The best show like this on UA-cam or regular TV. Keep it up. You’re a craftsman, you’re entertaining as hell. You and Daniel are good people. Keep it up.
Nope. Just saw an ad for 3 or 4 TriFives for sale as a group. Must have been waiting for him to leave before selling so that they get a better price. Or they decided " Shit, if I don't advertise, there's no one in Manitoba left to buy them, now that DDSS is gone.
I'm glad that you take on the cars that most people would consider part's cars and do what it takes to get them on the road again. Never stop the butchery Dan ❤😊
Danny and Daniel don't forget you are putting a lot of your time and hard work into these cars ,A lot of people don't understand it ,I am building a 55 chev here in Australia, It's hard to get parts and the importers want three times as mutch as what thay go for in the USA, keep up the good work
Hi from NZ . Speaking of high prices for imported parts, as an example, I was browsing last night and came across an advertisement for Mickey Thompson Sportsman radial tyres, which were $1275 ish EACH.
A follow up to that , Iv'e just seen an advertisement for a Mickey Thompson Sportsman flame tread radial 33x22 $2347 each 🥺. BFG Radial T/A 's 295 x50 x 15 's are in the range of $700 to $900 . Luckily there are wide 15 inch Vitour galaxy's available for $240 ish.
Dan the "big roller" should pony-up and hire a transport rig to bring all the kids home in one shot. Seems a shame to let all that good yard art set so far away. would love to see a reunion of the fleet all in one spot for once.
Hi Dan.I am a Ford man ,but I love that you are saving all of these Tri fives. Keep doing what you guys are doing. You guys are very hard working people. If you want to come live in south Louisiana, we would love for you to move here. Thanks for all you do!
I grew up in Cartoons magazine and Krass and Bernie. That’s exactly what DD Speed shop makes me think of. I don’t give a Rats A$$ what car your working on as long as your working on something👍 - love the channel!
DD I lover what you do. Who is complaining all the time. you and danielle do great things, so just forget about the naysaying nabobs of negativism. I never pay attention to people who are negative. It is your channel and your money. I watch every episode, and enjoy watching the work you do. New place looks good. It's tough landing in a new area. keep up the good work. Cheers. Marc
I gotta a question how come you took the large work bench/cabinet deal out in the back stall and opted to use all the flat surfaces on the cars for workbenches/shelf duty. 😂 not hatin’ or criticizing I just find it funny. Also don’t forget you have that nifty overhead crane that came with the house, those things are pretty handy! 🏗️
Tri fives are why I started watching. I love them. I don’t mind something else now and then I’m fond of the Chevy 2 gasser. Hey I was wondering about the heater box in the blue n white 55. I didn’t remember seeing a heater box. Don’t pay attention to negativity. You guys be you. Looking forward to the next one.
LOVE the tri-fives! LOVE watching you get them back on the road! But, please....not every one of them needs fenderwell headers, a tunnel ram and a ratchet shifter. Just sayin'....
I think the four door '55 will make an awesome touring cruiser for making a ton of good memories. I like that you're digging it as a four door. Hope that budget 305/transmission combo makes for a lot of happy miles.
Never too rough !!! We need more DANS and less arm chair resto snobs !!! Im Currently restoring a 74 nova and took on a rotten rear frame rail and trunk …. Other than outters and bottom half quarters , its solid ! ….
To haters and naysayers I said bull. There are Ford guys that work on nothing else. There are Mopar guys that work on nothing else. And that's fine! I love all of the big 3. You are the Tri-Five guy! And about the yellow 55 that isn't "good enough" to fix, my 57 was about the same. Maybe worse. But I come to your channel and get ideas and fix it here and there. I am on a limited budget and there are things I have learned at your channel that 5 years ago I'd have just given up. But I see Dan do it and think "if he can, I can" and then i just go do it. It's your business what you do. I tell people about my cars " If you don't like it, don't look." I truly appreciate this channel BECAUSE it features tri-fives. My 57 is better already because of what I learned here. Plus it's just plain fun to watch. So to heck with the naysayers. You keep on keeping on. It's your business and your show and it's fun. Rock on!
First, you are one of my inspirations to get my 56 ford panel truck put back together as a hot rod driver: so clearly I live the 50s vehicles. However, as a long time subscriber, the same vintage just gets boring to some of us-- it keep on doing what you love and inspire a few of us along the way ❤️💪. Thanks for your consistent postings!
