    I was counting your fingers to confirm you are a legit carpenter, and you are. 🤣 I will send you a picture of my carpenters 2 uncles and my father, all of them have chopped ones.

      Great information. Thank you very much. I really thought I was the only one who lost pieces to the sanding mop. :-). Your videos are wonderful and deeply appreciated. Merci!

    Excellent work Tony. Can you tell me what chuck you used on the porter cable grinder? I just bought one the other day for this purpose. Thanks!

      I got the one I'm using now, from shopsmith -- www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/catalog/dr_chuck.htm. But they have them at Grainger and McMaster Carr, also.

    Quick question about how the chuck attaches to the shaft. It looks like the chuck attaches with a set screw, does that set screw hit the threads on the grinders shaft or the smooth part of the shaft? Thank you and you do beautiful work.

      The chuck comes from shopsmith ( shopsmith.com ). It sits deep enough on the shaft to miss the threads.

    Nice video. Where you get the different color pieces?

    • @tgiro01
      @tgiro01  7 років тому +1

      Wood suppliers all over. It takes domestic and foriegn woods to get all the colors. Wood workers shows usually have suppliers selling.

    Hi Tony could you please tell me the model number for that PC grinder. I love the variable speed and have not seen another with this feature.

    • @tgiro01
      @tgiro01  6 років тому

      Actually, I bought those at Lowes. And Lowes no longer has them. Lowes now sells Delta grinders. If you look close you'll se that it is the exact same grinder with the Delta label instead of PC. -- www.lowes.com/pd/DELTA-Delta-8-in-Grinder/50150072 .
      If you lived close to Waynesboro, PA I would sell you one of my PC's. I recently swapped one of them out for a Rikon slow speed.

      Hi my name is Terry. I was wondering how did you install the chucks on your bench grinder and what size and make are they also thread size?
      Thank You
