This is by far my favorite comic book based television show. Marvel needs to take notes from DC and write good shows instead of the lame garbage they produce for their evil Disney overlords
Moon knight, loki, and Wandavision were good, I heard Agatha all along is good rn too but I haven’t watched it because I don’t care about that. Daredevil was amazing, punisher was amazing, and DD: Born Again will be good im sure
@@itzyoussef2291 I haven't seen Agatha yet, but everyone seems to be pretty happy and content with it (aside from people yelling about it on UA-cam of course).
Note the contrast of elemental imagery here. You have Sofia using water to get what she wants from Viti (her father's cash stash), and Oz using fire to get what he wants ("his" mushrooms back). Sofia is cold, liquid, and calculating. Oz is hot, fiery, and cunning (which is not the same thing as calculating).
If the Penguin is so good in this universe. What the fuck is Joker like lol? I wanna see a Riddler show with Joker featured as well as his origin as the Red Hood
I think it works because the expectations for a great Penguin were so low. But the expectations for Joker is always sky high, so we end up disappointed.
Sophia made a mistake not going to the Triads. She went to the Maroni's instead . Penguin is going to blame her for the Maroni's messing up the bliss and get the Triads on his side. Oz ran the drops for the Falcones he's got connections all over Gotham.
@@DigitalCharcuterie They don't waste anything. It's like they themselves are masterminds lol. I do wonder if they changed anything during the strikes. It's not often a show takes 6 months off to really look at what they have half way through.
Yeah that’s an excellent point. I wonder. I don’t think anyone has written or asked that question, but ya I wonder if they did any cleaning up during the strikes!
I too wondered why Mrs Maroni could not smell the gasoline on her son. And the answer is... because it wasn't gasoline. It was almost certainly pure alchohol, which is colorless, odorless, and highly flammable. Sure, we briefly see a plastic gas can in the back of Oz's car, but who says it had to contain gasoline?

@@DigitalCharcuterie I’m enjoying her character too much to want to see her die yet but I know it’s coming. I’d love to see her in a Batman movie. I absolutely adore this show!!
I refuse to believe that James Gunn and Matt Reeves won't come to their senses, and just make Pattinson the Batman in the DCU. Throwing all of this away would be the worst decision ever! Mainstream people are finally beginning to talk about DC positively because of this show.
You’re not wrong. I guess it depends on what type of Batman will be in the DCU bs the Reevesverse. Reeves said this is a trilogy, but if it makes sense…I can’t disagree with you
@@DigitalCharcuterie Regardless. All mafia type characters have a soft spot for their children. Look at Capone from Boardwalk empire. A complete pyschopath but a loving father. It's the only thing that I couldnt believe. Italian/Siciilians are big on family. That's just not a realistic depiction. The only way its believable is if Falcone was a complete nutjob which the other family members knew and went along with. I dont have a problem with her joining alliances. That's a logical thing for her to do with the intelligence she's shown. The problem I have is her whole arc in Arkham. Her dad did that to her? 10 years? I don't think even Hitler would do something like that.
My wild theory, just going off victor being an orphan and oz leaving people for dead is, ultimately he will do the same to victor and Batman will find him, see his knowledge and acquired skills and he will be Robin.
I think it hints to the court of owls big time. I think Oz will join forces with them at the end and will eventually hire them to kill Batman either at the end of this season or to begin The Batman part 2

I think the Batman not being in this might be related to it only being Batman year two at this point. All we’ve seen him do in the first movie is beat up punks, he not going after the bigger fish yet. His arc in the first movie was going from « Vengeance », taking it out on the low lives, to « Batman », actually wanting to help people. The show starts right after that and takes place over a few days. Bruce hasn’t fully transformed into Batman, the force to be reckoned with yet
