I follwed the instructions for removal of a radio, and they were precise and the most helpful set of instructions I have encountered on You Tube, Thanks!
Very good instructions. It's always a bit nerve wrecking removing interior plastic panels for me because the fasteners holding them are not the most durable. I thank you.
Took screenshots of this and sent to a friend adding an aux input to his 2005 Accord...worked fantastic. Take your time as he does, step by step and everything should be fine! Great resource!
That little tip you said about using your strength at the end to pull the radio out really helped. I was stuck not wanting to pull too hard on this thing and break it but I see that's how it's supposed to be done thank you.
I am so glad I found your videos! I got a used 2005 Honda Accord and a month after I got it the radio started acting crazy. I'm going to try to replace it myself cause everywhere I take it is talking thousands to fix it.
Do you have a video on installing a new updated radio to the same exact generation Honda? Also what if you just want to add the aux adapter? Thank you! Very good video.
This was the 1st video I clicked on and was not disappointed 😊 I have a question tho...I have a Pioneer Blutooth deck I want to replace the stereo with(this is my 1st time installing anything in a car & I have front & back speakers to do plus an amp & maybe some other crap)do I need to disconnect the car battery after I remove the stock radio? I electrocuted myself when I was 2 by sticking some tweezers into the light socket, so I have a little bit of ptsd when it comes to the possibility of getting shocked😅😅thanks again for your help and the straight to the point instructions. 🎉
My bf car has a high pitch humming noise coming from his audio. He has a 2007 Honda Accord with the audio and navigation. We’ve put in the codes and they are correct but the high pitch humming noise is back. No radio/music at all. What do you think is going on? And how can we fix it?
Kris Melnick I do so many 2003-07 Honda Accord Radio’s and the factory radios they put in those cars in those years are defective. Just purchase you an aftermarket radio and do what’s suggested in this video. Your navigation will still work just the audio will now all come from the aftermarket unit.
Fantastic, but did not found answers I was looking for :) I have issue that sometimes entire front sound is interrupted and deaf (left and right), rear keeps playing. It happens when I hit road bump so loose wire/plug probably. I did not found anything. Any ideas?
My 2007 honda accord ex-L navagation system stopped working n my car needs to be running about 2 min b4 I can use my touch screen.tells me ignition must be on b4 using but ignition is has been on..I purchased a new radio that fits my car n has all the same controls as my stock including dual air control..do you think this would fix the ignition must he on message n the navagation should work since it's a new radio with built in navagation..
Good morning Sir! I have a radio same as in the video on my accord LX but is broken. Then i had bought another one oem but i think is for EX model same year and it has dual climate controllers. Can I use that one in my car? I just wonder since is a dual climate controllers thank you! Great video👍🏾
No sound what so ever for most of the time. Ever now and then it works but very seldom does it work. I think it might be a that it’s not grounded properly. Any suggestions?
thanks for this video! my 07 accord lx stereo stopped working and im thinking of replacing it with an aftermarket one. are there any in particular you recommend?
I just bought a 2003 honda accord EX-L V6. the radio shows the display but no sound at all. they screens show the cd discs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 on the top of the screen, but i tried to eject cds, but nothing coming out, i tried to put one cd in but it doesn't go in. what aftermarket radio upgrade with navigation would you recommend to replace this crapy 2003 radio?
Is it common for the radio to turn off and on its like if there is a short in it but the fuses are good and radio to .. But every now and then it just shuts off..and it will turn on by it self at times
My 2004 Honda radio wont turn on...it actually turns off and on by itself...i tried to get it replaced at a few car stereo shop but they just shake thier head and say they don't want to touch it...one car stereo shop just added another radio underneath it.
Oh ya...then my new radio got disconnected from a mechanic because my battery was going dead every day...i think he was wrong...i got to get it plugged up again since i just got a new battery
@@willyjoerockhead I was having this battery problem as well, after much research it turns out a tiny fuse in the factory radio is often the culprit, about to remove the power to the factory radio myself to try to fix the problem

Willy Joe Rockhead the 2003-07 years are know for bad radios. What brand is the one that’s underneath?