I’m just like Dan , I worked as a mechanic for 45yr and after 10 years retired I finally pick up a wrench again and doing what I enjoy fixing up a old jeep , I worked in the field for so long because it was so what I enjoyed. Do it your way and most all of hat complaining is just because they can’t do what they hay want
Keep the tri-fives alive. On my second 56. Have had muscle cars in the past, but tri-fives Chevys is always my passion. Currently building a street/strip gasser with a 671 SBC. Enjoy the content!
When you get one that nobody wants and bring it to a level that fits another guy's ability or capability to finish then you have done a great thing. You saved that car and now another person has his dream. You do good things sir.
Dan and Danny Keep doing what you are doing!! You are more than entertaining to me because you do things the old ways as the way I had to do things and learn by doing them.
Keep doing what makes you happy, stay in beast mode. Not every car has to restored to a Riddler level. You bring them back to a drivable vehicle in a very short period of time..... and that's all that really matters!
When I was rebuilding restoring motorcycles and a couple of cars, the goal and fun was working on it, my goal was not really at getting it finished, the fun was in the doing.
Hi Dan and Danny, it's been awhile. I'm glad to see that new place is taking shape. Please you don't have to explain your, we all know that you are a Trifive guy that's why we watch your channel 😂 . Everybody has a place on UA-cam and this is yours 😊. But the one thing that you haven't done is build a Trifive Camino😮 .
Hey Dan keep doing what your doing I'm more Mers age I'll be 64 and I love what your doing I've been fallowing you sense you started Dannis 57 and I wish I had the drive and energy you have also the money to be able to afford the money I was saving for a tri 5 has to go towards another truck sense I blew the engine in mine last week picking up my transmission for my big block monte carlo. I just have to start over it will just take me a lil longer. Great video thanks
As always great builds and humor a great mix that makes you're channel, I love tri fives too so I don't mind when one is dragged in but I also like seeing these classics back on the road.
Having the space to work is great Dan! It does make it easier to keep clean as well. Keep on buying the tri-fives and I'll keep on watching! High five from central Florida ✋
It really doesn't matter what people think about how you do things, what really matters is what you think about how you do things. So keep on doing things the way you want to and I'll keep watching.
Love your two's content. Keep and up and I am sure your Giant Boys! ( 22:56 Dogs) Love the new large property. You two Do You! You know we will watch the content. The algorithm says so! Keep up the fun D&D! Oh yeah. David (12 volt Dave F.) called you out on your tri five affliction 😅
Dan you mentioned on one of your videos than you talk to yourself, I cam across a study on you tube that people that talk to themselves are better problem slovers. so there you go keep up the great work and self conversation, this will make a great driver 305, 350 trans highway gearing, SWEET
There you go Dan , 4 door good looking ( the Cragers Stay), gas miser 305, maybe some highway gear already in it. Oh Yeah, I can see it now, everybody smilin' man, oh beautiful !!🙂🙂
I started watching your channel when you were pulling that one car out of the field as you were in the process of moving. I have enjoyed the ride to this point. Keep up the good work. I also watch Mortski and he picks on you a lot, that’s why I started watching because I wanted to see what it was all about. I’m loving it
MMMAAAAANNNNN to hell with what people say! Keep doing you! Im not one to subscribe after one video... Ive watched a few of you videos now and this one made me hit that button! Keep on keeepn on!!! Cheers to you both!!!
You had my attention the whole way through this show, as always. I enjoy watching you bring these old cars back to life so they can live on, hopefully a few generations. I do not think you do butchery like you often say. You are too hard on yourself. You and Daniel are genuine, not afraid to admit when you're wrong and you do it in an entertaining way. Now all that said I am curious to know if you ever plan to do what Puddin has done and Sleeperdude, leave their job and make UA-cam your job. I think you have what it takes to do it. Anyway great show, can't wait to see more of the trifives revival.
Congrats to anyone who can walk away from their occupation and make it solely on UA-cam. That being said, I think he is brilliant to do both. It would suck to go all in on content creation here and out of the blue, the monetization system change to screw over creators in a way it makes it not worth their while anymore.
Hey Dan! Just do what you can with what you got. That's my thing. I have patina trucks and a "going patina" 56 Nomad that's been in my family 47 years that I have no intention of painting. I like the story they tell. I have Some nice stuff a lot of "aged" stuff. I like it all. Expensive paint jobs don't make me enjoy it any more. So why spend the money. Put it where it counts. Reliability. Keep doing you. That's why I check in when I need a break from my own garage "frustration" LoL.
