Was the stock hardware in the Hangar9 float kit sufficient for proper strut placement on the Dave Patrick Super Cub or did you have to purchase the accessory strut mounts?
It is an old Dave Patricks 1/4 scale Super Cub ARF and the floats are Hangar 9 1/4 scale floats. The blue Hangar 9 1/4 scale Super Cub is almost the same as the old Dave Patricks Super Cub. Only difference is the color.

Why is the stab flapping? Love look of a Cub on floats. Reminds me of a Strombecker "solid"model Cub on floats that I built as a kid in the 40's.
No tail rigging! Tabs are there, but no wires.
It is an early version DLE30 and it had a vibration issue. I know more recent DLE's run better, but that one was a dog.

I put mine together 17 years ago and never have flown it its in the garage takes too much space its beautiful but HUGE!
I found one recently from someone like you. I purchased it for backup. So, now I have two Dave Patricks Super Cubs.
