A 10-12 Cummins will be the same as this except they require you to first tune a boot file on then you tune the delete tune after. So basically it’s like doing two tunes. I will try to get a video up in the future.

Nah you should be good if it’s an emission related code it should be gone once you tune the truck. Make sure to tune the “boot” or “patch” file first (I forget what it’s called) before you tune the SOTF file. I’m assuming you got the efi live.

My truck had mm3 just bought the truck and saw it. Went to hook up my cts3 and wasnt working. I disconnected the mm3 monitor and all the wires. Can i run the truck like that? Or will it hurt it?. I want to switch to efi live. Tho the truck runs great !

I have a 2015 3500 6.7 deleted, on yours do you notice a vary small amount of dark exhaust coming out your tail pipe just driving down the road . When i pull my trailer I'll have a very light covering of black smoke on the front of my trailer and back half of my pickup
The difference between the EFI live vs the EZ link says one can be put back to stock and the other you can't. I know why would you want to revert back to stock....however I was under the impression that any tune could be put back to stock if needed? Is this not true with all delete tunes?
If you get the kit from the link in description it will come with trans tuning if you have the 68rfe transmission. The trans tune is built in with the engine tune.

Both are good. They will both tune the truck just fine, but the ez lynk has a few more options like being able to monitor gauges with your phone, also some cool Vehicle functions like turning on high and low beams at the same time. Basically if you have the money, get the ez lynk. If you are on a budget get the efi live.
I'm at 35k miles. my trucks does everything it's sposta do so far. but I want this. still wish they could crack the factory computer so far the best thing I've done to my truck is a set of 35 by 11.5 falken wildpeak at3
@darkirondiesel Ah makes sense. Great video, EFI Live is definitely the way to go with the Cummins. When it comes to tune files though these guys like GDP, CCS, AMDP, are becoming like generic box tunes. It's the guys/companies you don't see or hear about everywhere that are writing the good tunes. And have better customer service. In my opinion.
Diesel dudes actually have really good customer support, just gotta make a ticket and communicate through email but I find their support is much better then some other companies.
If you live in Canada then dirty diesel is great but they only ship to Canada, diesel dudes ships world wide so if you live anywhere other then Canada I’d recommend diesel dudes. Both have quality exhausts and good tunes.

You can use efi live to put your truck back to stock, they can also send you a stock file if you need one.
What’s different with a cab a chassis delete. Have a 2018 3500 cab and chassis I’m wanting to delete.
It’s basically the same they just need to know it’s a cab and chassis. Also the egr is a little bit different, but very similar

Yes I just prefer to do the tune first to make sure it goes well before removing everything.

No they use a couple different companies depending on which tuner a guy orders. GDP is one of the main companies.
