- Did you ever wonder what happened to all of Andy's Toys from the Toy Story and Toy Story 2 movie? This video will explore what did and what might have happened to some of the supporting characters in the film.
So sit back review some of the forgotten toys of Toy Story including Wheezy, Lenny, Troll, Rocky Gibraltar, and more!

I was bothered that they took the time to remake RC’s model for the opening of 4 AND had an remote controlled vehicle later in the film (the Skunk), and it WASNT powered by RC. Missed opportunity to have the old character return and show his thanks to Bo for saving him by becoming a part of her new ride.
That would have been amazing.
I love this idea - that would have been an excellent call back and a nice surprise to see Woody re-unite with not only Bo but also RC. Have you tried sending your resume to Pixar? They could use a few good writers 😀

When you said that RC was trashed, that struck a nerve; I loved RC, so hearing that made me wince. I know it's just speculation on your part, but I want to think that they were given to some guy who restored old toys for a hobby, and found a new life somewhere.
As for Rocky, I unfortunately can't say that's outside the realm of probability...
I actually still have My Etch-a-sketch, so I imagine Andy's Etch is still living it up somewhere
I agree with Etch, i have a etch a sketch from the 60s or 70s and it still works fine, with reasonable care they'll practically live forever
I kinda believe the barrel of monkeys were lost around the house, like Andy is a kid he has to have lost like 80% of the monkeys and trashed the other 20% like who would buy monkey?
I just imagined RC being customized and being supercharged like those RC cars and monster trucks people make for competitons.
I had somwthing like Etch-A-Sketch but idk where it is now, I don't remember trashing, giving away or donating it. Where is it?

I believe that RC was thrown out after the toy story 4 flashback. Being left out in the rain like that couldn’t have been good for his electronics.

Im pretty sure the flashback was the last time RC ever ran on his own power, since the mud and water must have definetly ruined his circuits.
Shame to see him go out in the trash, but ive had various RC cars and most of them, due to wear, tear, rust and leaky batteries, they eventually stop working, so it would be realistic for RC to sadly one day be unable to run under his own power and get trashed.
I agree, RC is probally my favorite supporting characters. It is a sham3 that this is most likely the way he ended up going out.
Not necessarily. He could be waterproof. Buzz is still fully functional after getting sprayed with a garden hose and caught in a tidal wave, so who’s to say the same couldn’t be said for RC?
I think if they were going to make a Toy Story 5, I think it should be like a reunion for all of Andy's toys. Maybe Woody knew where the other toys went and decided to invite them all to a toy reunion. It would be great to see the whole gang back together.

Be cool to see a spin off series of these toys and flesh them out more. It's very unfortunate that Wheezy's and Lenny's voice actor passed away though. Which is the 2 one's I'd want to see the most.
Honestly for toy story 5 it's very likely that more toys would go away, Mr. Potato Head would definitely be on top of the list considering that Don Rickles passed away and they could barely even have him on posthumously with the lack of leftover lines.
I know that the death of Joe ranft was the reason why they obviously were not in the third or fourth movie which I have known that for years

RC was my absolute favorite of what I'll call "side characters". Even though he had a pretty solid role in the movies, I don't believe he was ever part of the main cast.
That being said, He's still my favorite of the side characters. I was very happy to see him return in toy Story 4. I'm going to choose to believe that he was not thrown away, But merely donated.
Yeah but what if in toy story 5 that disney and pixar announced that means that rc is coming back and including the other toys that would be amazing if they put them in the movie !

My personal favorite supporting toys are RC and especially Lenny.
For RC: Maybe Andy stopped using him after years, so he was possibly either donated or sold at a yard sale.
For Lenny: I guess it's a similar fate to RC, although it's possible that his mechanics broke, leaving him trashed.

I don’t think Lenny was confirmed to be sold. All who was mentioned in Toy Story 3 that was sold was “Wheezy, Etch, & Bo Peep”.

The reason Bo Peep didn't appear in Toy Story 3 is because if she was in the garbage incinerator scene, she'd immediately combust due to the materials she's made out of.
As for Wheezy and Lenny, the reason they're gone might be due to the fact that their voice actor, Joe Ranft, died.
They could've always gotten Jerome to do the voices...
Also Bo Peep didn't appear because she wouldn't survive the caterpillar room.
Also Bo Peep's body is fragile, since she is made out of porcelain. If she was in the daycare center in Toy Story 3, she would immediately break from all the kids trying to play with her.

