How dose that max AC button work on the new Raido you put in the old one has its own button for max AC. But the new android one you put in dose not have a Max AC button so how dose it work?
Hi, the max ac button on the original radio did 3 things: set fan speed to max, set temp to min, and turned on the recirculation. On the new radio, you have to set each of these individually to get the same thing, ie press the ac button (if not already on), press the recirculation button, rotate the temp knob to minimum, press the fan up button to max.
Note for everyone, when removing the top part the soft touch material honda used on the upper dash is so soft that if you deform it you will never get it back to before. It's better to just pry from the bottom and not the sides at all. You can see he annihilated his dash.

Great tutorial! Very helpful! I heard these Amazon radios will start having problems with Bluetooth and the AC after a month or two. How did yours go? I want to get one for my 03 accord, but I don't want to waste my time and money
We did everything right by the book, & video. But when the car is off completely, we’re still connected to it via Bluetooth. And now the car dies a lot. Is the radio the problem?
I’ve had the same one for a good minute now maybe about a year and a half, it’s great don’t get me wrong definitely worth it and I LOVE it. But the only things wrong that I’ve experienced are pretty damn annoying, the A/C glitches on mine. It’ll glitch on and off and it’ll change the settings on its own. Then, sometimes the Bluetooth connects but doesn’t want to play the music. Lastly, it loads pretty damn slow😂small little annoying things but overall I’d still buy it again.
I have the normal working radio where it shuts off the minute you drive and does all kinds of things. I really appreciate this since I need to buy a new one and had no clue how or what to get.
Noticed on Amazon reviews some people said they were having issues with the ac controls not working Also some people said after a short period of time the unit died. Any longer term users?
So I notice 1 thing. The current OEM unit in thr Accord is not a dual zone. The new Android unit is a dual zone. From what I have researched. Some units will not work withthe AC. You will need to check the Honda Accord forums to see if you can change some options on the unit.
Hi Reza, You're right. I bought my radio before the change, so it worked for a single zone. The good news is that the current version of this radio works with both single and dual zone: amzn.to/3RSLkSv If you have a single zone climate control vehicle, and the AC is not working, contact: support@ezonetronics.com And they will send you an updated board to make it work!
how in the world did you find one with everything for your model car, I can never find one that just replaced my stock knobs for everything else like you did for my 2008 Nissan maxima
Have the same radio but I can’t get my a/c to blow out of any other vent then the defrost no matter what setting I put it on. I’ve updated and made sure it’s on the right Canbus setting too. Still no fix.
This aftermarket radio is good for dual AC car models. I have installed on my accord with single AC and it always trouble in using AC. Never gets cooling as factory unit does.
I installed a similar unit into my 09 accord, everything works with the touchscreen, as well as my amp and sub. My only issue is my climate control lights and clock stopped working. I also installed a pioneer cd player, just because the Chinese touchscreen does not sound good w my sub. Not sure how to get my lights back, all fuses are good
But there is one problem in screen cover buttons light don't work while parking is on.we can't see the ac,fan, lights.and also temperature can't seen on screen.please help
The first I installed on 2003 accord sedan dual climate control work like a champ, but a couple days ago I got another for a 2005 accord coupe single climate control and the air mode function look work fine on display, but the air never came out from the correct direction
I have and 05 accord hybrid, my concern is the ac system it’s tied to the radio. Had it fixed already, but can I still install and after market head unit
@@PracticalMechanic so finally installed and works great but now my car is blinking its turn signals when its supposed to be off, did i do something wrong or do i need to change something within my car rather than the radio being the problem?
T'eyes makes a head unit like this one with 6GB of RAM (with either 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of ROM) and some pretty cool features. It is pricey, so depending on your budget you may just wanna go with this one, or even an Xtrons unit which also seems pretty good. ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT. If your Accord comes with the large GPS navigation screen unit, or is a diesel model, I don't think these aftermarket units are compatible. Just be safe and look in the product description or contact the seller if you're unsure.
so the wires for the front cam and stuff don’t work? i was confused when i first bought my accord i didn’t know what those wires were hanging behind my radio
That pigtail of wires is for other accessories you can add later such as a backup camera, and etc. There is a list of what those are all for, in the video description. If you don't add any accessories, then yes, they will just exist there and not do anything.
