I wish your health very well but I have to tell you you are one of the tight asses I know in my life, not that I actually know you personally or anything like that, but come across people like yourself you cannot tack on pre-existing conditions of mechanical failures onto the price of the motorcycle or hotel fees or food or gas it’s not fair to the customer and I know you have Hylan‘s customers that’s my God-given American right to have an opinion. That eagle stuff is what I always see on the 5 dollar tarps at swap meets. Guess I better start buying that up! I just pulled a ton of that garbage off of a OP Brown 76, 1 owner XLCH 12k orig miles, I just picked up for 2500 bucks! I was literally going to toss that stuff! I better hold onto it now??

Just found your channel. Watched a video of you talking about WL vin numbers. I'm looking to buy a 1947 WL. Vin# looks legit to me? And it matches the title. Motor also has matching case #s. The vin has a higher production number than the amount of WLs built in 1947. Do you think it's been re-stamped? Can I send you a picture and get your opinion? Thanks

I’ve been riding and building HD’s since ‘69………I had a buddy bought one a few months ago with 37k on the clock and paid 6,500$ for it mint..original paint…..come down to the gulf coast man……buy up a few and go back home and sell them….if your getting what your asking there you would make $$….
You're forgetting the cost of traveling there, bringing them back here and the rust Eastern bikes often have which dramatically decreases the value on the west coast. Any margin of profit would be evaporated

Here's the problem. It costs more to go get a bike that's over 5 hours away then I can make in profit

From Carson California to Flagstaff Arizona it cost me 3 days due to having to travel at night during the 115 degree days, and 3k to go get this. Despite traveling at night, I still took out two trailer tires at a cost of $1350. Luckily I carry spares. My cost of purchase on this machine was 10k, I've put another $350 into it. There are simply not enough bikes left in the USA to hire a driver and the expenses of going to get them is too much

You sleep through the Pandemic? By the time Trump left office the US economy had shit down, supply lines had shut down. We had the covid-19 vaccine but no plans on how to distribute it. Takes a lot of money to distribute the vaccine and reopen the largest economy in the world. Yes prices are higher. That's what happens when you rescue an economy from death. However. Our inflation is less then any other country in the world and our economy bounced back faster then any other economy in the world. Don't believe me? Just compare today's exchange rate against historical exchange rates. Our dollars go up in a good economy and historically they've almost never been higher.