Well Lenny and Weezy had the same voice actor

So that could be a reason for not having them in toy story 3 and 4
I'm pretty sure Wheezy and Lenny just didn't return because their voice actor, Joe Ranft, died in 2005

@@masterfarr8265 Joe Ranft was the co director of Cars, and he made plenty of major contributions. For instance, Mater was greatly inspired by him. Yeah, Red doesn't have any spoken dialogue, but Ranft also voiced the Peterbilt that Lightning McQueen sees.

“Mac! I ain’t no Mac! I’m a Peterbilt for dang sake!” So he got to say some final lines that wasn’t all crying and gasps, even if they were rude. If you’re not going to show respect to someone’s final body of work, then you shouldn’t comment.
As well as Weezy's singing voice having passed on too. The only toy ever shown to live on after their voice was Mr. Potato head, they gave Don Rickles a great tribute with archived recordings given by his family. Potato Head was so iconic and I really hope Don is resting in peace, he was a funny funny man.
Toy story movies as a kid were amazing as an adult just make me cry wheezy and RC were my favorite side characters I even named my first car wheezy because my car when shifted reminded me of wheezy on the shelf with his broken squeaker

When Toy Story 3 came out, it amplified my hoarding tendencies. I had and still have hesitations in getting rid of old toys, books, or even pencils.
Good thing Andy's mom is not my mom. I would've had panic attacks or shielded myself from the outside world lol
Personally I can agree, toys have a magic to them. Though I can't say they are alive, as I can only say that about steam locomotives for sure I cringe when I see any channel destroy a toy. Just imagining what good it could bring to a little kid in a place like St. Judes or other hospitals for kids with unknown conditions a toy they love could be their biggest friend.
I always wanted to see the toys from Sid’s room make a come back. They were cool in helping Buzz and Woody plan the rescue and escape mission
I wish zurg should have appeared in Toy story 4 as the true antagonist but no they just have to focus on bo and Gabby because it's more popular that way. I hope this time it happens in Toy story 5 when they gave him a large role or at least a short film prequel or focuses on why was Zurg following buzz and is it true that he knew about it.

Good catch! Just checked that out and saw. Only question is that Mr. Spell, the same one from Andy’s bedroom.....or is one of the many versions of the toy that they used to sell at Al’s Toy Barn 😀

@@dguy0386 yeah, when i was little i have my own rc car and even tho his electonics were dostroyed over the years, i donated it to my cousin and he is still playing with it because it's wheels werenť stuck due electronics so it was just bigger car toy that can be moved by holding it.
No in the toy story 4 mudstorm scene he was saved and brought into Andy's room I'm serious I saw it with my own two eyes
Rocky Gibraltar is honestly my favourite background toy. He's barely in the movies and yet he has such presence. He looks like the type of toy you just instantly want to pick up and throw around.
Plus I love the absurdity that he is canonically Andy's strongest toy even though his muscles are made of plastic.
Remember Lenny the Binoculars? I think if the cards were played right he could've been a main character, he was basically one of the only other supporting character who both had a voice and a good part in the plot. I really wished he returned in TS 4, would've been kinda neat.
I highly doubt that Zurg in 2 and 3 are the same figure and I have a few reasons.
One being that if this was that Zurg then I think that utility belt Buzz would be with him.
Second since thanks to toy story 2 we know how many action figures of Buzz there were in one shop we can at least assume that Zurg would have at least a similiar amount of action figures.
Third where is his in cannon that thing did not look like it was detachable neither from his hand or his back and even if it was detachabble from his hand and some kid broke the ammo pack his cape would have some damage on it.
Fourth TS2 Zurg was a bit damaged from his fall and this one looks mint condition.
Ikr I cam confirm that since I had a zurg until its arm and tube thing broke (to this day I still have it) and the blaster does not come off. It must be a different type of zurg because mine had his hand molded into his blaster
I mean tbh I believe that Zurg and Buzz are running around the place and having a good time, like when they ran off they seemed so happy idk why they would wanna be a normal toy.