Nice walkthrough. Anyone else have the experience of installing this unit and then it suddenly stops working ? That’s what happened to me. Had it for a year and a half
You had single ac and you went back with a dual ac unit .how did that work? I have a single unit in my car so I'm interested in buying a radio like this

How can I put this android 10 tablet on sleep mode. It’s draining my car batteries please help. I have this same model and I can’t find the sleep setting.
Hi I have Honda Accord LX 2004, single climate control unit. I have tried two units, one from awesafe which gave no sound, second one from Junsun in which fan/ac worked for a day and then it wouldn't work (radio worked). Is it my luck or these units are hit or a miss, or do you recommend any.
Does the ac and all that still function properly? Dumb question, but I wanted to be sure. Some of the other types of displays have the buttons, but they don't function.
Lol... Just seeing this video 2 years later. 😂. Anyway thanks for the detailed instructions on how to install. So, I have had it installed on my Honda Accord 2004 for over 3 years now. However , recently, it started misbehaving by rebooting repeatedly and continuously. Could you suggest any help?
Oh no! On mine, there is an app called "SW Learn." (Steering Wheel Learn) Using that app you can program which of your steering wheel buttons does what. My car doesn't have audio buttons on the steering wheel, so I haven't been able to try it personally. If you have that app (or one like it), try that. Good luck! 👍
wow, my radio went on my 2004 honda accord about 5 years ago, only the clock works.... i ended up taking it to best buy to get a new radio, only they left the existing radio and installed the new radio below the old one...
I notice the original radio only has 1 HVAC control knob where the replacement has dual HVAC controls. Do the dual HVAC controls on the new radio work like they should?
This radio doesn't convert a "single climate control" vehicle to a " duel climate control." If the car is dual to begin with, each knob controls a side. If the car is single, the left knob controls climate, and the right either does nothing or does the same function as the left knob. Hope it helps
Try adjusting the canbus settings. It requires a different selection based on which model Accord you have. Here are some instructions: ua-cam.com/video/a_RYZagnNxE/v-deo.html
@@PracticalMechanic thanks will try tomorrow. I have a 2006 honda accord single ac . Had installed at a shop and now rear defrost doesnt work everything else is working.
Hi I have the same operating system as yours everything is working fine with my unit but one problem I have the window defrosting doesn't work. On the weekend I put the factory unit back just to test and the window defrost worked worked perfectly. But when I installed the Android unit the window defrost doesn't work. So can you please help if there any way to get this issue fixed.
what about the steering wheel controls. Do they all still work with the android? for example Voice commands, different functions. Changing radio gps usb and bluetooth? or are all the controls on the steeringwheel no longer useable?
Hi @StevenDaniels, the Android radio has a function (called SW Learning) in the settings to learn and map the steering wheel buttons. You press the steering wheel button, then select which function you would like that to be. My Accord does not have steering wheel buttons (other than cruise), so I cannot use this feature, unfortunately, so I cannot tell you how well it works from personal experience, but I have heard of other people using it successfully. I don't know about voice commands... By the way, it sounds like your Accord might already has navigation. If that is the case, this radio will still work for you, however it does not fit perfectly in the opening, so you will have a small gap at the top. Just want to make you aware of that in case you have an Accord with factory navigation. All the best!
When I see these on ebay, there is a disclaimer that they won't work with digital amplified systems. Did all models (accords) have these systems, and how could you tell. If so, can you bypass?
Not sure. One thing to try checking is the AC relay, in case it got blown during the install. ua-cam.com/video/86mOHxHwGiQ/v-deo.html Sometimes that can happen if the battery is not disconnected prior to installation.
