I found that the biggest difference in getting a better grade, was in how organized I was. Before, each time I studied, there was no goal, no plan. Which works for easier classes, but not the tougher science classes. Instead, what I do is, I set aside one whole day (or 2 half days) to create 2 study guide, one for the lecture and the other the lab. I would create the study guides (typed) during the week and review them over the weekend. Another thing I noticed was, for each lecture in microbiology, there might be 6 diseased listed, but each with different details (different symptoms, causative agents, reservoirs, etc) so I made flash cards, for each disease. Then I type questions, like, what are the symptoms of Lyme disease. If I did not know the answer, I looked it up on the card. 6 cards, about 6 details each, you can make atleast 36 questions from that. or if there is over lap, something like "Which 2 diseases come from insect bites" or whatever detail they share
Hi Julie Kollie, my name is Jessica Walker I'm a nursing student and I took counseling 12 in the Fall of August of 2021 and my final grade was a B I did take speech for the winter semester of January 4, 2022, for 1 month it was a pass or fail class now I'm taking Biology 3 Fundamentals of biology in the spring semester February 14, 2022, and it will end on June 14, 2022.
I took it in a CUNY school in New York. All the classes were offered online at that time because it was during the height of the pandemic. I'm not sure about other colleges, but now they are doing in person classes.
