These are 2 scenes from Vader Immortal that shows our good friend Anakin Skywalker trying to resurrect his beloved Padme. The whole VR experience really revolves around this plotline and best of all, this is all canon!
His idea of love is so far off the mark, though. To him, love is almost like ownership. The way Anakin/Vader behaves he seems to believe he's entitled to Padme no matter what, even going so far as to hurt her in ROTS when she tells him that he's not the same man she fell in love with. It's especially tragic, since he brought it all on himself.
It reminds me on Mr.Freeze from DC Unviverse....his wife is sick and frozen, all he does is trying to find cure for her..but everyone stands in his way 😁

The way Vader behaved on Mustafar was hardly typical to Anakin's behavior. He was drunk on the power of the Dark Side and frankly his mental state was probably crumbling as well, given the trauma of recent events. He was so broken that he was able to slaughter children, for christ's sake. Anakin believes himself to be entitled to Padme no more than any spouse does for their partner. However the difference with Anakin I feel is that he's far more obsessive. Anakin's lost so much in his life that he's terrified of losing any more, so he clings to Padme with all that he has. It's why Palpatine had such an easy time manipulating him, because he did so by using Anakin's fear of losing Padme against him.

But the whole point of the movie, the empire and all of Anakin's conquest was to become powerful enough to stop Padme from dying like he saw in his visions of the future. Ironically the very path he set out on to avoid her fate was what brought him to the dark side. He had tendencies here and there (killing the tusken raider village and dooku) but he still could've been redeemed before that. After the younglings and the cold blooded murders he fell.

As much as it was delivered that she died of a broken heart, lost her will to live, here's the thing that's implied and theorized: When Anakin was at the brink of death, brought to the droids to be worked on, it was simultaneous with Padme delivering the children. Both were going through pain, but wheras Vader had lived, Padme had passed. It was, in the end, by Palpatine's plan, the way of immortality learned by Darth Plagieus. Through the transference of life energy, a Sith can live on. One dies, one lives. Just like the Rule of Two, the rule of one master and one apprentice. For Plagieus, having a supply of apprentices would mean a constant supply of life energy to preserve himself. Until one apprentice caught on, and became the master. One died, one lived. Yes, Anakin turned to the dark side, out of desperation to learn the secret of immortality and save his loved one. Yes, he force choked her out of irrational anger. But the process of his ascension to Vader, that's what did the deed in the end.
He knew it was his fault, he just couldn't really admit it. That's why he is so hateful and aggressive. He was that one person who hated vader the most. And that grief and hate against himself made him so powerful

Whats actually depressing is that the Player is actually the worse person in this situation (in my opinion) cos if Padme was brought back not only would Vader not be alone and depressed, but she could have brought him to the light

The Welsh Mon George Lucas have already explained this. He could only be redeemed in the hands of his children cause they did not know him when he was Anakin, they are not the reason for him being Darth Vader. When he saw Ahsoka he saw his former life, so weaknesses

Saber combat looks to slow, and there's not much effort being put against Vader either, as in effort your casually just hitting his saber, you gotta make it look cooler man come on!
If I went to the dark side I would give in fully. Not half way. Surely Vader realized after this ordeal that in order to achieve Qui Gon Jin level prowess as a Sith you must be one with who you are and accept it to the fullest. Qui Gon Jin knew the potential Obi Wan had as a teacher. A good teacher always had one more lesson to teach their student. In the case of Obi Wan's body vanishing that can be classified as the last lesson for the former padawan in Vader. Question is... Do you think Vader learned from it?
Can we possibly get something like this for the Star Wars rebels sequel and get the chance to bring back one of the beloved Jedi heroes with Ezra still strong with the light side of the force of course figures out a way he can resurrect kanan and he and Ahsoka the white use the the light side of the force and bring back kanan so he can be with his family

@Allen Danielsen no even i can tell its way off and i just was watching vador scenes with actual james earl jones voicing so....yea this is not that great, it def ruins the immersion, there are moments it sounds like vador and then someone with a helmet on trying to do the lines.
The voice is fine but they didn't edit it enough for the mechanical sound.
Whats actually depressing is that the Player is actually the worse person in this situation (in my opinion) cos if Padme was brought back not only would Vader not be alone and depressed, but she could have brought him to the light

The Welsh Mon George Lucas have already explained this. He could only be redeemed in the hands of his children cause they did not know him when he was Anakin, they are not the reason for him being Darth Vader. When he saw Ahsoka he saw his former life, so weaknesses

If I went to the dark side I would give in fully. Not half way. Surely Vader realized after this ordeal that in order to achieve Qui Gon Jin level prowess as a Sith you must be one with who you are and accept it to the fullest. Qui Gon Jin knew the potential Obi Wan had as a teacher. A good teacher always had one more lesson to teach their student. In the case of Obi Wan's body vanishing that can be classified as the last lesson for the former padawan in Vader. Question is... Do you think Vader learned from it?
