This happened to me my first time through, and I couldn't figure out why. Dive outside of the turret range? I'd stay on the ground. Dive into the turret range? I'd immediately stand up and die. It drove me crazy. Eventually I figured out that I was holding down the SPRINT key when going into turret range out of a sense of danger, which I wasn't doing when out of turret range, which caused me to immediately stand and start running.

Super Earth doesn't want you to know that the same code that makes the sentries target helldivers in the training is the same code that's activated when your friend's sentry sees you.
huh, no wonder so many more divers is gaining their capes, someone destroyed the most important thing when judging a persons intellect, i must report this to super earth
The first time I was in this room, I already knew I had to dive and let go of the sprint button to stay prone. Unfortunately, the ground (brown bits) poking out from the floor have glitched and were poking out _more_ than they're supposed to, so the turrets have managed to kill me even when prone. I've returned to my ship afterwards, and thus, I'm one of the few Helldivers who hasn't completed the course 🙂
And how many Divers died because they never learned to dive huh? How many died because they didn't learn to leap away from danger!? Do you know how much blood is on your hands!?!? Face the wall soldier!
I tried this about a week ago after seeing a video showing how to get out of bounds with the MG pods, but didn't think of trying to drop MG pods on the turrets themselves... I guess they just gave the turrets insanely high HP and armor. I thank you for finishing what I couldn't o7
So this is why I've been seeing a lot of divers who didn't know what they're doing on the automaton front! It was you letting unqualified soldiers through! 😡
I seriously still have no clue how the turret one got people fucked up, besides not knowing inputs. I saw the turret section and immediately thought of the barbwire drills they do in basic training where they shoot over you as you crawl under barbed wire, or something like that. So I just stayed down
You should make a video documenting the increased impact damage with the balistic shield. It counts as an object after one of the patches so it hits you as well sometimes more than the damage you recive hiting the wall. This is because the shield has more momentum
Ok so it wasn't just me? I had to try like 15 times on this because I would stand on that feet decal on the ground and dive, only for the turrets to snipe me on the way down. Also is the Operator overseeing the test Eagle 1's voice actress?
That training is NECESSARY to weed out those who decide to be too weak to defend democracy! I’m reporting you to your superiors for reeducation soldier.

@Crimnox_Cinder I'm not alone. A lot of divers are pissed at the stupidity in this community. There were lv.100+ people trying to take Gaellivare. Mind boggling...
@@9unslin9erWe could've defended Gaellivare since the timer was stopped while DSS was there. We also could've liberated Mastia while DSS held Gaellivare. Both were perfectly feasible... Until the DSS moved to Acamar...
@Moravuscz There was no reason to Defend Gaellivare at all. That's what people don't understand. Putting all hands on deck at Mastia would have liberated it in 1/2 the time, and we would have gotten the Gambit. There were persistently 8,000+ divers on Gaellivare throughout the entire MO, doing absolutely nothing. Defending Gaellivare alone does not prevent another attack. Mastia was the supply line. @@9unslin9er You're right of course, Mastia should've been the priority, even the news bit said so... Something about "hurr durr stupid gambit divers" or whatever... It was the same thing with people defending Turing instead of liberating Acamar in the previous MO, where we could've pulled off a massive 5-way gambit... At the end of the day, when I saw 25k people defending Gaellivare and the time not ticking and also actually catching up to the bots I went and joined the effort, also since Mastia was outright losing % with only like 5k people there... Now we are going to get Helldivers that don't know how to dive and stay down.

When your first enemy is a stationary object… you know it’s gonna be a rough mission.
Diver, we fight bots for a reason. The difference between an automaton to a turret is that thr turret is chaotic neutral
Nah I’d extract
Real
The turrets are programmed to get the job done, no matter what's between them and their job. Lol.
I'd like to imagine it's actually people behind the turrets too, no gun would ever be put in the hands of a robot

Seems like the same code was used for the DSS.

Now we just have to avenge all the helldivers who were killed by our newest enemy, the dss.
Or they did think if through and went "heeeee fuck it, leave it in it'll be fun".
Fun helldiver 2 fact : you can slide (sprint then crouch mid sprint and for a second you slide)
instead of patching this, they should make it to where you get commended for your "intuitive thinking".
Instant like just for the Halo music
The madlad did it! He broke the code! Big pp move right there
Finally playable game!
Did it always mock you? I don't remember her voice lines.
You just have to die to the turrets on purpose, many, many times
the thing is on the battleflied turrets will often attack any diver not paying atteion
