FYI, Chocolate is by definition Cocoa Solids and Cocoa Butter. When the Cocoa Butter is replaced with other fats it becomes "Chocolate Flavored" but can no longer be labeled "Chocolate." Sometimes that's for cost, but in rations, its often done to make the confection more resistant to melting. Cheers.
Our British rations used to have such great chocolate in them, Yorkies and the Suchards and Duncans and for it to be replaced by that abomination chocoblok stuff is heart breaking, I understand it's heat resistant, but we're not in hot climate warfare anymore, so bring back the good stuff.
your energy when doing these is infective and the last thing one wants to do is hover over the mouse button to jump to another video. these videos may look easy to produce but i know how much time is involved behind the scenes with editing and retakes. just keep doing what you do and people are gonna be happy to hit that little thumbs up button.
There is no specific MREs from UN! UN has contractor and buy MREs following the rules of the international market !For example in ONUCI Ivory Coast French provider won the contract and provided french army MREs as emergency ration. These emergency ration are only consumed under the order of chief Supply section, a section from Integrated Support Sevices, a branch of Mission support. The normal food provided to the troops (military or formed police unit, or evencivilian staff) are fresh food, frozen food, dry food buy in local market or buy through a contractor (Suprem in Ivory Coast). For the specific example of ONUCI, the MREs provided were exactly the same than the ones dedicated to French Army. They includ Muslim or Jewich (hallal or kasher) pack or other pack for people who have no food restriction.
This is coming from a place of care. I love BOTH your channels but please stop using AI for your thumbnails. I'd rather your poorly draw a UN SUV than use AI lol.
You want him to spend more time on the actual video content itself and research and other topics? Or you want him to worry about what a picture looks like? People's priorities always confuse me.
It might have been a long ingredient list, but it was all herbs, spices and fresh ingredients - no e-numbers, preservatives, etc, that I could see.
You are my favorite ration review channel! thanks for all the videos!
I didn't even know ration review channels existed until YT recommended this one randomly. Sometimes the algorithm works!

That speedy AI generated talking 😮😮😮
I find the drinks in the rations generally need to be diluted more than they specified.
I was thinking it was tea sandwiches and a chablis for the diversified.

you filmed this 4 years ago?
I was going to ask the same thing. I didn’t realize we were still in 2020.
@@OhioGuy216 Its the same thing with Steves Christmas MRE video, like he filmed it a year ago or something, weird lol
@@rhob2422 definitely lol.
Not sure US never used some of these mains in there MRE’s
Probably not as this one was British, there are some stuff in foreign MRE's that would be really nice in ours.
Am I the only one who misread the title as "petrol rations"?
People hate the sesame Bar? A lot of wimps out there!
I remember getting that back as a kid in the 70's, you really want to separate the three wafers, really old ones can pull out your fillings otherwise.
My goodness!! Are you on the run? For all foreign viewers, speak a bit slower!
Talk.... Slower... Please