I truly enjoying watching the channel. The content is right up my alley, because I have a couple hotrods and enjoy working on them when I need to. Driving them is the best part of it. Keep up the good work on the channel. Love the new shop. Good day.
We go thru the opinions of viewers all the time, you do you and fix up what you want i believe you spend your time saving Nice Old Cars and Sharing it with all of us. I have been working on $5000 cars that someone bought with 200,000 miles on them and they are not as nice as those, and OMG your Nomads ROCK!
You are so right. If you are into or have a certain kind of car, these cars seem to find you. I had the same thing happen to me in the mid 90s into the mid 2000s with 47 t0 54 chevy pickups. At first I had trouble finding parts for them and then I was loaded up un complete trucks.
You don’t have to explain yourself to us true fans! Dan do what you love doing and screw the haters🤨🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼
If people can't see what you are doing for these cars then they aren't car people. They will all live to see another day. Great job Dan!
Exactly,he is doing the part some people cant or dont wanna do.And they are rescued instead of rotting away in a field or wherever.
The best show like this on UA-cam or regular TV. Keep it up. You’re a craftsman, you’re entertaining as hell. You and Daniel are good people. Keep it up.
I know why you moved to Alberta… Because you picked Manitoba clean of all the tri-fives!
Nope. Just saw an ad for 3 or 4 TriFives for sale as a group. Must have been waiting for him to leave before selling so that they get a better price. Or they decided " Shit, if I don't advertise, there's no one in Manitoba left to buy them, now that DDSS is gone.
@@gordonborsboom7460 he would fly right back out there for the right tri-5's!
I'm glad that you take on the cars that most people would consider part's cars and do what it takes to get them on the road again. Never stop the butchery Dan ❤😊
I’d be stoked daily driving in that 4 door 305
Yep.
2 pats of a throttle to set the choke & a little extra fuel, twist of a key, high idle for a couple, 3 minutes, good to go, and NO STUPID ELECTRONICS!
Dan, Daniel my brother! Relax! No matter what you do, we'll all be here to watch. You guys are the best. Signed - Your friend, Cancer guy!😊
I’m with ya both
Keep doing what your doing. These old cars NEED your you.
I love the way you build and snub your nose at Sema. Your quality goes into the heart of the car not the makeup. Stay true to your dreams
I like your style don’t ever change great content

I think you should flip the tri-five script and pick up a tri-five truck. 😬
That be super cool!😎
I agree. A tri five parts runner fixed Up kinda nice with D+D logo .

Tri-fives for the win. Maybe up your “good enough” baseline a little, as your talent continues it’s way up, bud!
Great title "That's it! We're going back to Winnipeg!!" My favourite Simpson's quote.
Take care😊
Dan I think the same way you do. It’s all about wat you can do for yourself and not to pay somebody to do it for you. That’s the point ❤❤❤❤❤
305's a great engine's i don't blame you. Most people will just assume its a 350 . unless they
I like it when you take one that's rough like that and bring it back where I could never have done it
You had my attention the whole way through this show, as always.
It would suck to go all in on content creation here and out of the blue, the monetization system change to screw over creators in a way it makes it not worth their while anymore.
thanks for the show sir and lady.
Dan you do what you do m8 I have followed you from the start. Always great m8 Jamie from Scotland 🏴🏴
Basic hotrodding is about your individual vision .As long as you know how to do things on your budget, have fun.
I Like the way your doing things keep it up Dan
I watch BECAUSE of all the tri fives..keep it coming
I truly enjoying watching the channel. The content is right up my alley, because I have a couple hotrods and enjoy working on them when I need to. Driving them is the best part of it. Keep up the good work on the channel. Love the new shop. Good day.
You do you as long you enjoy it it doesn’t matter what anybody else thinks
We go thru the opinions of viewers all the time, you do you and fix up what you want i believe you spend your time saving Nice Old Cars and Sharing it with all of us. I have been working on $5000 cars that someone bought with 200,000 miles on them and they are not as nice as those, and OMG your Nomads ROCK!
I wouldn't mess with the 55 4door I would leave it as a 4door
4 doors suck
I enjoy your content.

You are so right. If you are into or have a certain kind of car, these cars seem to find you. I had the same thing happen to me in the mid 90s into the mid 2000s with 47 t0 54 chevy pickups. At first I had trouble finding parts for them and then I was loaded up un complete trucks.
