Well Worth the wait partner!
You're welcome! I had fun here. Will you do Toy Story 4 IRL?
No thank you for the amazing work and time this took. I couldn’t have done this at all
Hey Morgan. I just saw the remake. This is really incredible. I tip my hat to you and your brother. Well worth the wait. :)
It's so good
They've been working on this for 8 years
*let that sink in*
*what does he want now???!*
And here I am, giving up on any project that doesn't go right after the first hour.

3DO to the MAX that’s impressive. They did a great job on all this work.
The only reason Disney hasn’t taken this down is because they are genuinely satisfied with the work the mans done
Theyll take it down once they decide to do live action toy story
The Wizward They probably won’t. Toy Story at its core is a staple of completely CGI films with the intended audience for children. Making a live action version of this is basically says “hey, we know how this movie was basically a giant game changer for the industry.....but we like money”. Even if Disney really does like money and does the idea, it would wreck their reputation.
@@firewolf950tfwgaming7 “hey, we know how this movie was basically a giant game changer for the industry.....but we like money”
You do realize they've already made this stance pretty clearly with the 2D remakes lmao
I don't think Disney can take this down that's f***'d up they worked hard and it's gonna attract people to watch the real one(could)
I think, if anything, they should put a tab on this and wait for these two to get old enough to be hired.
The fact that they made an entire room to look like Andy’s, get all the toys, have the patience to film and edit all of this, get an actual daycare to let them use it and to match up the audio from the movie perfectly is honestly just awesome. Watching this made me speechless, this honestly just a masterpiece. Well done.
I agree. They set out to make this and they nailed it. I wonder what they're doing now?
This belongs in the National Film Registry to be preserved for its historical, cultural, and aesthetic contributions.
This is just.. scarily accurate.

I don't know if anyone relates, but this feels like something you start watching and say "I'll only watch 5 minutes..." and you end up watching the whole thing. Amazing
I could relate to
That’s exactly what I did I said im gonna only watch couple minutes of it but I ended up watching the entire thing
Relatable
I can relate
📠
I’m 17, going to college next year. I’ve never cried during a movie. But when Andy gave his toys away, even Woody, signifying the end of his childhood… I cried. I want to thank you for making this. I don’t think I would have cried if it weren’t for the real actors as opposed to animation, as a reminder that this does not only happen in movies, but to real people. Thank you for making this masterpiece ❤
Thanks so much for the kind words-and thank you for watching! Best of luck at college!
I well remember my college years and I was finishing the year Queen Elizabeth died and my last year started like that! I still miss her 2 years later
@@ToyStory3IRLThe sunnyside part is different because when woody wants to go home to see Andy why is buzz and Jessie smiling so different and cool I love it
Same here! The movie hits different when you can relate to Andy
I love how they managed to get a HUGE amount of the toys from the original movie! The Totoro plushie, the face switching robot thing, (Is that the ACTUAL Lots-O-Hugs / Lotso Bear?), the Fisher Price toys, and just SOOO many more! Nice attention to detail! Such a great recreation! Well done, guys, well done!
Also all of Ken’s outfits
Better than Disney's live action remakes to be honest.
This is historical!
Quiet Yuki yes actually heart and soul went into this and the Toy Story 1 live action did by JP and Beyond. I really hope Disney never makes an official live action remake of Toy Story.
Quiet Yuki no it’s not please stop making lies like this. It’s amazing work but you wouldn’t want to see this in theaters over their live action remakes
Kayden 21 I️ would considering it’s actually better than literally just taking an old film and re making it but in live action this is a shot for shot remake and is very well done
Adrian Q I’m not saying that what I’m saying is I️ think this is better than live action remakes made by disney and I’m saying how somebody took time and effort to make this
Quiet Yuki Dang that statement was as hot as the incinerator scene in Toy Story 3

For some reason this version made me cry so much more, I think it’s the beauty in the story and remembering that feeling the first time I watched it, but it’s also the beauty in knowing the 8 years you dedicated to retell an amazing story from a different perspective. These are the things that make me love humanity 💚
Thank you for the kind words-and thank you for watching!
The fact that they collected all the toys and everything! Best recreation of a movie ever!

The fact Disney hasn’t taken this down for copyright, or even the company that owns the “you’ve got a friend in me don’t” hasn’t struck down the video, this is absolutely amazing, companies finally appreciating proper work instead of money grubbing
They got permission to do it before they posted it. They made sure the claim was taken off the video
At the end, Andy stayed long enough at Bonnie’s house to play with her before going to college. He played with his toys, and Woody, one last time.
You can buy the toys, is not illegal.

As a stop-motion animator myself, then I can tell the animators are very talented and they are worked extremely hard and long (8 years) on this project. A lot of people talk about how much time and commitment it took, which does need to be mentioned, but remember, not only did this take commitment, but it also took a lot of talent which most people don't have
"which most people don't have"
Big OOF. That hurts a lot since I'm most people, which I'm sure most people are
@@thesnoms1492 I meant most people don't have the talent to make really good stop-motion, which is true.

Everyone has a talent tho
Exactly, and in the movie, I appreciate how the filmmakers uses two versions of Woody to film the scenes.
The realistic action figure one has frames to make Woody able to walk and stand for stop motion scenes.
The effort too
This is magnificent, captures the exact feel of the original movie, like others have said, when watching this you completely forget you aren’t watching the Pixar animated version. Incredible job, and the creators of this deserve every amount of praise they’ve received.

Just the fact that they collected all the toys and set pieces is already impressive by itself
what's most impressive to me is how accurate their real recreation of andy's room is
Whats impressive is this whole thing itself
This isn't meant to trash the movie or anything, but from the looks of it, a lot of the props and backgrounds are digitally edited in. It's not a bad thing, it'd be very difficult to just remake everything. But they didn't collect it. The compositing work is excellent though!