I like to think that most of Andy’s toys were either sold, donated, given away, or even stored in the attic rather than thrown away. Here’s my guesses for some of the ones you didn’t list.
Mr. Mike: He was one of the few toys who didn’t appear in the home videos of Andy’s childhood, so this gives me two theories. 1. He was either donated, sold in a yard sale, or handed down to Molly not long after the events of Toy Story 2. Or 2. Andy simply wasn’t playing with Mike when these videos were recorded, so he was just put away. He’s no longer with the toys by the time Andy’s 17, so Mike definitely was either sold or donated at some point over the years due to Andy outgrowing him. I also think he could have been put in the attic. If he got sold, then hopefully he’s in good hands because he’s worth a lot today. Heck, I have one of my own that my aunt got online for me, and I intend to take good care of him for as long as possible.
Rolly-Polly Clown: Like Mike, the clown didn’t appear in the home videos, so he either was given to a new owner or Molly shortly after Toy Story 2 or simply wasn’t out. He probably was handed down to Molly as Andy got older, and then eventually either sold in a yard sale or donated.
Little Tikes: They and the fire truck don’t appear in the home videos either (in fact, the majority of the toys here don’t). Again, Andy may have still had them, but just wasn’t playing with them when the videos were recorded. As Andy got older, he lost interest in the Tikes and the fire truck, so they were sold, donated, given to goodwill, or maybe even thrown out, which I like to imagine wasn’t the fate of the majority of the toys. The fire truck could also possible be stored away in the attic.
See N Say: Interestingly, unlike most of the other toys, See N Say doesn’t return in Toy Story 2, and I think I know why. In Toy Story 2, Andy is 10 years old, so he probably would have no interest in See N Say. So I think See N Say was handed down to Molly at some point before the events of the movie, and then eventually, he was either sold in a yard sale or donated to charity as Molly would eventually outgrow him too.
Robot: I’m pretty sure toys like Robot can last for a while as long you take good care of them, and may even be worth some money nowadays, so Robot was most likely either sold, donated, or stored in the attic.
Snake: As much as I don’t want to think it, Snake could have been one of the few toys to get thrown out. Toys like him can break pretty easily as they get older due to their joints getting weaker as you handle them more and more, so Snake may have accidentally gotten broken by Andy at some point, which meant that he had to get thrown away. If not, he was implied by Woody to have been sold or donated, which means he has a new owner now. It’s also possible that Andy may have stored him in the attic.
Troikas: They also don’t appear in the home videos, which means they may have been sold in a yard sale, donated, handed down to Molly, or thrown away shortly after Toy Story 2. Or Andy simply didn’t take them out before any of these home videos. By the events of Toy Story 3, the Troikas are gone, so they had to have been sold, donated, stored in the attic, or trashed at some point.
Mr. Shark: He made no appearance in Toy Story 3 at all and was another toy who wasn’t seen in the home videos, so he was likely sold on a yard sale, donated, given to goodwill, put in the attic, or thrown out as Andy outgrew him.

I want to try to go back in time before they years of the toys 🧸 from Toy 🧸 Story 1 and 2 got donated and tell Pixar to keep all of them in Toy 🧸 Story 3.

I never see it mentioned, but having grown up with the toy here is a fact about the robot who helps set up Woody's podium in the first movie. The voice box phrases heard by the robot when he makes sure Snake helps set up said podium are actually clips from the real toy robot My Pal 2, particularly his "Hi" and then cool 90s catch phrase "Yo kid whats up?" With the "kid" said like "Keyed" not kid. He also makes many common sound chip nosies from the 80s and 90s you might hear a laser or such play.
The most baffling case is the Peas in a Pod. They were seemingly written out of existence for Toy Story 4, outside from minor non speaking background appearances. They do appear in the Disney+ series, but I personally believe they are probably dangerously close to being donated by Bonnie to someone else, since she’s not actively enjoying the three of them and barely pays attention to them. If Toy Story 5, 6 or maybe 7 was released (which is not known currently), they’ll probably be written out of those films and likely given a similar donation excuse to most of the other toys aren’t seen in some films.
They are made of fabric, which could’ve easily torn at some point after their single episode appearance in the Disney+ series and she probably felt that they had enough damage that there’s wasn’t much need for them. It is established that other toys can easily have torn (or broken) fabric, especially shown in the antique store sequence
The Peas-In-A-Pod returned in the last episode of Forky Asks A Question, but I guess that you have a point about there not being much need for them. I mean, the only things they really did in Toy Story 3 was point out Woody’s missing hat and ask him where Andy lived. You could easily just have any one of Bonnie’s toys ask about Andy’s address and have Woody not lose his hat.
The first toy story movie events took place in 1995 where they encounter sid before moving to a different house.
The second toy story movie events took place in 1997 when woody was stolen by al before escaping the plane.
The third toy story movie took place in 2007 while Andy's other toys were put in the attic, being sold at yard sales, being donated, stored in the attic giving some of them to his sister molly between 1998-2006.
And the final toy story movie took place in 2009 at the carnival.
And the family home videos of andy's family were made which were recorded in 1998-2001.
I'll miss the robot, Rocky and R.C very much. RIP for them.

Because John Lasseter hated it, he made this known alot as he never saw Buzz that way as a space opera hero with lots of comedy. To me I love that series and would buy a DVD or such from them in a heart beat but it is in the vault.

