One can't help but wonder what MUSIC would be like if these men were still all together. Criminally underrated bass player who do his part in the best hard rock band in history.

You get pissed off because the bass is so quiet in pantera's recordings, all you can hear is guitar. Then you go to a clinic to hear some actual pantera bass playing. And then the playback is louder than the bass. :-(
A great bass player is always required if you want to be a killer trio. They not only have to keep the groove going during the guitar solo, but also fill in the empty space and keep the bottom end thump going. Rex does all of that and more! Great player.

I've always described Rex's sound as the ballsiest in the business. He's not a flashy, technical player but his style is simple, punchy, and perfectly compliments..and often enhances..the guitar. One of the best bassists in the genre.
