This isn't meant to trash the movie or anything, but from the looks of it, a lot of the props and backgrounds are digitally edited in. It's not a bad thing, it'd be very difficult to just remake everything. But they didn't collect it. The compositing work is excellent though!

For some reason this version made me cry so much more, I think it’s the beauty in the story and remembering that feeling the first time I watched it, but it’s also the beauty in knowing the 8 years you dedicated to retell an amazing story from a different perspective. These are the things that make me love humanity 💚
Thank you for the kind words-and thank you for watching!
The fact the entire movie is actually really close to the actual film is outstanding
R.I.P to everyone who didn't get this recommended to them and has to wait a few years
I saw it in my recommendations, and I don't even know this channel
Ikr I'm so happy I found it on facebook😭
For real tho, my friend found this and told me to watch it and I'm glad he did
Its all over the news
Yup- ;-;
Me vi tantas veces que ya me se los diálogos de memoria y también ayuda que entienda un poco el inglés
La verdad disfrute la película 😊
"No one's gonna want those old toys, they're junk!"
Me: okay, it has been years.. that shit hurts..
It just got recommended to me today. And I must admit - this feels like watching the movie for the first time all over again. Such a wonderful work, and even more, one that brought good memories buried deep inside of my mind. Thank you.
Same!!
so rightt !
This will appear in everyone’s recommendations soon in 2 years.
Goddam right
True
Eee
Yes
MDGamerHits it’s already in my recommendations
This is amazing! I trully admire this kid's determination, keep going!
Just the fact that they collected all the toys and set pieces is already impressive by itself
what's most impressive to me is how accurate their real recreation of andy's room is
Whats impressive is this whole thing itself
This isn't meant to trash the movie or anything, but from the looks of it, a lot of the props and backgrounds are digitally edited in. It's not a bad thing, it'd be very difficult to just remake everything. But they didn't collect it. The compositing work is excellent though!
Fun fact: They bought all of Ken’s clothing pieces and that must have been expensive.
i hope they make more disney remakes like this this was just soooo so good
I'm actually really impressed with the stop motion. It actually looks like the real thing at times.
Now it’s literally ‘toy story’
it is the real thing its real life
It is like toy story!!!!!!
"Ok, I'll watch just a little, tomorrow I'll continue"
1 hour and a half later
"Wait a minute"
"A minute"
hahaha
I feel the same
X2 jaja
This is amazing guys, congratulations!!
Fun fact, I typed up “how people make stop motion movies” and this came up... safe to say I have never been more impressed in my whole entire life. I’ll be watching this with my family tonight!! Thank you for this ART
Katelyn Jarmin to make a stop motion film it’s actually really easy. Just download Stop Motion Studio.

Brother, what it means to have dedication and love for art, anyone would have gotten fed up and would have given up and left that project, but doing all this shows a lot of discipline and passion. There is no person who dares to criticize this video because no one would dare to do so and not in the same quality.
*watching the video*
*checks the video’s timeline*
_WAIT THEY DID THE WHOLE MOVIE!?_
Same thing I was thinking lol
Thats litteraly what i said😂😂
Ikr
Me to I was surprised
I was like: Hol’ up
I showed this to my 1 year old daughter and she was hooked. I was hooked just off the impressive work the creator went through to literally recreate the entire movie.
I can’t believe I was turning 9 then and it’s hard to believe I’ll be 20 in 4 months

Only one month to go, holy Toy Story hell! Time flies fast and still have my Woody with me today. I’m surprised Woody has lasted almost 12 years but it was my sister who took amazing care of him and now I’m doing this for her since she gave up on him. She still sees Woody very often which is good
@@nicolelawless3199 hhhggggggg

Now it’ll be me and my sisters turn to be 20 and I’m scared as heck
They set accuracy is insane. Andys room really looks like that in the movie
Jesus, why haven't I heard about this before? This is youtube hall of fame material
*Pixar:* You cant upload our movie on UA-cam, otherwise we'll block it.
*McGrew brothers:* Hold my toys.

