In college, all I wanted to do is work for Piper. That dream never came to fruition but I still love Piper aircraft. I learned to fly in the Cherokee. I'm now 71 years old but still wear Piper hats and sweatshirt, even if I could never afford to fly again (except in MSFS). I do wish they still made the Arrow and Navajo, but if money were no object, I would own an Archer.
Piper is a great company. My Dad bought a Turbo Arrow IV in 1980. He let me take the controls several times. I was a teenager. It got me hooked on aviation. I earned my Private Pilots' License at 21. It was a fun adventure.
That's a wonderful aviation story! Piper's Turbo Arrow IV seems to have played a significant role in sparking your passion for flying. Do you have any memorable experiences from your time as a private pilot and with that specific aircraft model?
Nice video but you forgot to include how many passengers each aircraft can carry, how long is the take-off and landing and the maximum weight each plane can safely carry to fly.
You're right, knowing which Piper aircraft have Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) can greatly impact the flying experience. It's a technology that enhances engine performance and efficiency. We'll look more into this in our future videos!
I suspect you mean the Seminole, the only normally aspirated Seneca was the Seneca I of mid-1970's vintage. Current model is the [I believe] Seneca V, uses twin turbocharged engines with automatic wastegates [the earlier Senecas used a fixed-wastegate system identical to that in the Mooney 231, required lots more pilot attention and finesse]. Piper did manufacture a turbo Seminole, but this was discontinued in the 1980's. They were [and are] nice aircraft for personal transportation, certification ceiling of FL 200. Good to have counter-rotating props on a non-centerline thrust twin....
Gorgeous aircraft BUT if you are 6’5” and 240lbs like I am prepare yourself for a big disappointment. These planes are not built for people my size ! (With the exception of the Seneca and Saratoga line)
It was actually pretty funny watching me get in a Meridian. After a few minutes planning, I went for it. It didn’t help. Got my left foot in, knee on the co-pilots seat, and…got my right foot stuck behind the wing spar. Next comes the cramp in my hamstring which has me trying desperately to act dignified, but it hurts ! Ok. Foot is free, my butt is in the seat, but I can’t swing my knees around because of the yoke. Semi-stand up…and drop in. Head is hard against the ceiling and cocked at a 45 degree angle. No vis out the windshield, but I can see the “overhead” switches just fine. Can’t reach the rudder pedals because my knees are up against the dash. This is going to be a very short flight…
@@MTFBOEING737NG I’ll tell you that it’s not my weight but my height that prevents me from being able to sit up straight in the cockpit or reach the pedals because my knees are jammed against the dashboard. Would you suggest that I cut a few inches off my legs and torso ? As for my health…my cardio is far better than yours will ever be. I would challenge you to a bike race. Any distance and type of bike you choose. I will beat you by half your time. Bet any amount of money you would care to wager on the race ? Same in the gym. I will out lift you in every single discipline. Bet me a dollar a pound x each rep x each set. You will walk out of that gym a poor man. Don’t assume that because I am a big guy that I am a fat guy.
@@marksandorf2072 I was just kidding as you mentioned your weight. Never mind. I didn't really mean it because it isn't my.. business. I apologize if I offended you.
Piper has a horrid history of wings snapping off in turbulent conditions. In the M-Class, the weather radar, except for the M600-SLS, is not integrated with the wing which negatively affects the handling of the aircraft. They have known this from the start and will not correct this. Also the landing is unreliable. That's the piper story.

I would definitely pick the M600, unless I'm paying for it, and in that case would be driving my Honda Civic cross country instead.
If it's going to be a more scenic trip on the ground, why not?
M350 for me thanks. Love it!
You just have done your home work superbly thanks for your well prepared information. Wishing you all the success.
Thank you. Much appreciated!
Autoland is a game changer
Always listen and nice aircraft

Thank you for the feedback! Much appreciated.
" PIPER FREEDOM OF FLIGHT " My two favorites are the Piper Seneca V and the Piper Malibu Mirage 350
Thanks you are so informative
Thanks so much!
No mention of mention of cruise altitudes and maximum altitudes as well MTOW.
I would love the piper seminole its good fuel burn at 160 kts as well being a twin
Would be good to know which aircraft have FADEC.

M600 I’m with under contract … YES‼️‼️‼️
Great choice! The Piper M600 is indeed a remarkable aircraft with its performance and features. What specifically draws you to it?
From this 5 aircraft which all aircraft can i fly with ppl licence
Fuel burn rate?
Flight school doesn’t want turbos because of single engine training and several shut down of engines so they prefer the normal aspirated Seneca
Absolutely true.

are any of these considered a private jet? :D
The Piper Seminal is best for Multi engine training aircraft that’s going up in value market prices for a light twin
Donizete Braganca pt SP Brasil ✈✈✈✈✈✈
It would be nice if they came out with an M375 with the TEO-540 375HP engine as well as adding winglets to reduce drag and increase useful load
Where are they made??
They’re currently all assembled in Vero Beach, Florida.
NO mention of ceiling altitudes lol
love from india
Hello 🇮🇳!
I will take 1 M500 and a Seneca, please.
I’ll be perfectly happy with a Seneca myself.
M350 is the best choice
Why do you personally think so?

AeroStar is the best.

Haven’t really considered that factor but it’s a great topic for a future video!

Why don't consider losing weight at least for the sake of your health?