I have installed a Junsun Android (with Android version 13) Radio in my diesel dual cab and it came pre-set with IGO Navigation. I don't prefer the music to play very loud when I am driving in urban areas but I am trying to get the audio navigation/directions to be louder than the radio volume because I have the radio volume on low. I have increased the navigation audio volume in the IGO navigation app settings to 100% and the radio /media on silent when the navigation audio is on. But I cannot get the navigation audio volume to be louder than the radio audio volume. I really need some advise on this please.
Hello, this is a silly question but I have a Honda accord 2005 model and I was wondering if this would work for my car as well. The layout looks exactly the same as yours but has some slight differences. Another question I have was how are you travelling with the device now, does it keep its quality up?
It should work for 2003-2007 Honda Accords. Diesel cars, and cars with original navigation systems, it won't fit. Mine is still working great! Good luck!
Don’t forget to test out the radio before you pit everything back together. It’ll he a hassle something didn’t work and you have to remove everything again

You just raised the value of that car. Then again these days a full tank of gas will do the same thing.
Should you/we check the unit working or not before finalizing the installation? Thanks for this awesome work.
Yeah, that would probably be a good idea. Thanks for watching!
I have the normal working radio where it shuts off the minute you drive and does all kinds of things. I really appreciate this since I need to buy a new one and had no clue how or what to get.
Sounds a bit similar to what my original radio was doing, as well! Glad you found this video, and hope you get it figured out! Good luck! 👍
Great video. Thank you. You made the installation so much easier.
Great to hear! Thanks for the feedback! 👍
Great vid! I’m trying to take out the screws under the radio but it seems i need to take out the storage cubby. How did you take it out?
Thank you so much! I recently bought an after market Android head unit this video has been really helpful
Excellent! Glad to hear that!
Noticed on Amazon reviews some people said they were having issues with the ac controls not working
Also some people said after a short period of time the unit died.
Hi Reza,
You're right. I bought my radio before the change, so it worked for a single zone. The good news is that the current version of this radio works with both single and dual zone:
amzn.to/3RSLkSv
If you have a single zone climate control vehicle, and the AC is not working, contact:
support@ezonetronics.com
And they will send you an updated board to make it work!
how in the world did you find one with everything for your model car, I can never find one that just replaced my stock knobs for everything else like you did for my 2008 Nissan maxima
How is the dual climate control working so far? My car is like yours with mono controls to begin with. Does it work as intended or is there an issue?
I don't even own a Honda, still watched the whole video
😂! Thanks for watching, @Nyu! All the best to you!
Deserves a sub👍very clear instructions on this. I just got my first car and it’s the same exact one in this video.
Awesome, thank you!
Would this work with the 2004 honda accord ex with the big screen radio??
Is that the Accord with the factory navigation system? If so, no, I don't think this radio will work.
Does this also work for right hand drive cars? Thank you
Have the same radio but I can’t get my a/c to blow out of any other vent then the defrost no matter what setting I put it on. I’ve updated and made sure it’s on the right Canbus setting too. Still no fix.
This aftermarket radio is good for dual AC car models. I have installed on my accord with single AC and it always trouble in using AC. Never gets cooling as factory unit does.
I would contact support@ezonetronics.com
They will send you whatever you need to get it working.
Why isn’t my a/c control not working?
Great video! Super straightforward and to the point
Thanks, @Blurrble!
Gotta appreciate this video man!
Thanks!
I installed a similar unit into my 09 accord, everything works with the touchscreen, as well as my amp and sub. My only issue is my climate control lights and clock stopped working. I also installed a pioneer cd player, just because the Chinese touchscreen does not sound good w my sub. Not sure how to get my lights back, all fuses are good
Awesome, the difference between a used car and newer models is the stereo "entertainment center"
Yes, that is true! A new entertainment center can take 10 yrs off you car!
I appreciate the comment, and please subscribe!
Amazing tutorial but is there another of changing the radio to better one that is not touch screen?
How do you get to the screws under the radio if the covey is still there?
On mine, I had to remove the cubby/cover to get at those screws.
