I saw them a few weeks ago for the first time ever. Totally blew my mind, it was a incredible tribute. And for someone like me who wasn't able to see them with dime and Vinny, i was really moved and valued the experience a insane amount.
The way they paid tribute to the founding members in the show was really heartfelt.
Id see them again in a heartbeat.
I do think it would be more fitting to call the band "Pantera, in memory" or something of the sort.

I seen pantera in the early nineties in belfast pantera where backing up megadeth. It wasnt a massive venue but pantera came on and they where playing and i could basicly feel my chest sort of pulsating with the sound of the bass and the drums it was incedible.megadeth came on i love megasdeth but i think pantera where the best.

Great answer it is about the brand.....casuals need to understand this/ ERA fans move along, a brand exists beyond the members of the band. Remember the founders but appreciate the forwarding of the legacy.

This is not Pantera. This is a huge disrespect to the legacy of the brothers who made Pantare, Pantera. They should not be calling themselves or touring under the name Pantera. This is a joke and ruining the legacy. There is no going forward or a Pantera without the Abbott brothers.

It is ok that they are getting together with other musicians and playing pantra songs, but this is not Pantera. They should be touring or playing under that name.
