Ultimate Scientific Battle | Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Neo DEMO

- Otherwise known as the "Yamcha Saga", considering it revolves around him.
An unused scenario that got cut out likely because of its lack of coherence.
Special Thanks to the following gentlemen:
* @hirotex@Hiro_Tex, for essentially being the reason of this video's existence (he wanted me to make it, and thus provided the resources I needed, such as cheat codes for the voices to be set to English, and a patch that fixed the Cell Jr. vs Cell Jr - without it, the scenario couldn't be completed )
Tec2776, for translating some text from Japanese to English
(here's his Twitter: / imtherealtec )
* @MetalFreezer3000, for moral support
The opening narrator did not have to do Yamcha this dirty, wow
Also at, 5:02 "Thanks to Yamcha I'm one of the good guys now" from Imperfect Cell is such an insane line LMAO
Huge thanks Vive, finally after all these years hidden in the darkness the cut content can see the light and everyone can enjoy/hate what the devs at Spike intended to share with us.
**Cries on cancelled BT2 Neo Reborn**
**Cries in cancelled Budokai 3**
This was like playing with action figures as a kid lmfao
I can't believe I've never heard of this before!
This is the weirdest what-if I've ever seen in an official Dragon Ball game! This is so trippy, it makes the Zarbon what-if seem perfectly normal in comparison!
As a huge Yamcha fan
I'm so upset this was cut
I'm gonna make this saga in Sparking Zero when it drops
I'm excited and terrified to see what people make in sparking zero
At last, the Cut What If Saga is now documented in all it's glory (well, even if it's a bit unfinished, there's no Camera on the Cutscene and only "Farewell, Warriors" is the only music track playing in the Background)
Thank you for bringing this to light! Such an insane what-if. They should have kept it in the game!
"I don't know what's going on"
So this would've been unlocked by beating Dr Gero at the beginning of the Android Saga. Interesting. It's a bizzare story but it would've been cool to see it finished.
I always *knew* there should be a what-if for this fight! Thank you so much for this!
2:40 DONT IGNORE ME!!
This is so fucking funny. What a shame it was cut
So wait, they did the voice acting, but still didn't implement the actual translated text in-game? That's weird
Correct. I’m assuming they got paid extra, having thought of this scenario as more of a gig, given how ridiculous this is.
Otherwise, they just wanted the Yamcha vs. Gero fight to actually be worth a shit.
This was a fucking trip
couldn’t have said it better myself lol
I swear if they put this what if on Sparking zero I'm done.
We can do one better, we can make ot ourselves now
I know I'm gonna do that
Awesome work my man! Gave me idea for a modd
8:08 Cooler sounds like Betruger from Doom when he says “Oh really?”.
This is sooooo random, i love it
Awesome Vive!
No entendí nada pero muy épica la reconstrucción.
Lol, love how weird this gets.
Yamcha has and always will be the goat
Hi Vive, can I use some parts of this video? i'll give you credits in my video (i show also your channel in my video)
Sure, no problem.
@@ViveTheModder thanks man, you are one of the best modder of tenkaichi series
LMAOOOOOOO Yamcha is such a bum that he does not even get to the end of his own saga! (I think the devs hate him or something, because going out like THAT???)
Cell is unironically the GOAT.
Is it possible to somehow play that What-If in a non demo version of the game ? By using AFS explorer you can access the files for it, but replacing them by any normal mission will just crash the game, so i wonder if there's any way.
I highly doubt that can be done.
Where can I see with Japanese audio?
Most likely it was supposed to be a What if Saga rewarded for beating Mech-Frieza with Trunks since you get all What If Sagas by beating level 228 characters in story mode at the beginning. I knew there was something like that and now my theory is correct since you unreasonably fight a level 228 character in the beginning of the saga without any kind of special reason or reward.
Wasn't there also a fight against lvl 228 Dr. Gero though? When him and Android 19 start attacking the city
@@horodoomwolf Nope, there's nothing like that, both android 19 and 20 are at level 151. The highest level Dr Gero in story mode is a level 175 one when you fight against him using piccolo and other z fighters.
EDIT: I'm wrong. Also, you're wrong. It isn't mandatory to beat certain villains at lvl 228 (level 3 difficulty) to unlock what-if sagas, you just have to beat them, regardless of difficulty or level, and these must have the 'special battle' ruleset. Yamcha's fight against Android 19 and 20 is time-limited, so if this saga made it to the final game, it would have the 'special battle' ruleset instead of just 'survive the fight'.
@@horodoomwolf I doubt they would make you beat 2 level 228 opponents. The mech Frieza battle makes a lot more sense since on other what ifs you battle only 1 opponent. Perhaps it's an oversight that they left Mech Frieza at level 228 in that first battle, but I'm totally sure you were supposed to get that saga by beating him, not the two androids, but I could be wrong
@@hondurashondurashondurasho34 This Saga starts with Yamcha having already defeated 19, why would this saga unlock from beating Mecha Freiza, that doesn't make any sense. They very easily could've just made the battle just 1 level 228 Android 19, and decided since they're cutting the saga to just make both opponents appear instead.
Are the battles skipped by default or you just do it?
this is fucking hilarious
agreed
10/10 hex edit I need this I think
peak
How tf did they get the dynasty warriors announcer to do this but not dynasty warriors?? 😂 Koei Tecmo disappointing their fans fr
Are...... You even watching the right Video?
