@@anapple6912The difference is that “I’m sorry, for touching you.” isn’t grammatically correct. There’s an unneeded comma in the middle of the predicate.
@@anapple6912 it becomes a different sentence and takes whole new meaning depending on if there is or is not a comma. For example when you list things you use commas to say each individual thing and doesn't allow words to mix together into a phrase
@@coolside8593 That doesn't apply to this sentence though. With the comma it's grammatically incorrect but still would have the exact same meaning as the sentence without the comma there. A correct example would "'I've screwed up, Jack" - with the comma there it means that you're telling jack that you screwed up. Without the comma it would mean that you screwed up Jack lol. This could imply you knocked him out, or did something else to him.
I love the moment where Sam, in the POV-Clip, learned something new and you can see when it clicks and he realizes that! It's so cool seeing this even in well established artists. Cause remember we all never stop learning. Keep it up ya'll ♥

Damn if I ever imagined I'd find some trace of me on UA-cam. I'm glad my fire tutorial came in handy for a lot of people! I usually struggle at explaining how I do stuff artistically speaking, since I've been drawing for so long and sometimes things feel 'obvious' to me. Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work 🖤
I love the discussion about accuracy vs story I recently realized I was fixating too much on getting correct anatomy/perspective/etc. but I stumbled across a gesture drawing video and that really helped me draw more freely and start exploring full body poses without overthinking. They’re definitely messy and imperfect but I love it a lot more than what I was struggling with earlier ❤ Also bc I mostly self teach it’s helpful to work on what I find more interesting in the moment so I improve while still staying connected to why I love art in the first place 😊
JADOKAR OH YESS!!! THAT GUY IS SO GOOD!!!!! He has some real good tutorials, and if you want something fun and energic to watch this is your guy lol, he has sooo nice energy... one of the first artists I started watching!

It was nice learning about it, new (not so new cause it was a while ago lol) fancy word acquired lmao
the "its not the tools its the artist" is accurate as hell i started drawing on old lined scrap paper with a basic pencil I found n my desk from who knows what. God has posted again🎉 thanks for your videos Sam, I’ve been watching for videos for years now as a little art baby, you were the one to inspire me to get better at drawing❤
5:25 huh, thats actually the first time ive seen kenton actually straight up change thebpainting, he's usually pretty good about keeping the integrity of the original piece, maybe an old video, idk
@@Plushinfernalii well, that is an easy mistake to make, especially if you have no prior knowledge about the character Which this guy never fucking has lmao
With drawing realistic portraits, I find most beginners focus too much on lines and outlines instead of values. I would recommend trying to draw portraits with only blocks of shading instead of doing a sketch first.
lol. i love uncle Sam's reaction 3:27 he looked so amazed and 3:37. His reaction looked from beginner artist who watched a yt tutorial and skipped studying anatomy and went straight to drawing portraits without simple knowledge about structures 😭🙏
So, a few things i would mention: I think that people asking what tools other artists use, it's a good thing, maybe cause some starting artists or people that learn can't find their right tools and loose a lot of time undecided, and even end up demoralized when they see other people's "cleaner" works. And as for the gentleman correcting that portrait, he probably should understand that not every head follows the loomis method and proportions.
I am super new to digital art, so ofcourse i am following his tips and from some other random videos. It's just my POV but like can we ( traditional artists ) just draw something on paper in our style and then just use it for tracing, Of course it's better to draw directly but it would be great for practice, isn't it !?
