congratulations Brief Case! ❤So glad to be on this journey with you. ☺

Great program 😬
it was nice to have such a long video from you today, thank you!
You are so welcome!
Thank you Briefcase for this compilation 😊
Congratulations Brief Case on reaching this milestone. Your channel is excellent and you deserve every bit of success for the work you put into your research and the care you apply to your wonderful texts. In regards to these cases, the one that left a most bitter taste for me was Maria Tarnowska's....just a horrid woman who did not get her just desserts.
Thank you so much
She must have had mad "skills" 😂😂
400K Very well deserved👏👏👏👏As always extremely well researched and narrated. You always treat each case with respect which is one of the things I love about your channel. The people who lost their lives either from murder or injustice are remembered through you. The social history aspect is something I really enjoy, but oh how easily a murderer could escape punishment and an innocent be condemned to hang. In todays world thank god for the development of forensic science.
Thanks Alison
It's always my favourite time of the week to sit back and listen to your cases. Thanks again B.C. This week's extra long video was a bonus.
Thanks for listening

Congrats on the followers! Love your work. Been watching since day one🖤
Thank you so much!!
As usual, you deliver the most compelling stories and do such a wonderful job. In the last case, I think it was the man downstairs with the two women. Once he heard the knocks on the floor he supposedly went out to check on the old lady but I think he killed her. It is such a shame that he got away with it. Congratulations on your 400,000 subscribers of which I am one.
Congratulations! I love your videos. No Monday is Monday without Brief Case ❤

Absolutely thrilled with this treat of a video. Thank you good Sir.
My pleasure!
6,000 British Pounds in 1928 is the equivalent of 464,875 British Pounds in today’s money. Not too shabby a payout in a legal system which did not allow for appeals. I enjoy your stories, and hope you carry on for a very long time!
Love love ur videos and stories ❤ no one can tell them like you ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much
Such interesting cases, as always BC. Thank you for your dedication to delivering well researched and respectfully presented cases

Thank you so much 👍👍. I really enjoyed this longer video 😄
I'm so glad!
Wow, I have to say you outdid yourself with five stories, and I was intrigued by each one. Every story had to do with jealousy., greed, lust, and of course murder. as usual the biggest one is society looking down upon you in a certain situation which as I said before was pretty sad because of different times and I believe it was even like that during the 1950s and possibly the 1960s. Sometimes when I listen to your videos, I close my eyes and try to think what it would be like to live during that time and I’m so happy that I never did. no amount of money can even buy you character or morality and I think with someone being poor being able to work in a household that has the finer things that one has never seen makes them a little vulnerable when they get the attention of a rich husband. Whether any of the people had money or not the ones that died that was the saddest part of all. Thank you so much for the five incredible stories and I hope you have a great week..
Bless🙏🏽
Thankyou London Sage
Beautifully done!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Congrats, getting closer and closer to the 500,000 mark. Great stories, well told, as usual.
Thank you very much!
Thank you very much for this fantastic content BC 🎉
Glad you enjoy it!
Congratulations on 400k subscribers!!
I only had time to hear one of the cases, Louisa Collins, and I'm befuddled as to how she wasn't acquitted after 3 hung juries. It sounds like a 19th century witch hunt to me. I'm not saying she was innocent, I'm saying the evidence didn't prove her guilt.
Love this channel!! I'll listen to the rest of them later! Cheers!
By the end of that story I was thinking that Louisa would have welcomed her death. Putting the poor woman out of her misery. The life offered to women was torture.
Arsenic was in so many common items back then, even the wall paper. Makes one wonder how many innocent people were convicted. Although the woman in question in this story seems highly sus, I don't believe they had a solid enough case against her beyond reasonable doubt.
She cheated on her husband then he “mysteriously” died n she married her affair… she 100% had a hand in her first husbands death even if she didn’t the second 😊
Married men never divorce their wives. Congratulations BC 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉 you deserve it. Love these old cases.
True.
Congratulations Mr Case!

Thank you. Very interesting and very disturbing how quickly and easily people were condemned especially women. It seems morals and character took precedent over evidence. The poor woman who was tried an astonishing 4 times has me speechless. I hope you continue to enjoy making these videos as much as your listeners do. It's one of the best channels on true crime. 🍷
