Intarsia Project 3 Fitting

Initial fitting of the many pieces together to make the project. Includes preparation for cutting a name into the piece using inlay techniques.

Hi Tony,
I sure wish you showed the steps you took when you scrolled sawed the bear's name. It's still a mystery to me on how that aspect of the project was accomplished. Awesome project.

Thanks - Actually that was a bit of a cheat. I cut the name using a #1 blade. I thought of doing inlay, but couldn't cut inlay that small. So I just filled in the cut name with a light colored wood putty. Make sure the putty fills all the way through the board. Sand it smooth when it hardens and finish it like every other piece.
