I have done correlation analysis between weight and volume of brass. The correlation is very weak. Based on my analysis, it is my opinion that weight sorting has little merit because the real issue with bread is the consistency of the volume of the combustion chamber (i.e. the brass case) which can not be accurately predicted by weighing the brass case.

Hi John, in your last video the way you organized the brass by # in your boxes makes a lot of sense, how would you do this with primers? Trying to visualize a primer sorting process using the excel sheet method?
Less likely to occur with primers I’d say. I’d be more likely to sort by groups of weight with primers.

Hi John, for a shooter who uses 3 different powders how does the ST compare to the V4 for ease of emptying the powder out. Sorry if you have demonstrated this and I’ve missed it.
Strictly based on using 3 powders they’re going to be close although the ST will probably be a little faster overall plus you can store powder profiles.
Emptying ST is easy. The unit is light. Open the bottom, all powder comes out.
So what would you choose now that you have used this machine between the Auto Trickler V4 Vs this new machine?
If you just want to throw and go the V4 is simpler. If you want to have saved profiles, programmed ladder tests, additional functions, and future expandability the the ST is your friend. Apples and Oranges.
@@FClassJohn What I really wanted was accuracy so I was thinking about putting an Ingenuity precision right next to it. I looked for a V3 auto dump but could not find one.
@@R1Kyle yeah the v3/IP combo is great too. Just watch Snipershide or AccurateShooter classifieds. They shot up here and there.