Cameron Hudson Well this is going to be fun
Me and my daughter just finished watching this. She's 9 years old and has been a fan of stop-motion films, she aspires to learn how to make one too. As I watch her watch this, I know something sparked in her and I thank you and all the people who made this for that. 😄
Irie’s Good Vibes Thank you for watching! Wish your daughter the best of luck for us!
Oh my God
Stop motion aww I sas watching mixie pixie and her stop motion :)
wow well keep inspiring
This is the first time i've watched Toy Story 3, and I don't regret a single second watching this masterpiece. Thank you for the insane effort ❤.
I AM JUST SPEACHLESS CAUSE YOU GUYS WHERE WORKING ON THIS PROJECT FOR 8 YEARS AND ONLY HAVE 1 MILION VIEWS
I know right, just wait a couple of years and you'll see it blow up
Then you can shares this so they can gain more views, to make this effort worth
2 million+ by the writing of this comment.
SHARE IT!!!!
Don't think they did it for the views....think of all the jobs they'll have after the film school they're going to

The first five minutes is probably like Andy imagined it.

Wow, really? Who knew.
Y’know, I just finished watching this while putting on the ACTUAL Toy Story 3 at the same time, I could hardly tell a difference. I really appreciate your guys work and as a stop motion creator myself, I don’t think I could ever be this good. You and your team did a very good job and I’m glad you guys still make Toy Story stop motions in short form! Love your channel man.
THIS IS WAY TOO GOOD TO BE REAL
omg that was a fast heart; wish I could heart the video in return. Amazing work!
How did they get a house that was exactly like andy’s?
It took 8 years I think they had time to search.
Dedi-fucking-cation
Or maybe lucky house
@@justdanceparadisearchive3888 I had the exact question on the first video. They got lucky
This is awesome. I really hope Disney doesn’t take this down or anything considering they’re known for being copyright vultures
this is fair use they better not
They contacted Disney before they made this, it's not going down
As I can see, you're a man of culture.
They shouldnt even contact Disney. Its a tribute to Toy Story
@@beatriz6093 how do you know?
I love that this was made by 2 brothers
The fact that someone took THIS much time to be able to make this real, is already something worth of respect, GJ amazing work
Wow. I clicked on this intending to only watch a few minutes or so to check it out. Literally just watched the entire thing from start to finish. The creativity and attention to detail is outstanding. Also great to see Iowans in the spotlight every once in a while. Keep it up!
I find it funny that a few people on UA-cam can do a better live action remake of a beloved movie better than all of Disney’s live action attempts
well, it helps that this was a passion project rather than a cash-grab

We just have to put our minds to it and power through! And the final product is truly worth it. Bravo!!
Holy... moly.
8 years of dedication, editing, mixing and aissistance from your peers to create quite possibly the best tribute ever to the Toy Story franchise, and probably Pixar as a whole.
You are definitely Woody’s favorite deputy after making something as monumental as this.
Simply phenomenal.

small brain: buy film

i can’t believe i haven’t found out about this sooner, this is truly a masterpiece. the 8 years of work into this was definitely worth it
edit: i just finished watching it for the first time. i think this is officially my favourite youtube video
This is the definition of art and dedication.
It took 8 years to make this, and most people just watch 2 minutes and say “oh cool” INCLUDING MYSELF
I watched almost the entire thing. I’ve already seen toy story 3 though so that’s why I skipped past some parts.
@@timmiller2203 same I just spent my evening watching this, amazing how many niche details are kept in like A113, set design being exact and layout of every building being the exact same. It's astonishing it only took 8 years when you see all the details kept in.

I'm 32 now, and I've spent quite a lot of money over the years purchasing toys I used to have as a child (mostly Beast Wars and G.I Joe figures).
You may not miss them in 5 years. You may not even miss them in 20 years. But eventually, some part of your soul will break and you will realize just how much you miss your childhood. And the closest you will ever get to reclaiming that is buying an old toy you used to love when you were 8 years old.
God, it doesn’t even matter which version of Toy Story 3 it is, you’ll still be crying at the end. 😭
Also, to your dog Buster,
so long, old friend.
Man, I just think about all the effort, cost and time this took and makes me so happy about the fact this was made with the heart, pure love to the project. Even tho the video is already famous, I feel this should be recognized even more. Thanks to the algorithm for recommend me this and thanks to you people for this amazing movie ❤️
When you can’t afford the real movie.
Jokes aside this is really impressive.
And expensive
I’m 17, going to college next year. I’ve never cried during a movie. But when Andy gave his toys away, even Woody, signifying the end of his childhood… I cried. I want to thank you for making this. I don’t think I would have cried if it weren’t for the real actors as opposed to animation, as a reminder that this does not only happen in movies, but to real people. Thank you for making this masterpiece ❤
