One thing I like about you guys is that you are never shy about getting and using the best tools to get the job done. Yes, I realize it's a business expense, but I see so may other folks try to cheap it out and make do with half assed tools that end up breaking or being a safety issue. And Clinton, I'm beginning to understand your vision with the Helmsburg shop. I can see Tucker running it doing custom parts. I hope he realizes what an absolute blessing it is to be in the situation he's in and takes full advantage of it. What an opportunity to work side by side with your Dad and Granddad (and Kevin, of course!). Just amazing. Keep up the great work!
The only Company I know that defies the Statement !! In this case Jack of all trades, Masters of all of them !! Young Tucker is stepping up to the plate now, progressing to another level eventually to be the Next Generation... Another Great Video chaps, Thank You all..
This was funny hammered the pin out into the pit with Tucker down there and Clinton turns and looks at the camera and grins 😅. I like a shop that can have fun and no one gets hurt. Nice😊
You love your father so much Clinton. It is so nice to know how much you have grown his knowledge of the business. Sausage fingers does a good job and Hunter is quite an excellent student. Randy is a rockstar. I only wish Mrs. C was in your videos. She is a babe!
Good morning Clinton and the gang ,so Grandpa,s got his eye on this dozer😅😅😅. Its refreshing watching your cold wet weather, its Bloody hot here in Adelaide, its summer. Have a good weekend guys Kym Adelaide
Thanks for posting, looks like it has been pushing crushed reinforced concrete. Just needs Kevin to get his paint brush out :-) All the best from the U.K.
If Grampa wants to keep it he has his reasons. He has a big project coming up. If you find something you like with minimal computers you have struck gold.
Ours wore out the undercarriage and blade corners pushing 3 and 4 inch stone base for access roads through the soft ground to gas wells. They looked almost exactly like that. What Pap wants, Pap gets, 10-4?
Tucker might consider making those pin drivers and selling the. For instance Dirt Perfect he’d had problems removing pins on his tile plow. Sure others have a similar problem removing pins.
and another GREAT video, my Friday is complete. thanks guys. i sure miss videos of working on those green military non running low hr 750`s n 850`s. i have to admit i felt my butt hole pucker up when i heard "the Snap On truck is here". ive said it before that there are just as good of tools out there for less, like Mac, Matco, Cornwell and they have trucks too.
Great video Clint !! Snap Ons Motto Snap on Snap Off Snap On Snap Off My son bought a set of Snap On screwdrivers and I swear the Milwaukee screwdrivers and even Klein screwdrivers I have are better than SnapOn
I'd say the reason why John Deere Doesn't slot them is because they don't want you working on there tractor even though you bought it you ain't allow to work on it. Keeping their service shops in business.
Hey Clint , I am not a safety nazi or anything, I drove my Dad nuts sometimes on things, but I seen something that might hurt, or worse, one of your team, or family, notice the pin tool that you are whacking with a sledge hammer, the edges are curled over on that part the sledge hammer hits. Went to high school with a dude , that was splitting wood with a wedge and a sledge hammer , about 2 miles from me now in a gated community, the edges had curled like that, about the third log he hit the wedge on, he felt like someone shot him ,as the pain was INTENSE in his chest, he had a hooded coat, a flannel shirt and a t-shirt , that was soaked in blood. The ambulance treated him like a gunshot victim, and they had to operate to get the piece of steel that was with in a 1/4" from his heart, the only thing that saved his butt was it hit a rib and had deflected it, he would have been dead before the ambulance got there if NOT,!!. The piece they took out looked like a .22 bullet, that he made into a pendant necklace, that he used to show the chicks, how close he came to death!!! I am 67 yrs old last month, and worked 30yr in the concrete industry as a driver and seen to much shtuff happen that leaves a guy with nightmares, that could have been prevented. the worst is the scene I seen as a 11yr old with Dad, when his friend didnt put a safety block on a dump bed, and we walked up and seen him, he was supposed to have hauled a load of sand for Dad that day, and never showed up after 2hrs late and we found out why that has been a recurring nightmare ever since... Nice videos you all make always interesting shtuff you come up with and the military surplus shuttf!! Wish I could have afforded a Unimog you had for awhile those where neat things when they come out in the 70,s !!
As it wears it removes material so it’s shimmed brand new with no wear to what ever tolerance then as it wears and becomes slack you remove shims to make up for the wear in the joint to tighten it back up
Any History what this thing was pushing and my offer still stands i have no experience but will you hire me to hang out with you guys oh and I have outlaw josey wales ring tone any Chance we can get a video of rechroming hydraulic cylinders

Concrete demo and chunks used for fill on muddy soils is very hard on undercarriages, maybe more so than rock?
Thanks for posting, looks like it has been pushing crushed reinforced concrete. Just needs Kevin to get his paint brush out :-) All the best from the U.K.

This is one of the best channels on UA-cam

Mr.Tucker, The Super Welder
Nice video as always 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Idea ? Why not get an Industrial jack hammer and use it to drive out rusted pins !! Bigger is always better with Hammers 👍
Do you unhook batteries when you are welding on machines or do you just use the battery disconnect switch?
I don't miss the Snap On truck.. i still have my taco wagon in the garage, I wish I could sell it for what I paid.
nice work
I'd say the reason why John Deere Doesn't slot them is because they don't want you working on there tractor even though you bought it you ain't allow to work on it. Keeping their service shops in business.
On the railroad we would call that ugly socket drive arrangement a “ lash up”.
Tucker, next time you and Mr. C talk about pay you can remind him you now have a very valuable skill set that demands top pay. Sorry Mr. C.

Thought this was gonna be one of them comments moaning over nothing but you have a valid point
I have been meaning to ask you if Tucker is certified with welding?
Note from arkansas
What is the purpose of shim removal? I would think as parts wear, one would add shims due to slack as opposed to removing?
As it wears it removes material so it’s shimmed brand new with no wear to what ever tolerance then as it wears and becomes slack you remove shims to make up for the wear in the joint to tighten it back up
@@gregshearer423 Thanks
It’s $100 for that pushbutton starter switch.
Note from Arkansas state police and Taco Bell; be on look out for turbo el Camino making “ run for border” at high speed, driver aka k ranchero
Any History what this thing was pushing and my offer still stands i have no experience but will you hire me to hang out with you guys oh and I have outlaw josey wales ring tone any Chance we can get a video of rechroming hydraulic cylinders
Do you guys just burn the used oil for heat?
What causes those chrome parts to get marked up on the cylinders😊
A big chunk of concrete or a frozen lumps
So why didn’t you slot those shims, then you wouldn’t have had to totally disassemble it again?
Comparing a John Deere to Cat has got to be the joke of the day no where near the machine 😂😂😂😂😂
Did you put slotted shims back in for the next monkey?
no 🤫
Now you going to have bad luck. Closing a knife after someone else opens it!
👌👍😅😎
What's Mason been up to? (Haven't heard anything for a while)
He has moved on to somewhere else, Clint said...
What a screwed up design that joint is ! Would have been much better the why you described .