The Barrel-O-Monkeys was probably Trashed, I had some when I was little, and typically they either got lost or their plastic would get funky, so we’d throw them away.
I’ve heard on the toy story wikia that Mr Shark, the Troikas and the Barrel of Monkeys were put into the attic, I’d love it if there’s shorts about them enjoying their time up there before potentially being sent to Bonnie’s where they would reunite with Woody and the rest of Andy’s former toys!
And that will explain why in Toy Story short Hawaiian vacation we saw the monkeys in the show

i do find it noteworthy how toy story is probably one of the few franchises to have an overwhelming shift in status quo, and permanently write off several side characters. as a kid, this was like a huge shake-up, but i grew to accept it as the new normal.

I'd never forget any of the toys. Toy Story 1 and 2 were my childhood.
I remember I got one of those large etch a sketch toys once when I was younger. Then one day I accidentally broke it. At least Andy was careful with his and he didn't break it. I also had a few of those small etch a sketch toys as well.
I don't think the Zurg at the end of 3 is the same one from 2, simply because the damage he sustained from falling down the elevator shaft is absent on the model shown in the clip.
I think these are separate Zurgs and the one from TS2 kept on playing with Utility Belt Buzz, maybe they ended up living in a play park like the feral toys of TS4
For Mr Mike: Andy stopped playing with and since Mr Mike was a rare toy they sold him for a lot of money
i don't think he was rare, there were plenty of those toy tape recorders back in the day, I've seen them at goodwill, but yeah he was probably sold

I can prove that Zurg’s fate is false! In Toy Story 2 we see that Zurg falls off the elevator onto the ground. Well next we see him in that movie, he’s playing catch with Buzz but he has a bent horn, a crooked cape, and one of his teeth lights aren’t working. But the Zurg we see in Toy Story 3 is completely fine and looks fresh out of the box.

The teddy bear on the shelf. In toy story 2. When Rex turns on the TV after the sheep stops pulling the cord from his controller. After the boat we see him in the commercial for Al's toy barn. So the teddy bear on the shelf during the meeting was donated to Al's toy barn
No the pink teddy was more likely bought by Andy and then Molly got to it after Toy Story 1 and before Toy Story 2 and un stuffed him
He was actually a prototype design for
Lotso, who was planned to appear in the first two movies, but animating realistic fur was not in the budget for Pixar, back then.

I remember there being a See and Say the Farmer Says in Andy’s Room in the first movie, and another one at Sunnyside in the third one. I also believe it’s possible that the Troika Doll was sold at a yard sale

@@therunningman7626 robot maybe didn’t have batteries and the army men they got stepped of Andy mom and maybe the dog took some off them and it was to much for the movie to do and the shark yeah he was funny maybe Andy was at a water park and forgot him and I don’t know so you just have to think about what happened to them

The first two characters here were played by an actor that died before Toy Story 3 came out. That’s why they disappeared.

Zurg is a bit broken when he falls that's why he is playing with belt buzz and the one in Sunnyside is in perfect condition so I don't think they were the same. I could be wrong tho
You should have mentioned the reason why some of these toys disappeared. For example, Wheezy and Lenny got donated cause their voice actors died, thus the decisions to retire the characters. And the Trolls likely didn’t appear in 4 likely cause DreamWorks now owns the trademark to Trolls.

I should go back in time to email 📧 Pixar to make Andy’s other toys 🧸 from Toy 🧸 Story 1 and 2 in Toy 🧸 Story 3, Toons, of Terror, That Time Forgot, 4 and/or 5.
One Toy that was definitely sold was the Hot Wheels track and car as these gain value over time and judging by some of the recent cars that are being brought out in the real world they soon rise in value depending on their desirability or if they are part of a limited edition series.

Don't worry about the trashed toys. They were picked up by trashman Sid who has reformed and now uses his skills to fix them.

I really wish RC was kept around for Toy Story 3, I know he didn't do that much but he could have made for some great moments, him, Woody and the rest of the gang have been through a lot, as evident by Toy Story 1 and 4.
They could have also given him a somewhat funny relationship with Bullseye, with them both being the "non-talkers" of the group, and somewhat animal like, but with one being a horse (very classic) and the other looking like a futuristic vehicle (very modern) it would have been a nice contrast, you could have them be like, animal pals or smth.
The Zurg is not the same Zurg as the one in Toy Story 2. When we last see Zurg in TS2 some of his teeth are broken, his horns are bent, and his cape is a bit damaged. Unless he was miraculously repaired, It's definitely a seperate Zurg in TS3.

One of the animators called Joe Ranft, died in 2005, there’s a little tribute to him at the end of cars, it shows that he voiced Wheezy and Lenny in Toy Story as well as Heimlich in a bugs life