Could try changing the CANBUS setting. It needs to be set to the correct model of car.
@@PracticalMechanic thanks
I have and 05 accord hybrid, my concern is the ac system it’s tied to the radio. Had it fixed already, but can I still install and after market head unit
would this work for the 2003 honda accords?
Yep! 2003-2007
I think it would also work on my 2001 accord Euro....basically any cl9
Thanks for the tips, @TakeNoShift!
How much will it cost for installation if I bring to the shop ?
so the wires for the front cam and stuff don’t work? i was confused when i first bought my accord i didn’t know what those wires were hanging behind my radio
That pigtail of wires is for other accessories you can add later such as a backup camera, and etc. There is a list of what those are all for, in the video description. If you don't add any accessories, then yes, they will just exist there and not do anything.
@@PracticalMechanic ok thank you! definitely gonna add those accessories
Wish you would show how to modify the irritating pezieo beeper to be less loud.
Nice walkthrough. Anyone else have the experience of installing this unit and then it suddenly stops working ? That’s what happened to me. Had it for a year and a half
No way it's that easy,Awesome
Thank you!
You had single ac and you went back with a dual ac unit .how did that work? I have a single unit in my car so I'm interested in buying a radio like this
Hi Omar, the unit I originally bought and show in this video, worked with either. Now the latest version also works with either single or dual.
This is the link for the latest version of the radio (which also supports CarPlay and Android Auto):
amzn.to/3RSLkSv
How can I put this android 10 tablet on sleep mode. It’s draining my car batteries please help. I have this same model and I can’t find the sleep setting.
My AC buttons don’t illuminate that bright is there a way to fix that
So what do you do about heat and air?!
Hi Elliott, on mine the ac works great.
Installed the exact radio into my 2006 accord euro, everything worked great. The only problem is, I've lost my steering wheel controls
Yes, that is another option.
How do I see my climate ac and the heater degrees 🤔 on the screen??? Please help??
I have a wire that says do i ground it or not I’m concerned if it gets short circuit you know
I notice the original radio only has 1 HVAC control knob where the replacement has dual HVAC controls.
Rear defroster stopped working after i installed any ideas ? Thanks
Try adjusting the canbus settings. It requires a different selection based on which model Accord you have. Here are some instructions:

@@PracticalMechanic thanks will try tomorrow. I have a 2006 honda accord single ac . Had installed at a shop and now rear defrost doesnt work everything else is working.
I’m having issues with the climate control panel. Please any advice?
Great video. How is the radio doing now?got a 07 accord and wanted change the radio?are all the buttons working?
Hi! The radio and it's buttons are all is still working great.
Good to know. Thanks much for the info Sir.
By the way,are you still using the control buttons in the steering wheel?
My Honda doesn't have steering wheel control buttons, but you can map your buttons to the radio in settings. Good luck!
@@PracticalMechanic thank you Sir.
Awesome video! Just wondering, does the new radio also add dual zone climate control, as the new one had it while the old radio was single zone ?
No, you still just have single zone.
Thanks for the great instructional video. Do you know if there’s an Apple CarPlay version of this radio?
Hi, thanks for the feedback!
To install Apple CarPlay, you need to connect this radio to a separate dongle, such as this one:
amzn.to/3CpcRn4
@ERM2K8 UPDATE: The latest version of the radio includes CarPlay without the need for a separate dongle. Check out the description for a link.
Great Video! My only problem is my ac wasn’t working even after I plugged it all in, any ideas as to why its not working?
Same
Not sure. One thing to try checking is the AC relay, in case it got blown during the install.
ua-cam.com/video/86mOHxHwGiQ/v-deo.html
Sometimes that can happen if the battery is not disconnected prior to installation.
Good luck!
Wow great video with step by step instructions.
Thank you, @Arnie! I appreciate the feedback!
Don’t forget to test out the radio before you pit everything back together. It’ll he a hassle something didn’t work and you have to remove everything again
It works before I put everything else back on, then I tried it again afterwards and now the stereo has no power lol
