Rancho loves to run and can run really fast. You are a fast runner who can keep up with him. I used to be a good runner but due to health reasons can no longer ran like that. I love to watch you running with Rancho. 💞
Same I loved running and would love a dog for that but can't due to health like you. I'm going to try riding a bike instead since it's not as physically tasking. Depending on the trails and route anyways
Hi Rancho I’m here first watching the ads now first👍🏻 Wow that’s is so cool...good for big dogs I don’t think I could pull my MaMa. But that looks like fun for you and your Humom. She’s got lots of practice and can keep up with you. my MaMa says if Rancho pulled her she’s be flat on her face you are so fast! Great video cool equipment and beautiful scenery!👍🏻❤️😁🦊
I love the intros to your videos. The whole video is generally so calming ☺️ I *just* found your channel when searching for the best harness for dogs (I plan to make my own for my dog so it fits and works for us very well) I love your content so far! Thank you so much 💚
Good Morning Rancho! 🤗Absolute great reasons to start running 🏃♀️ when possible. Fortunately, my daughter is familiar with Canicross. Those doggo booties are definitely important and I’m glad you mentioned it. We forget our furry companions need their paws protected too. The unpredictable rough terrain combined with extreme fluctuating weather temperature can create havoc on your dogs paws. I appreciate your quick tips too, valuable tips indeed. You did your homework! Impressed and grateful. Hydration and trimming your dogs nails are so IMPORTANT. Thank you Rancho and Mom! 🙏🤗 This is easily one of my favorite vlogs. Very helpful. I smiled when you mentioned one of the benefits of Canicross, aside from the life improving exercise and crucial bonding time, you also get to unplug from all social media and enjoy nature with your best friend, uninterrupted. Everything you mentioned are all beneficial for you and your dog(s). Thank you so much for the pawsome information and suggestions. You take the intimidation away, I appreciate it. Have a great day and a blessed week ahead. Much love my beautiful dear friends. We love you Rancho! 🥰🐾🐕💋🧡
Hey Elena ❤ It's great to hear that your daughter's familiar with canicross. We honestly love it so much. I'm happy you liked the vid ❤🙂☺ Have an awesome day.
Thanks Rancho, that was interesting and lots of good info, especially about the right equipment, stretching, cooling up/down, and maintaining good nail health. Rancho seems to be so happy zooming along with you! 🙂💙
Great video, Rancho is simply beautiful, one of the best looking Tervs we've seen. He reminds of our Lightning so much, we really enjoy watching these. Excellent camera work too and your English is perfect, keep up the good work. Kim & Scott
This is a beautiful video! Tove and I just started canicross and she absolutely loves it and surprisingly I do too! When I take out her pulling harness she can barely contain herself. Have fun and big kisses to Rancho! Edit: I carry a running backpack too with water for us both.
Canicross is fun, but we prefer 'normal' walks, as ours love to sniff around. Fáelán does love to pull, but Sjaak uses the kickbike for that. Rancho surely loves it. Going out there with your dog(s) is always nice🐺🐾🐶⚘
I love rancho ..... what kind of feed do you give it? It has very nice hair I have a tervueren and I give it a taste Of The Wild I think for puppies with roasted Bison and Venison 12.2kg High prairie puppy do you recommend me some trick to have that shiny hair thank you .....
That's a great video! We love to bikejor, but I do all sorts of stuff in the dryland mushing world! Including canicross! By the way, after siberians I am interested in getting a tervuren as my next dog :) I love my siberans, but turvs are pretty much opposite as huskies yet still high energy and I'm interested in their temperament!
I would love to but my legs and heart wouldn't be able to take it. I might try a bike instead but haven't rode one in forever so would have to practice and build endurance. Although I am proud of myself since getting a puppy I've gone walking more and don't have as much chest pain anymore. So now I can even run down my small road with my puppy at the end of our walk and it not cause pain which is a huge improvement : )
We don't practise any dog sport or special exercise with the dogs. However my Flat coated retriever and myself are certified for searching after animals and also humans. He is a trailing dog which means he gets a smeller and then follows that individual smell. A smeller can be fur from an animal or a blanket where the animal usually lays or a brusch used for that individual. Then we follow that scent as long as need be. Our longest search in one day was 25 km. Most often we are searching cats becuase only in Gothenburg it disappears 10-20 cats every day. A tyical cat search will be 8-10 km and take 2-3 hours. Dog searches takes normally longer and goes on until it gets too dark or we have located the dog. In all searches the dog is the boss and it is his nose we have to thrust. My Trevueren has taken part since a few months. He has himself figured out what his big brother is doing and now slowly start to take part. He is now 5 months old. The dogs love to work with the nose and trail animals. We do this 3-4 times every week. Sometimes more often. We all the time get more request for help seraching for pets than we can handle. That is how my dogs and myself get a lot of exercise and mental stimulation, It always feels very satisfying when you can bring someones dog or cat back to the owners.. It often brings out tears of joy and a great relief that the pet is back and well. Trailing dogs exist in some other european countries than Sweden but are not very common.
Nice but to keep up with a belgian shepherd you have to be Pistorius 🤣, i prefer to ride a muscle bike with my 10 year old malinois "yes he carries them well" when tired goes back in the trailer, i dare to recommend you dog trailer and disc dog🚵♂️🥏 ..with your beatifull tervueren
I love running with my dog mainly because of company and also the toilet breaks she does so I can rest with feeling no guilt
Hehe! Nice 😊

What camera are you shooting on? Your footage looks stellar! So cinematic now.

Nice! We love biking too. It's definitely a faster way to wear a dog out, and they can finally run at full speed hehe.
