Thank you for your video. It was quite helpful and informative. It was nice to find out about the HT tools as well and seeing your own work in the background, proves your option ideas are definitely worthwhile.
Thanks for watching. I think it's great for roughing in shapes and detail work. Between burrs, sanding mops, sanding drums, and diamond bits you can do a lot with it and it doesn't get hot like the smaller rotary tools I've used.
You going to have a long live, there are a lot of ppl like so happy to find an very instructional video like this, it was beyond what I was looking for…
Very informative, I also have just gone into Intarsia, I have been scrolling for some six years now, and think I have the skill leval to move up to this next level. I intend to use Pine & paint, then I intend to start using different coloured woods. Thank you for the video, very much appreciated. Roy in Australia.
Have you tried using one of those inflatable drum sanders? You can get one for the drill press fairly inexpensively. I enjoyed seeing your techniques for the other sanders. Thanks for the informative video.
very informative, and a couple of your suggestions I hadn`t even considerd but I will now. My problem is I only have a smallish shed (10ft L x 8ft w) so I`m getting more & more limited in what I can add otherwise I`ll be climbing over tools . Plus,I have two cats that live in there also ,and They keep complaining about the space in there diminishing all the time .LoL
Could be intarsia or segmentation depending on how you select and cut the wood. Shaping techniques are pretty much the same. Did you make it on the scroll saw? Thanks for watching!
I am interested in what brand scroll saw you use and what types of blades is best for intarsia. I tried making the deer head one year but it looked terrible.
I use a Jet 22" scroll saw and usually use #3 or #5 pegas MGT, olsen PGT, or flying dutchman ultra skip reverse blades. Intarsia is hard with both the cutting accuracy and shaping details needed but it just takes practice.
@@ScrollSawCorner ..... and German subtitles rarely work on UA-cam. Not at all here either. Unfortunately. UA-cam makes English subtitles for an English video ......

Nicely paced and very informative presentation. The Carver/Grinder is yet another tool I have to add to my wish list.

Thanks for this informative video. I'm just getting into scrolling and found this content useful.
I'm glad to hear that, James. Thank you for watching.

Excellent video. Thank you for sharing. Do you sell the patterns for the projects you have on your wall???
Graet Video Sir! Do you have any videos on making the downdraught table
Very helpful video. Thanks so much!
Do you pack spacers , to raise pieces up.
Wood carving can also help. Too much sanding, may lead too plastic artwork
Great video, thank you. Where do you get your bits for the Harbor Freight grinder & the sanding mops?
I got the set of carbide burrs from Amazon, diamond bits from Peachtree woodworking supply, and sanding drums from Amazon

There are always more tools to consider! I find myself reducing the selection as I get further into my craft.
Good Video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching
Great video
Cool video I just made a sign but didn’t know it was called that!

@@ScrollSawCorner I did it on the scroll saw it was an airborne sign
@@poultonprojects that's great, I'd love to see that. Did you post it anywhere? I just had someone ask me about making an airborne sign this week.
@@ScrollSawCorner yeah I am on UA-cam and Instagram
I'll look for it!

What is your source for sanding mops?
The wood river ones from woodcraft seem to work well and aren't terribly expensive. I think you can also find them on Amazon.
Is there a link to the deer pattern
It's a Judy Gale Roberts pattern and can be found on her site intarsia.com
The ducks is perfectc!
Thank you! I enjoyed that project. I have another video on that project in my history.
I need one of these Deer omg!!
Hi!
Scroll saw vs Cnc machine? I find a lot of creators over investing in Cnc machines when they could do the same with a big fraction of the money.

It's a shame that the video isn't available in German.😟
Unfortunately English and Spanish are all I can do!
